The new knowledge was more interesting than Kei had thought.

At first, he assumed the supplementary lessons would just be a painful stretch of time. But once the teacher began explaining, Kei quickly realized that this knowledge was not as useless as he had imagined.

The principles of motion, the composition of matter, the way energy transfers from one place to another... All of it reminded Kei of the fundamental laws of magic, yet it was explained in detail through practical theories from research.

It was just that in his old world, those laws were called by different names.

Even for a mage, this new knowledge was extremely practical and precious!

Kei lowered his head, continuously taking notes in his notebook. His fingers moved so fast that the pen nearly became a blur.

"Student, please slow down a bit. You do not need to write down everything the teacher says."

The teacher looked at him with a helpless expression.

"But what if I miss something?"

Kei raised his head and asked the teacher seriously.

"This knowledge can help me better understand how materials react with each other. So I have to write it all down!"

Hearing this, the teacher awkwardly explained:

"This is only an introductory lesson."

"Introductions are also very important."

The teacher was silent for a moment, then nodded with emotion:

"You have a very good learning attitude, keep it up."

Kei did not reply. He simply lowered his head and continued writing.

There was a time when he thought he understood everything in the world. Magic, formations, items, herbs... as long as he had enough time, Kei believed he could study it all.

But this world had taught him a lesson.

Knowing much does not mean knowing everything, knowledge is infinite.

Until the last lesson ended, Kei was still happily jotting down the knowledge he had just learned into his notebook.

He did not notice at all that the students around him had gradually left the classroom, until a soft hand gently patted Kei on the shoulder.

He startled and turned his head to look beside him.

Kang Narim was standing beside him, smiling as she looked at him. Her blonde hair reflected the late daylight, making her seem to glow.

"Oppa, do you still want to keep studying?"

"Yeah." Kei looked at the notebook in his hand. "I want to remember what I learned today."

"Then let us exchange contact numbers."

Narim took out her phone and held the screen toward Kei.

"We will be classmates for a long time. If Oppa does not understand the lesson, I can help you."

Kei was slightly taken aback.

During today’s lesson, Narim had shown him quite a few things. She explained difficult concepts in simpler ways, and even patiently corrected the places Kei had written down wrong.

Kei was truly grateful to her, and also curious why someone like Kang Narim would take supplementary lessons here.

"Okay."

He took out his phone and exchanged contact numbers with Kang Narim.

As soon as the screen showed the notification that the contact had been added, the smile on Narim’s lips became even happier.

"So from today on, we are friends."

"Yeah."

Kei nodded, then carefully put his phone into his pocket.

Narim tilted her head and looked at him.

"Are you going back to the shop now, Oppa?"

"Yes."

"Can I come along? I heard that Oppa runs a shop selling items for hunters. I really want to take a look."

Kei saw no reason to refuse.

"Sure."

The two of them left the classroom together.

On the way, Narim kept asking about the shop, about the items Kei was selling, and about his life in Dong-San city. Kei answered each question patiently.

He did not realize that Narim’s clear golden eyes were always following him, and the smile on her lips had never disappeared.

When the two returned to the shop, Kim Sora was standing behind the counter taking inventory of the items just sold.

The door opened, Sora raised her head, about to smile and greet a customer as usual.

Then, Kim Sora froze.

Kei was walking beside a beautiful girl.

Not only was she extremely beautiful, the girl also had shining blonde hair and golden eyes as clear as crystal. She walked close beside Kei, walking while happily chatting with him, she seemed extremely close.

Sora gaped.

"Kei..."

Kei ignored Kim Sora’s strange expression. He pointed inside the shop.

"This is my shop. And this is Kim Sora, the person helping me manage this place, and it’s thanks to her care that my daily life is taken care of."

"Hello." Narim smiled at Kim Sora.

Sora also hurriedly nodded.

"Hello."

But her small hand had quietly crept toward her phone.

She had to immediately text Moon So Yeon and Do Ae Young, because... because Kei had brought a beautiful girl back to the shop!

This was a big deal that could even turn half of Dong-San city into rubble!

Just as Sora’s finger touched the phone, a gaze suddenly swept over. Narim’s golden eyes, transparent as crystal, were intently watching her.

Sora’s hand froze midair.

Narim stepped closer, her smile facing Kim Sora still as gentle as before.

"Hello Miss Kim Sora, I’m Kang Narim. I’m Oppa’s classmate, we just met today at the cram school."

Sora’s whole body twitched. She blinked once, and the hand holding the phone gently dropped down.

"Yes..."

Sora nodded at Narim, her face blank as she replied:

"Hello. Nice to meet you."

Narim smiled gently, then turned back and walked toward Kei to continue chatting with him.

"Oppa, there are so many items here."

"Yeah. If you want to look, I can introduce each type."

Kang Narim heard this and nodded excitedly.

"Okay."

The two quickly continued chatting, while Kim Sora stood behind the counter, staring blankly at their backs.

After a while, Kim Sora suddenly snapped back to her senses. She looked down at the phone in her hand, then frowned and scratched her head.

"What was I about to do just now?"

Sora thought for a long time.

But for some reason, she completely couldn’t remember the feelings and thoughts she had just now when she saw Kei return with his new acquaintance.
