(BL) The Villain wants a Divorce!
Chapter 692: Different cultures, different references
They’d somehow turned the giant dragon into a giant blushing dragon. Once Edgar got his hands on him, or his words, Lucian was so red and embarrassed that Cass swore he was having a hard time controlling his form.
He swore he saw scales flicker across his skin, his eyes flickering and nictitating as well, and his fingers growing sharp before flickering back. The dragon was barely holding himself together and it was only made worse when Gideon and Edgar teamed up on him.
Lucian had sunk down onto the bench that Edgar was sitting on and Gideon made quick work of sitting next to him. Both of the friends leaned in close to him, a devil on each shoulder, and Cass watched on.
He was simply delighted that he wasn’t the only one who had to suffer at their hands. Maybe he was finding too much glee in the fact that Lucian was suffering because he didn’t rescue him until Lucian was basically pleading that Cass take pity on him.
Cass did save him, pushing Edgar off of Lucian until the vampire fell onto his back on the cushions. Cass knew he could have caught himself, but seeing the man lying there, pouting with his arms crossed and his legs curled at an odd angle made Cass grin.
"Come now, leave Lucy alone. Haven’t you had enough fun ganging up on me like this?" Cass asked. Lucy uncovered his face, a deep understanding for what Cass had gone through now, while Edgar and Gideon...
"No." Gideon said, taking the words from Edgar’s mouth. "Of course not. You react so sweetly when we tease you, and I had no idea that we could do the same to Lucy. I thought he had a rather hard shell to crack and I thought he liked compliments. I had no idea I could tease him like this." Gideon’s eyes were full with the same kind of lust for knowledge that made Cass shiver.
Lucian looked over at him, did a double take, and then slid a look towards Cass. He then scoffed and reached out to touch Gideon on the face, cupping his cheek.
"What? Are you trying to be a dragon, Gideon? What’s with this obsessive curiousity?" He teased. Gideon’s face flushed, but the look didn’t fade.
"Is my behaviour wrong?" He was asking the wrong man. Out of the three, he should not be asking Lucian of all people if his behaviour was acceptable. Cass and point, his answer.
"Not at all." Lucian answered easily. "As long as you know your limits." Lucian smiled, sliding a look towards Cass again. "Cass has made it clear that you have to be careful about the curiousity or else he’ll make you aware of how cold it is without his warmth." Cass scowled, putting his hands on his hips. He was making him out to be a bad guy when having boundaries was normal.
Edgar sat up and jumped on Lucian from behind, wrapping his arms around his neck and laughing as Lucian protested.
"No, Cass made it clear that you needed to stop thinking exclusively like a damn dragon and take into consideration his feelings. Gideon’s just a freak who likes answers." Edgar clarified, calling them both out. Gideon flushed, Lucy put his hands on top of Edgar’s and pulled him closer, and Cass watched them roughhouse with a smile on his face.
"All of you are correct." Cass said, drawing their attention towards him. "It’s okay to be curious about your partners. I think that’s normal, but you shouldn’t take it too far. Keeping up with me during my heat? Fine. Pushing me too far when I’m not in my heat? Not fine. Pushing Edgar too far at any time? Also not fine. He’s a delicate man and he needs special treatment." Cass said. Gideon and Lucian nodded as Cass spoke, while Edgar turned the colour of a tomato.
"Cass." Edgar protested, looking horrified, but Cass smiled, winked, and gave him a thumbs up.
"What? I’m just looking out for you. You like being able to take a rest and watch, and I would rather have you able to participate the whole time instead of being used, abused, and then tucked into bed to recover. Don’t you agree?" Cass asked and Edgar begrudgingly nodded.
"You could have said it a different way." He argued, and that was where he was right. Cass could have, no, should have put it a different way. That was on him.
"Sorry, Eddie. I should have." Cass agreed and Edgar looked conflicted, but didn’t say anything else. "As for the thinking properly and not being a damn dragon about everything, yeah, you did need a perspective change. Don’t be like Lucy and think ’mm, man. I must make mate. No care how other think.’" Cass tried to do a caveman impression but from the stunned, shocked, and slightly horrified expressions of the men in front of him, it did not work.
"Uh, what?" That was when Cass had the embarrassing realisation...they didn’t have cavemen here. They didn’t have the same history as him.
Sure, they had humans, and probably had different evolutions, but they didn’t have an understanding of what cavemen were. Cass had just done something without even considering that it was something that they might recognise. They could even be offended by what he’d done.
"I, oh god, fuck, I-" Cass had no idea what to say. He was shocked. How had he forgotten that? The others appeared to be in shock too, until Gideon’s face twitched, he coughed, and then he started laughing. Before anyone else did.
"Cass, was that a reference from where you’re from?" He asked, his green eyes glittering with warmth as he stared at him. Cass felt his body warm, embarrassment flooding his system. He dropped his gaze, unable to meet any of their eyes.
"I, uh...yes." Cass muttered. He didn’t hear him get up, but he felt someone approach before arms wrapped around him, hugging him gently.
"It’s okay. You’re allowed to do it. I think we were just surprised that was...what you did." Gideon murmured, holding him gently. Cass raised his arms slowly, holding onto his clothes. He dug his fingers in, clinging onto him carefully as his heart beat raced in his chest.
"That was...quite a thing to say." Edgar mumbled and Cass groaned. He pressed his face against Gideon’s chest, wanting to hide and run.
"Can we all just forget it? I fucking want the ground to swallow me up." Cass lamented.
"I would prefer if that didn’t happen." Lucian said mildly. "I would rather you not become a tree, thank you. We have quite a bit of life ahead of us, I would rather water you with my cum, not water." Cass’ face burned more and Gideon’s arms tightened around him.
"I would hate to agree with Lucian, but I would take care to tend to you if you did." Gideon said, sounding very serious. Cass groaned again, rubbing his forehead against his chest.
"Fucking hell, just...just kill me at this point." Cass muttered. Gideon’s grip tightened on him.
"No. I know you’re embarrassed, but please don’t make jokes like that. Please don’t say anything like that if you’re serious as well. I know I have very little ground to stand on when it comes to this conversation, but I mean it. Please, Cass, none of that." Cass frowned but couldn’t say anything against Gideon’s words.
He was right, of course. He probably shouldn’t say anything like that. Especially since it was Cass’ death that he was trying to prevent and Gideon had been...had been close to making that happen in the past.
"Sorry." Cass muttered. "I just...it’s embarrassing." Gideon let out a slow breath, squeezing Cass tighter after he did.
"That’s okay. I’m sure it is, but we’d never mock you for it."
"Gideon won’t." Edgar corrected. "But I might hold ’I must make mate’ against you for a while." He chuckled. "And Lucian, because it’s clear it was him you were making fun of." Cass burned.
"Edgar, please." Cass pleaded quietly and Edgar grumbled. A loud sigh left his lips as Cass remained pressed against Gideon’s chest, hiding from the others.
"Alright, enough of this." Lucian growled, getting to his feet. Gideon shuffled Cass to the side, making space for Lucian to stand up. "I don’t care if you were making fun of me, but I don’t like you being this embarrassed. Come on, a warm bath and some wine will make you feel better and we can put your embarrassing slip up behind us." Lucian said.
Wow. How considerate.
Cass pulled his head from Gideon’s chest, glancing at Lucian from around Gideon’s bicep and Lucian scowled.
"Come on. I want you all to check out the things I made for us. It will distract you from your embarrassment and once I have the oils and nice smelling things in the water, it’ll be a distant memory." Lucian gestured for the others to follow him towards the tub. Cass watched as the dragon flicked his longer hair over his shoulder, his ass swaying in his pants. He waved a hand and the taps turned and water started pouring into the tub.
Edgar and Gideon watched too, everyone still frozen as they watched Lucian walk away.
"Do you want to see me strip too? Will that help?" Lucian asked and Cass felt his face warm. Edgar, however, slid across the bench, lounging like a damn cat.
"Yes please." He purred, and Gideon swallowed so loud Cass could hear it.
"If you don’t mind." Gideon murmured. Cass clenched his hands tighter on Gideon’s clothes.
"If you want to." Cass grumbled and Lucian looked over his shoulder, his orange eyes bright.
"Well, if you insist." His body straightened and Gideon’s arms tightened around Cass as Lucian spun, his hands flying to the top of his pants where the shirt was tucked in. It also just so happened to be above his dicks.
Cass gave a soft gasp as he noticed how his cocks were straining against the fabric. Lucian chuckled.
"All it took was a few words from my favourite boys and I am ready to go." Cass felt his stomach flip. His favourite boys? It was as cute as it was dangerous.
