"Good. Your behaviour in your years of serving this would determine whether or not your sentence will increase or be worse or if you will be shown pardon during your sentence." Mira Yang stated. She gave a glance at Ming Tao who did not look half at all satisfied with what she said but he did not say a word.

"Yes, wife of the mighty cheetah. You have been so kind to me with your mercy. My life belongs to you." Mu Yang said.

Mira nearly laughed. His life was already hers and he would be begging her to take it once she had assigned him to his master but she did not needed to say that. Mu Yang was still knelt to the ground and Ming Tao brought his hand to his face and let out a hefty sigh. "Get this mongrel out of my sight." He stated. Just then, the two cheetah warriors kicked Mu Yang on the ass then picked him up.

Ming Tao then looked at the shaman, nothing useful had come out of Mu Yang and it was all because of Mira’s intervention but he did not complain. "Please, proceed with Hye Yang." Ming Tao stated. The shaman obeyed.

The shaman proceeded with Hye Yang and the must featured when she was with Mu Yang. Lucky for Mu Yang, in Hye Yang’s memories, there was nothing about her involving him in her diabolical plan.

She did that all alone. She carried some of the leaves the sorcerer had given to her and buried it in the soil of the cheetah clan, after this, she muttered out some spell that no one could make word of.

The rest of the scene from there was pretty much everything that Mira and Ming Tao already knew so they laid little to no attention to that part but everyone else in the crowd watched the mist, still surprised by the revelation.

A groan echoed in the environment. Hye Yang’s body began to shake and the blood that streamed out of the corners of her eyes now spread till her entire lower eyelids were filled with blood which drained downwards her cheeks. The blood pooled beneath her jaw and began to stain the cheetah ground and her ears began to bleed too.

"Please. . . ." Hye Yang coughed. "Please no more. . . ." She pleaded. She sounded weakened and out of breath.

"The one who speaks is not the body but the mind." The shaman responded. "Her mind has experienced so much suffering she is beginning to voice out the thoughts of her mind." The shaman explained to Mira and Ming Tao.

What he meant was, Hye Yang was still putting up a wall and she was still as stubborn as ever but her mind had reached its limit and she wanted this to stop. Too bad for her, the last thing that was on Mira’s mind was stopping this thing.

"Will her feeble mind make her make the confession?" Mira asked the shaman.

The shaman took a pause, his eyes stared deep into Hye Yang before he opened his mouth to respond to Mira. "I can induce her mind to voice out the words that lay there so yes, she will be able to make an honest confession."

Mira felt the ends of her lips curl. There would be no better way of doing this than for Hye Yang to use the same mouth she used to deny all of these allegations to affirm it.

"Do it. And ensure nothing is altered. Let her be the one saying it." Mira said.

The shaman took a deep breath and let out an exhale before nodding. "Poor child," he murmured, his attention on Hye Yang. "Do not make yourself suffer any further and give in to me." The shaman’s voice carried pity. Mira was stunned by the pity and she wanted to order his head hanged but she knew even she did not have the power to order such a thing towards a spiritual leader in the beast world. And she was sure it was her pregnancy hormones that heightened the anger she felt right now. This shaman had witnessed all that Hye Yang had done yet he was still sympathetic and it vexed Mira to the bone.

The metallic scent of fox’s blood filled Mira’s nose and she put a hand to her mouth to stop herself from throwing up. No one in the crowd knew that she was pregnant yet and if anyone did smell her cub, they had been silent about it so she was trying to contain the pregnancy well. Until she and Ming Tao had decided to announce Mira’s pregnancy, it would not be spoken about but she could not help but feel irritation and nausea.

Ming Tao immediately focused on his wife, he spread his arms around her without letting his hands come in contact with her body like a blockade shield to ensure that her body had space to move and she would not feel choked, and also so if she decided to fall, he would be able to catch her at any angle.

"I will not have you stand any longer, darling. You will sit and I will have cheetah maidens come and tend to you in this place since you want to witness this judgement too." Ming Tao said to Mira at once. His heart was racing in his chest and while he wanted Hye Yang punished for her crimes, his mind immediately shifted his priority to taking care of his wife and his unborn child.

Mira did not bother try to complain, she needed to eat something spicy or bitter at once to aid with this nausea and she also would like to have an empty bowl for her to puke in if she needed, another bowl full of water for her to wash her mouth of the vomit and another bowl of water for her to drink.

"Okay. I will listen to your every word." Mira said to her husband. Ming Tao let out a sigh of relief then he turned his head to the side and gestured for a cheetah warrior to come with his head movement. The cheetah warrior came to his side at once.

"Get the elder woman and her maidens here at once and have them attend to my wife, but before you do that, bring one of the seats here for my wife to sit. Have other warriors help you if you must and try not to disrupt the occasion while you’re at it." Ming Tao said to the warrior. The warrior bowed his head in a respectful manner then walked away. He asked for help from his fellow cheetahs and one of the wooden seats was brought for Mira and she sat down. Now the warrior went to look for the maidens.

"The maidens that cared for you in my absence will be here for you soon, please, rest till they’re here." Ming Tao said to Mira. Mira had so many thoughts in her head but she did not voice them out for the sake of peace.

"You spoil me, my husband, thank you." Mira said to Ming Tao.

Ming Tao felt his cheeks burn. His eyes wandered everywhere else but on Mira and he raised his hand to scratch the back of his head. He felt his heart flutter too. "It. . . It is my duty as your husband, don’t mention it!" Ming Tao gushed. Mira wanted to giggle, her skinny cat was cute. He was still her shy, cutie cat despite being such a stern ruler. Mira wanted to say something when a scream broke out in the background.

"I CONFESS!!" The woman who caused the disruption yelled. "It was me! It was me all along. My sister. . . . Mira Yang. . . . She was innocent! She always was. I was the bad omen behind every single bad thing that happened in the region and I blamed it on her! Please! Let me go! I will confess everything please!!"

Awe spread among every single beast person present. No one in their wildest imagination had expected to witness such a thing today, and right now, the woman in question was confessing.

"Please!! Let me go. Pleaseee. It hurts." Hye Yang begged. "My head hurts. My entire body feels like it’s in flames and my heart pounds so hard like it is about to burst out of my body. Please! Let me go, please I will say the truth!!" Hye Yang begged again.

Mira shot her eyes to the shaman. She wanted to speak but he answered her question before she even voiced it out.

"The sorcerer placed a wicked spell on the poor child and it is roasting her inside out as she speaks the truth. Should I stop the spell or should I let her confess regardless?" The shaman asked. Mira felt a twisted way at this question, more than anything, she wanted Hy Yang to suffer.

"I know about the lion king! Please set me free and I will tell you every single thing. Please!"
