[BL] Obsessed with Him, Surrendered to His Voice
Chapter 93: My Future Husband Is So Handsome
Chapter 93: Chapter 93: My Future Husband Is So Handsome
~Reynold’s POV~
I picked up my slim leather briefcase. Neither of us needed to pack clothes; my main estate already had a fully stocked wardrobe for us both.
With everything ready, we left the bedroom together and descended the grand staircase.
Outside, the sleek black sedan was already waiting in the driveway, its engine running. As we stepped into the cool morning air, my driver immediately opened the rear passenger door. I stepped aside to let Reynold get in first, making sure he was settled comfortably before sliding in beside him.
The driver closed the door, returned to his seat, and pulled away.
As the vehicle glided onto the main road, Reynold shifted closer until his shoulder rested against mine. He tilted his head to look up at me, his eyes soft with curiosity.
"Daddy..." he murmured.
"Hmmm?" I answered, looking down at him.
He continued staring at me without saying a word, as though he were lost in thought. I held his gaze for a moment before raising an eyebrow.
"What is it, sweetheart? Is something wrong?"
He shook his head, a small amazed smile spreading across his face.
"Nothing. I was just thinking about how blessed you are."
I raised an eyebrow, amused by his sudden seriousness. "Oh? And what makes you say that?"
"Just look at you, Daddy!" Reynold turned toward me, counting on his fingers as he listed my qualities. "You’re ridiculously handsome, powerful, and rich. You’re tall, built like a fortress, and you have this commanding presence that makes everyone in the room shut up and listen to you. You’re just..." He paused, looking me up and down. "Perfect."
I laughed softly at his words, unable to hide my smile. The way he said it, as though he genuinely couldn’t find a single fault in me, was rather endearing.
I slipped an arm around his shoulders and drew him closer.
"Well, you’re just as blessed, my little pet," I murmured, leaning down until our noses brushed. "You’re exceptionally beautiful, tall, ridiculously cute, and you have the most kissable lips I’ve ever seen."
I watched his cheeks turn pink before adding with a playful smile, "And you’re already rich, thanks to me. You have access to my money, after all. But soon, you’ll have your own fortune, too. You’ll make your own money and be able to afford whatever you want without having to rely on mine."
Reynold let out a shy laugh and buried his face against my chest.
"Aww, Daddy, you’re so sweet."
I chuckled and tightened my arm around him, enjoying how easily I could make him blush. But when he lifted his head, he looked at me through his long lashes, a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
"Am I really that beautiful to you?"
"Extremely beautiful," I answered without hesitation. "Sometimes, I catch myself staring at you when you aren’t looking, simply because I can’t get enough of you."
His cheeks flushed deeper, and he broke into a bright smile before leaning up to kiss my cheek.
"Thank you, Daddy. You’re the best," he whispered. "You’re the most handsome man in my entire world. No one else comes close."
I smiled and pressed a kiss to the top of his head, holding him a little closer. "And you’re the most beautiful man in mine, sweetheart. There’s no one else for me."
He snuggled against me, and for a few minutes, we simply enjoyed being close, with nothing but the gentle hum of the engine filling the silence.
Then Reynold lifted his head and looked at me. "Daddy? Can I ask you something?"
"Of course, sweetheart. Ask me anything."
His gaze wandered over my white outfit before returning to my face. "Daddy, why do you wear white so much? Ever since I’ve known you, I swear, almost every outfit I’ve seen you wear has been white. I’m pretty sure ninety-five percent of your wardrobe is white. Don’t you ever get tired of it?"
I chuckled, smoothing the front of my jacket. "I have other colors, you know. I just prefer white because I look damn good in it. Simple as that."
Reynold burst out laughing and nodded enthusiastically. "That’s true. You look ridiculously hot in white, Mr. Corvin. My only man... my sugar daddy."
He suddenly stopped, his eyes widening as he realized what he’d just said. Then he leaned closer, his lips brushing my ear.
"No, wait. Not sugar daddy. My future husband," he whispered.
Warmth spread through my chest, and a smile crept across my face. I leaned down and pressed a firm kiss to his forehead.
Reynold beamed, clearly pleased with himself for managing to fluster me for once.
"All right, then," I murmured against his temple. "My little future husband."
He immediately puffed out his chest and pouted, glancing down at his cock. "Come on, Sunshine! I’m not little. I’m mighty! You’re just bigger than me right now, but I’m still growing."
I followed his gaze down his lean frame and chuckled, shaking my head. "I wasn’t talking about that, sweetheart. I meant your age and your body."
He stared at me for a moment before realization dawned on his face.
"Oh... my bad! But still, I’ll grow bigger than you eventually!"
"Whatever you say, sweetheart." I gave his side a gentle squeeze.
He giggled and settled against my shoulder again. We rode in comfortable silence for a little while before he spoke.
"I have another question."
"Go ahead."
"Do you have any siblings?" His voice grew thoughtful. "I’ve never heard you mention any brothers or sisters. You’re always the only one I hear people talk about, and I’ve never seen anyone mention your siblings. Are you the only child in the Corvin family?"
I fell quiet for a moment, running my fingers through his hair. "Why the rush, Reynold? You’ll meet my family soon enough, one by one. Telling you about them wouldn’t do them justice. Meeting them in person will answer your questions far better than anything I could tell you."
Reynold listened quietly before nodding. "All right, Daddy."
"Any other questions?" I asked.
He rested his head against my shoulder and wrapped both arms around mine. "For now, that’s all."
"All right, then," I murmured, resting my chin on top of his soft hair.
We settled into a comfortable silence, with Reynold still holding on to my arm as the car carried us down the highway. He seemed completely at ease beside me, and I was happy to let him enjoy the quiet.
After a long drive, the car finally turned off the main highway and approached a pair of massive wrought-iron gates bearing the Corvin family crest. As the gates opened, the estate came into view.
The sprawling stone manor stood behind beautifully manicured gardens, towering marble pillars, and cascading fountains. Tall windows reflected the afternoon sunlight, giving the grand residence an imposing, almost regal appearance.
Beside me, I felt Reynold tense.
His fingers, which had been resting loosely around my arm, tightened their grip. I glanced down at him and found him staring through the tinted window, his eyes wide with apprehension. He swallowed hard, clearly struggling to calm his nerves.
I covered his hand with mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Take a deep breath, sweetheart."
Reynold turned to me, his face already flushed with anxiety. "Frederick... this place looks like a palace. Are you sure they’re going to accept me? What if I say something wrong? What if—"
"Reynold," I interrupted gently, keeping my voice calm and firm.
I turned toward him and took both his hands in mine. "Look at me."
He raised his eyes to mine, and I could see the worry written all over his face.
"You’re walking into that house as my man, and I need you to be confident," I told him, holding his gaze. "My grandparents are sharp, and they’re traditional, but they love me. More importantly, they respect my choices. You don’t have to impress them or prove yourself to anyone. Just be the same sweet, bright boy you are when you’re with me. That’s all I want from you."
He let out a small breath, some of the tension leaving his shoulders. "You won’t leave my side?"
"Not for a single second." I leaned forward and pressed a lingering kiss to his forehead. "If anyone makes you uncomfortable, even someone in my own family, we’ll leave. You come first. Always."
Reynold exhaled shakily, and a small smile finally appeared on his face. "Okay. Okay, Daddy."
The car rolled to a smooth stop in front of the grand stone staircase leading to the main entrance. Two uniformed footmen approached at once, one heading toward my door while the other moved to Reynold’s side.
I straightened my suit jacket and adjusted my cuffs before turning to him. He smoothed down his red top, took one last deep breath, and gave me a determined nod.
"Ready?" I asked warmly.
"Ready," he whispered.
The door opened, and I stepped out into the afternoon air. Then I turned back and extended my hand into the car, ready to help my future husband out.
Reynold took my hand, and we walked toward the mansion with our fingers intertwined. I held his hand firmly in mine, feeling the slight tremor in his fingers as we approached the grand entrance.
The heavy mahogany doors closed behind us with a soft, authoritative thud, and we stepped into the quiet luxury of the Corvin family mansion.
High vaulted ceilings stretched overhead, adorned with intricate moldings and a magnificent crystal chandelier that caught the afternoon sunlight. The air carried the faint scents of old paper, polished rosewood, and fresh jasmine.
Reynold’s eyes darted around, taking in the towering portraits and sweeping double staircase, but he stayed close to me, his shoulder brushing my arm with every step. I gave his hand an encouraging squeeze.
"Deep breaths, sweetheart," I murmured...
