Chapter 134: Chapter 134: The Past Can Wait Until Tomorrow

~Third- POV~

The intense squeeze pushed Frederick straight over the edge. Holding Reynold’s waist tight, he rasped against his ear.

"Do you want it inside, sweetheart? Should I cum inside you?"

"Yes, please... cum inside me, Daddy!" Reynold pleaded, voice breaking.

With a low, guttural roar, Frederick thrust in one last time and held himself buried to the root, pouring his thick, hot release deep inside Reynold. His body shuddered through every heavy pulse, hips jerking forward to drive every drop as deep as it would go.

When the last spasm finally faded, Frederick collapsed forward onto Reynold’s back and wrapped his arms securely around his waist as both of them sank into the mattress, breathing hard in the quiet bedroom.

Frederick remained pressed against Reynold’s back for a while, trailing soft, tender kisses over his warm, sweat-glistening shoulder.

"You did so well, Reynold," Frederick murmured against his skin, his voice deep and full of adoration. "Every time we have sex, you always take everything so well... but tonight was incredible. I loved your energy."

Reynold chuckled softly, a tired but triumphant smile touching his lips as he buried his face deeper into the pillow. "I learned from the best, Daddy... all thanks to you."

Frederick smiled, pressing one last kiss to the curve of Reynold’s neck. They remained together in quiet intimacy for a few more minutes before Frederick carefully pulled out, drawing a soft gasp from Reynold.

They lay still for a moment, catching their breath. Then Frederick stood, gathered Reynold securely in his arms, and carried him into the ensuite bathroom.

He ran a warm bath and gently washed away the remnants of their passionate night. They showered together, letting the warm water soothe their aching muscles. Afterward, they dried off with plush white towels, changed into matching silk pajamas, and returned to the bedroom.

They climbed back under the heavy duvet. The moment Frederick settled against the headboard, Reynold instinctively shifted closer and rested his head on Frederick’s chest.

He lifted his left hand, admiring the sparkle of his new engagement ring under the soft ambient light. A sweet, contented smile spread across his face before he leaned up and pressed a gentle kiss to Frederick’s chest.

Frederick wrapped an arm around him, stroking his hair as they talked softly, exchanging quiet promises and laughing gently about the wild events of the night.

Suddenly, the low, sharp buzz of Frederick’s phone vibrating against the nightstand cut through the peaceful silence.

Frederick reached out, stretching his long arm to grab the device. He glanced at the screen, his eyes narrowing slightly when he saw the text notification. The sender’s name appeared: Eva.

Reynold caught a glimpse of the name on the illuminated screen but immediately looked away, lowering his gaze to his engagement ring and pretending he hadn’t noticed.

Frederick hesitated. His first instinct was to ignore the message completely. He didn’t want anything ruining their first night as an engaged couple. But he knew Reynold had seen the name, and the last thing he wanted was to create even the slightest doubt or secrecy between them.

Deciding to be completely open, Frederick unlocked his phone and opened the message, expecting another subtle threat or some form of toxic manipulation from Eva.

To his surprise, it was a long, desperate paragraph.

Frederick, please, I need you to hear me out. I know I have no right to ask you for anything after everything I’ve done, but I’m begging you to read this and understand that I am genuinely sorry.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my actions, and I can finally see how terribly I’ve treated you. I regret the way I hurt you, the things I said and did, and the way I kept forcing myself into your life when you made it clear you wanted nothing to do with me. I know I cannot undo any of it, but I wish I could.

I know what you’re planning to do, and I won’t pretend I don’t understand why. I brought this upon myself, and I have no one to blame but me. But please, Frederick, I’m begging you not to destroy my reputation completely. I’m not asking you to consider what we once had, nor am I trying to use our daughter to change your mind. I know I’ve lost the right to do that. I’m only asking you to remember that there was a time when things were different between us, and I wasn’t always the person I’ve become.

If cutting me off is what you want, then do it. Take back the allowance, the properties, the privileges, and everything else you’ve provided for me. I won’t argue, and I won’t ask you for another penny. I am prepared to walk away from all of it.

But I still want the chance to become a better person. More than anything, I genuinely want to be a mother to our daughter someday. I know I have a long way to go, and I don’t expect you to trust me or welcome me back into her life immediately. If that day ever comes, I’ll accept whatever boundaries you put in place and do whatever it takes to prove that I’ve changed.

I’m not asking you to forgive me, Frederick. I know I haven’t earned that. I’m only asking you to spare my reputation. Please don’t destroy everything I’ve worked so hard to build. I know I deserve to face the consequences of my actions, but I’m begging you not to take everything away from me.

Please, Frederick. I’m asking you one last time. I really want to meet Lily. Please, give me a chance to see my daughter. I won’t rush you or pressure you into making a decision. I just want you to know how much it would mean to me to finally meet her.

Frederick read through the long message slowly, his expression unreadable. The tone was completely stripped of Eva’s usual arrogance. It sounded like someone who had finally realized she had backed herself into a corner, with nowhere left to run.

Beside him, Reynold read every word over Frederick’s shoulder, taking in the desperation behind Eva’s plea. When he finished, he simply closed his eyes, pretending he hadn’t seen anything. Then he wrapped his arms tightly around Frederick’s waist and buried his face against his chest.

Frederick glanced down at him. He knew Reynold had seen the message, but neither of them said anything.

Whatever happens with her, it can wait until tomorrow, he thought.

Without replying, Frederick locked his phone and placed it face-down on the nightstand. Then he wrapped both arms around Reynold, pulling him closer...
