Chapter 92: Chapter 92: The Way He Drives Me Crazy

~Frederick’s POV~

He giggled before pulling back to look at me. "All right, so..." he began, his eyes bright with curiosity. "What’s on the agenda for today, Mr. Corvin?"

"First, breakfast," I replied, shifting us slightly so I could sit up against the headboard with him. "Then we’ll talk about your schedule, your studies, and getting ready for our visit to my grandparents."

Reynold’s eyes widened slightly at the mention of his studies. The sleepiness on his face gave way to determination.

"I’m going to hold up my end of the deal, Frederick. I’m going to work hard. I want to make you proud."

I looked at him, taking in the determination in his eyes. A quiet warmth settled in my chest.

"You already do," I told him, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him close. "Now, come on. Let’s get out of bed before I decide to keep you in here all day."

We finally got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. After changing into something comfortable, we went downstairs together.

As we entered the main foyer, the housemaid paused her work and bowed respectfully.

"Good morning, Mr. Corvin. Good morning, Sir Reynold."

Reynold smiled at her. "Good morning."

We walked side by side into the sunlit dining room. I pulled out Reynold’s chair and helped him sit down before taking my seat across from him. The housemaid soon served our breakfast, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee and toasted sourdough filled the room.

Reynold looked comfortable in his relaxed clothes. He was busy buttering a slice of toast, but every few seconds, his eyes wandered up to me before quickly returning to his plate.

I took a sip of my black coffee, watching him over the rim of my cup.

"If you keep staring at that toast like it’s a math problem, it’s going to turn into crumbs," I remarked, a faint smirk playing on my lips.

His head snapped up, and a light flush spread across his neck. "I’m not staring. I’m just thinking."

"About your studies?"

He set down his butter knife, his expression turning serious. "Yeah. About everything, actually." He hesitated before adding, "I’m also happy we get to sit down and eat together like this again."

I placed my cup on the table and rested my forearms on the marble surface.

"I’m happy too, sweetheart." I held his gaze. "Things are better between us now, and I believe they’ll only get better from here. Just focus on your studies, and let’s be honest with each other from now on. No more hiding things from one another."

He nodded, listening carefully.

"More importantly, I want you to think about what you want to do with your life beyond your studies. Is there a business you’d like to start, a career you want to pursue, or something else you’ve always wanted to do? I’ve asked you about this before, but I’m bringing it up again because I want you to have something of your own. In five years, when you finish your degree, I want you to be able to stand on your own two feet, confident in yourself and proud of what you’ve achieved. I want you to build a future for yourself, one you can look back on and know you earned through your own efforts."

A genuine smile spread across his face. "I’ll think about what I want to do, and I promise I won’t let you down with my studies either. I’m going to get top marks this semester." He paused, looking almost shy as he added, "I want you to be proud when people ask who I am."

"I’m already proud of you, sweetheart," I assured him.

Reynold leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. A playful spark returned to his eyes.

"So, if I get straight A’s this semester, what’s my reward, Mr. Corvin?"

I chuckled and reached across the table to give his wrist a gentle squeeze. "Get those straight A’s first, and then we’ll see how generous Daddy feels."

He giggled, his face turning crimson as he covered it with both hands and muttered something under his breath.

I burst out laughing, thoroughly enjoying how easily I could fluster him.

We returned to our breakfast and finished eating at a leisurely pace. Afterward, we stayed at the table for a while, enjoying the peaceful morning before finally getting up. Reynold slipped his hand into mine, and we walked hand in hand toward the stairs.

As we started climbing, he suddenly began humming a catchy tune, swinging our joined hands back and forth. He looked so happy that I found myself smiling without even realizing it.

I slowed down on the step below him, watching as he swayed to the music. When he caught me staring, his grin widened. He gave his hips a playful sway, then bent slightly and gave his ass a cheeky little twerk right in front of me.

I couldn’t help laughing.

"You’re a handful today, aren’t you?"

When we reached the top landing, Reynold turned to face me and started dancing to his own beat. He leaned in and gave me a quick, sweet kiss. Just as I reached to pull him closer, however, his hand darted between us and gave my cock a playful tap through my trousers.

"Huh—" I gasped, instinctively covering myself as I stared at him. "Baby..."

Before I could react, he was already running down the hallway, his laughter echoing off the walls.

"Catch me if you can, Daddy!" he called over his shoulder.

I shook my head, grinning as I chased after him. He ran straight into our master bedroom, his laughter carrying down the hallway.

When I stepped inside and closed the door behind me, I spotted him trying to hide behind it. I caught him around the waist and pulled him against my chest before he could escape.

We both burst into breathless laughter, the ridiculous chase making us feel like a couple of teenagers.

’Got you,’ I murmured, turning him around and giving his rear a quick, playful spank.

"Ouch, Daddy!" he gasped, his jaw dropping in exaggerated shock as though I’d seriously offended him.

My smirk disappeared immediately. Concern replaced my amusement as I loosened my grip and searched his face.

"I’m sorry, sweetheart. Did that hurt? I didn’t mean to hit you that hard—"

The moment Reynold noticed the genuine concern on my face, he dropped the act. He stuck his tongue out at me cheekily before slipping out of my arms and dashing toward the bed.

"All right, all right! I don’t want to see that worried face!" he called, laughing as he flopped onto the mattress.

I stared after him for a moment before shaking my head with an amused chuckle and following him.

The moment I reached the bed, he grabbed a decorative pillow and hurled it at me. I caught it and threw it right back, starting a pillow fight that quickly got out of hand. We tossed pillows at each other across the mattress, laughing until we could barely catch our breath. I finally managed to tackle him onto the bed, gently pinning his wrists beside his head.

"All right, that’s enough," I murmured, leaning down to kiss the tip of his flushed nose. "We need to get ready if we’re going to leave early."

He looked up at me through his dark lashes, a playful smile tugging at his lips.

"Okay, Daddy."

We finally untangled ourselves and walked hand in hand into the spacious walk-in closet. I changed into a crisp white suit with the jacket left open over my bare chest, paired with matching white trousers and polished white shoes. Reynold chose a fitted red short-sleeved top tucked into high-waisted white trousers, completing his look with white shoes with black accents.

Once we were both dressed, Reynold grabbed his phone and pulled me in front of the full-length bedroom mirror.

"Picture time, Mr. Corvin!" he announced.

He had us pose for one couple picture after another. In one, I stood behind him with my arms around his waist, my chin resting on his shoulder as he smiled at the camera. For another, I turned my head at the last moment and kissed his cheek, catching his laughter in the picture.

Then, without warning, Reynold propped his phone on the dresser, turned on some music, and started dancing in front of me.

I crossed my arms and put on my stern expression, pretending to be unimpressed by his antics. But he only moved closer, swaying his hips to the beat and winking at me until I finally gave in and burst into laughter, pulling him against me.

After our little photo session, Reynold turned his attention to packing. He carefully gathered his laptop, iPad, phone charger, textbooks, and class handouts for Wednesday. Since he would be heading straight to campus from my main estate, he made sure he had everything he needed for his studies.

I picked up my slim leather briefcase. Neither of us needed to pack clothes; my main estate already had a fully stocked wardrobe for both of us.

With everything ready, we left the bedroom together and descended the grand staircase. Outside...
