[BL] Transmigrated Into A Fool To Seduce The Blackened Male Lead
Chapter 133: Going Out Again
Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Going Out Again
Sui Sui woke up earlier than usual that morning. Since he planned to spend the day in Linfeng City, he took his time getting ready. After washing up, he stood in front of the mirror and cast the disguise spell he had learned, changing his hair color to an ordinary black. He then adjusted his clothes slightly to make his overall appearance look different from usual, looking more like a rogue cultivator than a disciple of a big sect.
After examining his reflection one last time, he nodded in satisfaction. This should be enough to keep people from recognizing him too easily. He was only going down the mountain to sell pills and buy some supplies, but it was always better to be cautious.
Just as he was about to leave, MuMu came bounding over, his round little body practically bouncing with excitement. "Sui Sui! MuMu wants to go too!" he exclaimed, his golden eyes sparkling as he looked up at Sui Sui.
Sui Sui glanced down at him, a little surprised by his sudden enthusiasm. "You’re coming with me? What for?"
"To explore!" MuMu answered without the slightest hesitation. "MuMu has been staying inside the dimension for so long. MuMu wants to see what’s outside!" He bounced excitedly, clearly unwilling to let Sui Sui leave without him.
Sui Sui couldn’t help laughing at his reaction. He had originally planned to go alone, but since MuMu was so eager to see the outside world, he eventually gave in. After reminding the little beast not to wander off or cause trouble, he took MuMu along and headed toward the area where disciples boarded the winged beasts that traveled down the mountain.
It didn’t take long for them to find a suitable ride. Once they had settled in, the winged beast spread its enormous wings and took off, carrying its passengers into the sky. As the mountain peaks gradually shrank beneath them and the clouds drifted past, MuMu’s excitement reached an entirely new level. He scrambled toward the side to get a better view, practically bouncing in place as he stared at the scenery below.
"Wow! Look at that! It’s so beautiful! Sui Sui, look! We’re flying above the clouds! Everything down there is so tiny!" MuMu exclaimed, turning this way and that as though he couldn’t decide what to look at first.
Sui Sui watched him with amusement. "Can’t you fly on your own? Why are you so excited about riding a winged beast?"
"That’s different!" MuMu protested immediately, turning toward him with an aggrieved expression. "MuMu has never flown this high before!"
Sui Sui chuckled and reached out to steady the little beast when he nearly bounced into another passenger. "Alright, alright. Just don’t move around so much. If the wind catches you and blows you away, don’t come crying to me."
"MuMu won’t get blown away!" MuMu declared confidently. Yet when a gust of wind swept across the winged beast’s back, he immediately grabbed Sui Sui’s sleeve and held on tightly.
Sui Sui shook his head, trying to suppress his laughter as he watched MuMu cling to him while continuing to stare excitedly at the scenery..
After the winged beast landed, Sui Sui and MuMu continued on foot for several more kilometers before finally reaching the gates of Linfeng City. The city was bustling as usual, with cultivators and ordinary mortals coming and going through the wide entrance. Several guards stood on either side of the gates, checking the passing cultivators from time to time, while vendors nearby called out to attract customers.
Sui Sui led MuMu through the gates and headed straight toward the place where he had sold his pills previously. Since this was not his first time selling pills, he was better prepared than before. He had even made a small signboard in advance, so he wouldn’t have to spend time explaining his wares to every passerby. Once they found a suitable spot, Sui Sui took out a clean cloth, spread it neatly on the ground, and placed his pill bottles on top. He then propped up his signboard beside them, making sure the prices were clearly visible.
The signboard read:
High-Grade Fasting Pills — 100 Spirit Coins each
High-Grade Spirit Recovery Pills — 120 Spirit Coins each
High-Grade Vital Essence Pills — 120 Spirit Coins each
MuMu leaned closer to examine the signboard, his little head tilting from side to side as he tried to make sense of the writing, however as a kid that hasn’t learn how to read or write he doesn’t understand a thing. After staring at it for a while, he finally turned toward Sui Sui with a curious expression.
"What are you doing, Sui Sui?" he asked.
"I’m going to sell pills to earn Spirit Coins," Sui Sui explained as he arranged the bottles. "That way, I’ll have more money to buy the things we need."
"Spirit Coins?" MuMu repeated, apparently more interested in the unfamiliar term.
"That’s right. Spirit Coins are the money people use to buy things," Sui Sui explained patiently. He then glanced at the little beast and added, "They’re also what I use to buy your cakes."
The moment MuMu heard the word "cakes," his eyes lit up. He immediately bounced excitedly beside Sui Sui, his earlier curiosity about the signboard disappearing completely.
"Wow! Then go, go, Sui Sui! Earn lots of Spirit Coins so you can buy MuMu more cakes later!"
Sui Sui looked at him helplessly before reaching out to pat his round head. "Alright, alright. I’ll buy you more later, so stop rushing me. You really only think about cakes, don’t you?"
"Of course!" MuMu answered without the slightest hesitation, looking so proud of himself that Sui Sui couldn’t help laughing.
This time, Sui Sui had come much better prepared.
After spending the past few days refining pills, he had managed to build up a decent stock. He had prepared one hundred pills of each variety of the Fasting Pills, Spirit Recovery Pills, and Vital Essence Pills—for a total of three hundred pills packed into thirty bottles. This quantity all came from the from the herbs he had purchased in Linfeng City last time, while the rest had been harvested from the spiritual herb fields he had cultivated himself inside his private dimension.
It seemed that Sui Sui’s luck was pretty good this time. A few cultivators still remembered him from his visit to Linfeng City around two months ago, when he had sold a large number of High-Grade pills at reasonable prices.
Actually, what really happened is that after buying the pills last time, these people would sometimes visit here, hoping they can encounter the seller again, so the moment they spotted his familiar figure setting up a stall, several of them slowed down to take a closer look if it was really him because some people also came to this spot but it wasn’t actually the seller they were looking for.
This time, Sui Sui had also learned how to attract customers. Instead of waiting for people to approach him, he made sure his signboard was placed prominently beside the bottles, with the words "High-Grade Pills for Sale" written clearly across it. The moment the passersby noticed the sign, some immediately grew interested and gathered around his stall.
"Are those really High-Grade pills?" one cultivator asked, pointing at the bottles with a skeptical expression.
Sui Sui smiled politely. "Of course. Fellow Cultivator, you’re welcome to inspect them yourself. You can check their medicinal fragrance and purity before deciding whether to buy."
Hearing this, the cultivator picked up a bottle and carefully examined its contents. After opening it slightly, he was greeted by a rich medicinal fragrance. He took out one pill and inspected it with his spiritual sense, and his expression quickly changed when he confirmed its quality.
"They really are High-Grade!" he exclaimed, looking at Sui Sui with renewed interest. "I’ll take a bottle of Vital Essence Pills, please."
"Certainly!" Sui Sui replied, quickly handing over the bottle and accepting the payment.
His transaction immediately attracted the attention of the other cultivators nearby. Since someone had already verified the pills’ quality, the others were naturally more willing to give them a try.
"Then I’ll take a bottle of Spirit Recovery Pills!"
"Give me two bottles of Fasting Pills, please!"
"I want a bottle of Vital Essence Pills too. Are there any more left?"
Orders came one after another, and Sui Sui quickly became busy retrieving the requested bottles and collecting payment. He hadn’t expected business to pick up so quickly, but seeing the customers arrive one after another, he couldn’t help feeling pleased with himself.
MuMu, who had been watching from the side, soon decided that he could help too. He stood beside the stall, puffed out his little chest, and began enthusiastically advertising the pills to anyone who passed by.
"Come and buy pills! They’re all High-Grade! They’re good, they’re cheap, and you won’t regret buying them oh!"
His energetic shouting attracted even more curious onlookers. Some people stopped simply because they wanted to see what kind of spirit beast was making such a fuss, only to become interested in the pills after learning about their quality and prices.
With the word spreading through the surrounding streets, Sui Sui’s business grew increasingly lively. Some customers had bought his pills the previous month and returned because they had been satisfied with their quality, while others were newcomers who had heard about the stall from fellow cultivators or attracted by MuMu. Anyhow, the combination of High-Grade pills and reasonable prices was simply too attractive to ignore.
Before long, Sui Sui had sold all the pills he had brought with him.
Meanwhile, the shopkeepers at the nearby stores could only watch with envy. They had been sitting in their shops for days, patiently waiting for customers, yet this young cultivator had managed to sell out his entire stock in a surprisingly short time. However, it’s not like they can complain, after all, their pills were indeed not as good.
By the time the crowd finally dispersed, Sui Sui’s stall was completely empty. He looked at the empty stocks, then at the Spirit Coins he had earned, and couldn’t help smiling in satisfaction. This time, he earned around thirty-thousand spirit coins which was a lot more than his first one.
After packing up his belongings, Sui Sui was just about to leave when a man suddenly approached him and called out.
"Excuse me, Fellow Cultivator. Could I have a moment of your time?" the man asked politely.
