All the noble families arrived; even their clan leader had also come. They all understood what that terrifying aura meant, as such beings are the top beings in the State of Silver Rivers who can decide their life and death in a matter of thought.

The clan leaders of the top nobles also arrived, but they didn’t enter the inn; instead, they all waited outside calmly without making much noise.

Even a moment later, the city lord of Flameheart City and clan leader of the Flameheart family also arrived.

Many people looking at the scene couldn’t help but marvel; all the heavyweights of the city were here waiting patiently like some lowly disciple waiting for the master to come out.

The City Lord possessed a powerful aura, but only a few perceptive Transformation Realm experts could sense the slight instability hidden within it. They all understood that the final battle during the beast tide wasn’t easy and he may have received some injuries.

But even then, he came without resting, as the appearance of such powerful people was the most urgent matter for him and the entire city.

Terrifying beings at that level can destroy their cities like it was nothing. They can have a chance to survive facing a beast, but in front of such a powerhouse, there was no hope.

So, he naturally had to come and understand what happened here, and hopefully it didn’t impact Flameheart City.

Then they heard the sound of footsteps from the inn, and immediately the entire street, which was now filled with people, became silent. Nobody dared to make any noise, whether they were rogue mercenaries or from noble families; even the various clan leaders took a deep breath.

Slowly from the inn, two people, Max and Aron, walked out of the inn. They all watched the two figures, feeling curious, but there were some who seemed to show surprised expressions.

Because they knew Max, although most of them didn’t know him personally, they had seen him fighting. Even the old commander from the eastern gate was also present and had noticed Max and even wanted to bring him to the Flameheart family.

But the most shocked was none other than Ethan Silveblade, who was standing behind his clan leader father. His eyes trembled a bit in shock and horror as he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He had already learned from his father that the terrifying thing that made him almost shit himself came from someone surpassing the Transformation realm.

So, how can a peasant commoner come out along with a terrifying entity that surpasses the Transformation realm?

After seeing this, he panicked; his mind almost went blank at that moment, as he didn’t know what to do at this moment. He had sent someone to kill Max, so there was a feud between them, and it was a bloody one.

Max definitely wouldn’t let it go. He started to sweat and felt horror and despair, as along with Max was someone who surpassed the transformation realm and could destroy his family without any difficulty.

Serpent was also there, and his eyes showed a bit of shock and fear, but he controlled his emotions and quickly told the Clan Leader of the Silverblade family. Things had come to this; he naturally needed to tell about the things young master Ethan had done.

The Clan Leader of the Silverblade Family was a middle-aged man with a sharp aura that resembled a drawn sword. Even his hair carried a faint silvery colour.

But after hearing what his son had done, his expression changed, but it was too late, as nothing could be done now to change anything. But he remained calm and quickly ordered the serpent to take Ethan away silently.

Max, on the other hand, watched the gathered people calmly, and he could guess what was going through their minds.

But he quickly noticed Ethan, as he seemed to be trying to quietly leave the bustling crowd. A sinister smile appeared on Max’s face.

"Young master Ethan, where are you going? How can you leave without a word?" His voice wasn’t loud, but at that moment it appeared extra clear due to the pin-drop silence.

His words immediately attracted everyone’s attention, and they all couldn’t help but look towards Ethan, who stopped in his steps hearing Max’s words.

Ethan’s face immediately became pale and seemed to be dried like old wood; he wanted to cry, but at that moment he could not do anything. The expression of the Silverblade Clan leader fell, as if it seemed it could not be avoided.

Everyone watching this felt surprised, but immediately most of them were gloating, seeing this as many didn’t like Ethan, who had done quite some horrifying things.

They could guess Ethan might have done something stupid, and this time it seemed he messed with the wrong person.

"Mmmm..." Everyone looked at Ethan as he seemed to start to stutter, feeling terrified.

Seeing this, the clan leader of the Silverblade family was about to step in, but before he could step in, Max made his move.

Bang!

A powerful blood bullet shot from Max’s hand at terrifying speed.

Ethan’s eyes widened in terror. He wanted to move, but his body refused to obey him.

At the same moment, the Silverblade Clan Leader, a peak Transformation Realm expert, prepared to save his son.

But before he could do anything, a terrifying pressure suddenly descended upon him. The pressure was so overwhelming that his entire body froze.

He couldn’t move even a finger. His eyes widened as he watched helplessly.

Splash!

The blood bullet struck Ethan. His head exploded instantly under the terrifying force, spraying blood across the ground.

The entire street fell into an even deeper silence. They all looked at Max in surprise, seeing his ferocity and fast action without hesitation.

Even Aron, standing beside him, nodded internally; he also helped by stopping the clan leader of the Silverblade family. Only those with sharp minds, decisive and ruthlessness toward their enemies can be truly worthy of being a member of the City of Blood.
