[BL] Transmigrated Into A Fool To Seduce The Blackened Male Lead
Chapter 93: Planning For The Future
Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Planning For The Future
Seeing the green pill in his hand, Sui Sui felt a sudden rush of excitement. It was his first ever pill, and he instinctively wanted to share his little achievement with someone. Unfortunately, most of the people he knew were either away or busy, leaving him with no one to show it to.
Then he suddenly thought of MuMu.
After making up his mind, Sui Sui quickly entered his private dimension.
Sui Sui quickly found MuMu near the lake. The little white beast was crouched at the water’s edge, peering intently into the lake as though he were having a very serious conversation with someone hiding beneath the surface.
Sui Sui slowed down.
Was MuMu talking to someone?
Or... something?
"Hey, hey, Bluey! Come out and play with MuMu, won’t you?" MuMu called sweetly toward the lake. "MuMu promises not to eat you. Well... maybe just a little lick?"
Sui Sui’s footsteps immediately stopped.
He stared at MuMu in disbelief before finally walking closer.
"What are you doing?"
MuMu’s ears perked up at the familiar voice. He immediately abandoned whatever he had been doing by the lake and flew toward Sui Sui.
"Oh, you’re here!" MuMu happily circled around him once before flying directly in front of him.
"Sui Sui! MuMu wants to eat something! You promised to give MuMu food last time, but you never did!" He puffed up his little cheeks and began complaining. "Gimme, gimme! MuMu is hungry!"
Sui Sui couldn’t deny that MuMu had a point. He really had promised to bring him something to eat, but with everything that had happened recently, he hadn’t had much time to enter the dimension and keep his promise.
Fortunately, he still had a few pastries left in his storage pouch.
He quickly took them out and handed the whole stack to MuMu.
MuMu’s eyes immediately lit up. He snatched the pastries away and happily began stuffing them into his mouth.
"Is that enough?" Sui Sui asked.
MuMu nodded enthusiastically, his cheeks already puffed up from the food. "Yeah, yeah! Enough! Hehe!"
He continued munching happily for a moment before suddenly looking back at Sui Sui. "By the way, why did Sui Sui come in today? Do you need something?"
Hearing this, Sui Sui finally remembered why he had come here in the first place. He quickly took out the small green pill, holding it carefully between his fingers with a faintly proud expression.
"Not much. I just wanted to show you this. It’s my first-ever pill! What do you think? Not too shabby, right? Hehe." He placed the pill in the center of his palm and proudly held it out toward MuMu, waiting for him to admire his hard work.
"Although, I haven’t checked its eff—"
Before Sui Sui could finish speaking, MuMu suddenly leaned forward, then, in the blink of an eye, the green pill disappeared from Sui Sui’s palm and went straight into MuMu’s mouth.
Sui Sui froze.
MuMu chewed twice, then swallowed. He even smacked his lips and licked them afterward, looking completely satisfied as though he had just eaten a particularly delicious treat.
"Wow! This is delicious!" MuMu’s eyes immediately lit up as he looked at Sui Sui expectantly. "Does Sui Sui have more?"
"You—you!" Sui Sui stared at his now-empty palm in complete disbelief.
That was his first pill!
His very first pill that he had painstakingly refined himself!
And MuMu had just eaten it without even asking!
Sui Sui’s excitement instantly turned into a mixture of grief and exasperation. But before he could complain about his precious first pill, another thought suddenly occurred to him, and his expression changed to worry.
"How could you just eat it like that?" Sui Sui asked anxiously. "I told you it’s my first time refining a pill! I haven’t even checked its effects or whether it has any side effects yet. What if something goes wrong with your body?"
"Side effects? MuMu doesn’t feel anything. In fact, MuMu thinks MuMu feels even more comfortable now!" MuMu said brightly, completely unconcerned. He even rubbed his little belly with a satisfied expression. "It smells really good too. MuMu likes it!"
Sui Sui could only stare at him for a moment before raising a hand to his forehead, he genuinely wasn’t sure whether he should laugh or cry.
He had spent so much time carefully refining his first pill, only for MuMu to swallow it in a single bite without even giving him a chance to examine it properly, but since MuMu was still perfectly fine and had not shown any strange reactions, Sui Sui could only let the matter go for now.
"Forget it," he muttered helplessly. "I’ll just refine another one later and test its effects properly."
At least there didn’t seem to be any immediate problems.
Since Sui Sui was already here, he decided to take the opportunity to check on the progress of his private dimension as well.
He had barely spent any time here recently. The case in Xuánshuāng City had kept him constantly busy, and Yizhou had been with him almost the entire time, making it difficult for him to find a chance to quietly slip into the dimension.
Now that he finally had some free time, he decided to look around and see how everything was progressing.
His first stop was the small patch of land where he had planted the Spirit Dew Grass seeds about a month ago.
Sui Sui walked over and immediately stopped in his tracks as he stared at the plants before him in surprise.
"So fast?"
Many of the Spirit Dew Grass had already bloomed.
Although it was called grass, it wasn’t actually grass in the usual sense. It looked more like a flower, except that its petals were extremely thin and elongated, giving it the appearance of blades of grass when viewed from a distance. The delicate green petals swayed gently in the breeze, each one carrying a faint spiritual glow.
More importantly, many of them were already fully mature and they were ready to be harvested.
Sui Sui crouched down and examined them carefully. To his even greater surprise, some of the mature flowers had already dropped their seeds, and tiny new plants were beginning to grow around them.
This growth rate was far too fast, normally, Spirit Dew Grass would need at least two to three months to fully mature. Yet the ones he had planted here had reached maturity in barely a month.
Sui Sui’s eyes gradually lit up at the realization.
Could the spiritual environment inside his dimension be accelerating their growth?
He carefully examined one of the mature plants and noticed the thick green spiritual light surrounding it.
That glow was much stronger than he had expected.
Judging from its spiritual energy alone, this batch of Spirit Dew Grass should be high-grade quality.
Sui Sui was ecstatic to see this, Since he planned to practice alchemy, the first and foremost thing he needed was a steady supply of herbs. Most medicinal pills were made from various herbs, so if he could grow his own ingredients, wouldn’t that basically mean he was set for life?
The more he thought about it, the more excited and grateful he became.
If he remembered correctly, the sect did provide its alchemists with their own plots of land. However, they could only receive their own plots after reaching the Golden Core stage, and even then, the land they received wasn’t particularly large—probably only a few square meters at most.
After all, the sect had many alchemists, and there simply wasn’t enough land for everyone to have a large plot of their own.
Compared to that, Sui Sui’s private dimension was practically a cheat.
He had already skipped the most troublesome part. Now, all he needed was a steady supply of seeds, and he could grow his own herbs inside the dimension.
The thought made Sui Sui even more excited.
At first, he considered asking for some seeds from the sect’s herb garden. But after thinking about it, he quickly scrapped the idea. It would be strange for a Qi Refining cultivator like him to suddenly ask for herb seeds, especially when he had never shown much interest in alchemy before. Even if no one questioned him directly, it could still attract unnecessary suspicion.
It would be better to get the seeds himself.
Sui Sui quickly made up his mind.
Once he had the opportunity, he would go down the mountain and buy a large variety of herb seeds for himself.
That way, he could quietly build up his own herb garden without anyone else knowing about it.
