But the senior commanders of the noble corps couldn’t advance a step in front of the Golden Guards, and instead were gradually compressed in their attack space by these skillfully coordinated Golden Guards.

Buzz,

Two towering Golden Guards on either side of the city wall passage wielded their long sabers, the crescent blades of their enchanted horse-slaying heavy blades almost completely enveloped by ion-like radiance.

Under the tremendous power of the Imperial Guard Warriors, it reached a cutting effect surpassing the speed of sound, the residual shadow of the hundreds of pounds heavy blade resembling a magnificent crescent moon, directly severing the weapons, armor, and flesh of a row of noble corps warriors in front of them.

Flesh and weapons pieces clattered to the ground, then were trodden upon by steady steps.

In front of these noble corps warriors, the weapons of the Imperial Golden Guards are no less formidable than the claws and teeth of a Giant Dragon because they face the same inevitable result.

“Damn, fall back, fall back, long spear formation and heavy shield formation step forward,” a Holy Sanctuary Knight commander shouted orders loudly, discarding the broken long spear in his hand, retreating into the protection of the legion warriors.

In front of these noble warriors, the trio of Golden Guards appeared immovable, the central Imperial Guard Warrior holding a heavy energy counterattack shield, advancing forward.

The Golden Guards on either side were responsible for attacking and defending the flanks, these Imperial Guards in the noble corps warriors’ eyes being as terrifying as the magic warriors versed in both magic and martial arts, especially the Power of Heart Energy practiced by the Imperial Guards, which was as secretive and baffling as Psychic Energy and Mind Magic, hard to resist.

Facing a lone ordinary Imperial Guard Warrior, a Holy Sanctuary Knight could rely on their reflexes and strength to defeat the guard, as relying on heavy armor is always less skillful and free than relying on one’s own strength.

But against the orderly coordination of the guards, even the powerful knights of the sanctuary couldn’t easily withstand their sharpness.

Each group of ten guards was split into independent attack formations of three.

Three guards spanned the left section exit of the watchtower, blocking the contact between the watchtower command point and the city defense section noble corps warriors, while another three guards blocked the right section exit point of the watchtower, disconnecting the mutual cooperation.

The Captain of the Decurion led the remaining three guards responsible for dealing with the caster team in the watchtower stronghold and the commanders and warriors within.

The division of tasks was precise, the plans meticulous, completely preventing the noble corps warriors from capitalizing on their numerical advantage.

If the Golden Guards were akin to powerful warriors harboring magic, then the Thunder Corps of the Storm Giants was truly a fusion of spells and strength as demon warriors.

Storm Giant Garcia’s eyes unleashed storms and lightning, the pallid thunder-light and grim storm blossoming unprecedented brilliance on the giant’s steel fork.

BOOM,

What should have been a booming thunder in the sky now reverberated and spread on the ground, thick thunder-light splattered aimlessly like branches of ancient trees on the city walls, even the Holy Sanctuary Great Knights dared not face this giant’s Thunder Power directly.

“Die in your repentance, you sinners who dare defy the Emperor!”

The forefront long spear shield formation was instantly shattered by a storm giant Garcia and other giants’ magic, heavy shields and long spears falling, pervading with the aroma of scorched flesh, yet no blood was spilled.

Storm Giant Garcia led his giants to charge into the noble corps, the overwhelming barrage of arrows unable to halt these rampaging giants.

And behind these giants lay the battered watchtower marked with scorched lightning trails and the field strewn with ashes.

However, even as the Golden Empire and the corps of Kings coordinated seamlessly, several city defense strongholds remained unconquered, continuing to wield powerful deterrence.

Within the stronghold of the united noble corps, several legendary level powerhouses commenced the unfolding of their own brilliance.

As a legendary caster, Reito exhibited an astonishingly disruptive presence in a domain where Magic Elements were unprecedentedly abundant.

Nearly all the main stronghold’s magic power was summoned and controlled by this legendary Mage, massive whirlwinds of Magic Elements revolving around him like a tornado.

These giant Magic Element whirlwinds awaited the commands of this legendary Mage.

Many Mage through arduous training and research mastered techniques of instant spellcasting, dual spellcasting, silent casting on spells they excelled at.

And legendary level Mage even more so, any mastered spells, unless overly complex, could spontaneously generate magical effects with the legendary caster’s intent.

Moreover, the Magic Staff in Reito’s hands, the Magic Robe he wore, the rings on both hands, the Pendant Necklace on his chest, were all magic-enhanced Secret Treasures.

The Magical Treasures possessed and utilized by the legendary caster largely depended on the intents of these legendary Mages.

In meditation, the functions of these Magical Treasures worn by the Great Mage inclined towards concentration, calmness, protection, and the expansion of thought.

But at this moment, all Magical Treasures including the staff in Reito’s hand were enhancing his spellcasting concentration and efficiency, enhancing Magic Effectiveness.

The legendary caster’s personal wealth also supported such endeavors.

Facing the hit from the spell torrents of three dragons in the sky, this legendary caster didn’t even need to deploy any powerful spells.

Reito merely raised his Magic Staff inlaid with a monumental gemstone, and a trickle of energy from the surrounding elemental magic whirlwinds blended into the effects of the legendary caster’s magic.

Before the terrifying spell torrents in the sky descended on the spell-protecting shields of the watchtower stronghold, layers of portals like illusory gates of space jump nodes abruptly opened.

These layers of illusory gates distorted the structure and distance of space under the legendary caster’s command, and then appeared behind the surprised faces of the dragons in the sky.

Then several dragons were struck down by their own spell torrents and overwhelming power from behind, completely unprepared and unexpected.

“A true Mage never seeks the potency of spells; on this point, I share the same view as the Dragon Emperor of the Golden Empire,”

The legendary caster Reito even had the leisure to instruct his student, telling the apprentice by his side: “Mages tend to regard everything and every event in the world as issues, Mages need only use knowledge and magic to find ways to resolve these issues and events, rather than pondering the so-called strength and power.”

“If you can solve tenfold challenges with onefold strength in the future, you might cross the threshold into becoming a legendary caster!”

In Reito’s discourse, layers of portals opened, continuously forming an unending cycle, the dragons that were struck by their own spells now fell through these portals like circus performers perpetually leaping through fiery hoops.

And the legendary Mage Reito achieved this without expending a shred of magic from his body, merely relying on the Elemental Magic Power drawn from the activated Magic Nodes.

“But remember, Mages are never rash individuals, just like my current situation, I could kill these dragons,”

“Which would coincide with the interests of those nobles but doesn’t align with my personal interests, for it means I would irrevocably make a blood feud with the Golden Empire,”

“With Karon Gogomola in Aikania, those dragons are no longer monsters for hunting at will; they have backing, and a formidable leader.”

“In the future, wherever you journey in the Plane World, always remember not to easily forge blood feuds with others!”

Grand Mage Reito instructed his disciple while summoning Magic Puppets and small-scale Clay Golem Guard Legions.

He also unfurled a scroll, swiftly opening channels to adjacent otherworldly planes, curious and strange otherworldly creatures poking heads through these passages, starting to peek outside.

“Why are you standing there? Come out and protect me!” Reito stamped his staff, loudly commanding.
