Soon, senior high-ranking grim reapers were called by the Judge who officially issued an order to annihilate the devils and demons who’s trying to break the balance of the world. As for No. 22, he was nowhere to be found, he heard that his mission is something deeply mysterious and confidential so it was not in doubt that he was still there away here.

No. 444 together with Yin went along with several colleagues. The latter told him about the usual habits of devils so Yin will guide them to some places that he knew. There are not only the devils but there will be monsters along the way and since they also have junior grim reapers tagging along, they’ve decided to also let them take this opportunity to practice.

"Senior No. 444, it’s an honor for us that you came," A Senior grim reaper strode towards him with a polite smile on his face. He also looked at the devil beside him and his smile went wider. "Especially after learning that it’ll be Yin himself who also offers a hand."

His expression remained steady and he nodded. "Don’t worry, nothing will happen." He was assuring them. He knew that those words were also implying how he could trust a devil himself to go somewhere with an intention to kill his own kind?

"Mm," Yin said yes. He indeed planned to go to the place where a certain devil comes to mind. "It’s the she-devil named Yue. She had long been persuading me to disrupt the balance of the human world. I think she’s an accomplice."

He paused. "That’s good. Is your relationship with her not good?"

Yin sneered. "There’s no relationship between any of us." They’re just a bunch of monsters who’re eager to be more powerful, not only to prove their arrogance and pride but also to satisfy the greed inside them. There was no friendship nor any warmth in their kind, only a shallow alliance if faced with the same enemy— like this. If it’s in the past, the two would definitely temporarily create an alliance to face grim reapers, yet even so that alliance would always face betrayal any second so he learned not to face any side without guard.

He experienced it countless times when he had no choice as he was weak so he did all matters to gain enough strength to fight by himself.

No. 444 heard his words and to his surprise, he saw the man lean a bit and spoke to him in a low voice. "Don’t worry. This is the chance to get back to her. I’ll help you."

He thought that there would be no reaction yet the little excitement in his heart proves that the never ending fights back then was never just because it’s a responsibility but also something that he really likes.

He was slightly delighted and turned towards where he last saw Yin. He wanted to say something but the words that were about to leave were abruptly halted when he saw something.

The expression on his face turned cold, his grip on his sword also tightened. His face flashed with different emotions before he turned his face away with force. He didn’t say anything and just instead turned towards the enemies around. But this time, the way he fights carries aggressiveness and cruelty, as if the little joy he felt didn’t exist earlier.

"No. 444!" Some seniors notice the sudden changes of his temperament and quickly call for him. He also came back to his senses and slowed his action.

"Ah Si," Yin was fast to get close to him and grab his arm. "What happened to you?"

He flinches but his expression turns calm as he removes the man’s hand, also not minding the latter turned stiff at his action. "Nothing, I just want to end this faster." He turned to others and assured them. "Seniors, my apology."

"No. 444, calm down."

Si sighed. "Yes."

"What are you doing?!" Yin’s attempt to call him was interrupted when they heard a furious shout from somewhere. The fight halted and they saw a woman with large horns on her head flying towards them

Her face is very breathtaking and beautiful. She was wearing deep red ancient clothes with golden jewelries on her head, her sleeves swaying with the wind. Her temperament is very seductive with elegance yet because the expression on her face was livid, it somehow disrupted that temperament.

She’s the she-devil named Yue.
