So Centaur Kali said impatiently, "Yeah yeah, I got it," striding in massive steps toward the detected target area.

The urgent warning tone burst out at once. "Attention, attention, enemy attack from the rear right. According to analysis..."

Bang,

The gigantic Golem instantly stomped and pivoted, the Magic Core within its body erupting with a surge of power that pushed the whole Golem’s strength to its normal output threshold. That thick, long iron anchor clanged as it swatted a juvenile Giant Dragon leaping from a rooftop, slapping his entire body flying.

The juvenile Giant Dragon’s body was nowhere near as sturdy as this City-Breaking Golem’s weapon; he was smacked straight into a door pillar, then crashed to the ground, unable to climb back up in a short time, his four limbs stiffly clawing at the ground.

The Golem slowly raised its left arm, the thick Magic Power Pulse Cannon gradually lighting up, strands of energy circuitry flaring to life inside the Golem’s body.

"Warning, warning! Warning, warning!"

"War" issued a red data alert and a stern voice. "The target before you no longer possesses the ability to resist again. Target is a juvenile White Dragon, currently listed by the Imperial as temporarily non-executable for destruction."

"The destructive output of your Magic Power Pulse Cannon has already reached the threshold for annihilating the target. Cease your violation immediately. Although I cannot forcibly prevent your actions and will, I will faithfully record this incident in the main brain!"

"Tch!"

This was not only Centaur Kali’s disdainful click of the tongue, but also the sound of the Magic Power Pulse Wrist Cannon. A thin Magic Power pulse beam flashed to life and shot out.

The slender Magic Power beam was highly condensed, carrying Enchanted light that pierced with ease through the Magic-protected Scale Armor on the White Dragon’s body, punching through the limbs of the juvenile Giant Dragon whose head had been violently struck and stunned, completely crippling this young Giant Dragon’s mobility.

"Got it!" Centaur Kali replied carelessly, charging toward other targets.

In this vast city, there were not only the test-drive-type City-Breaking Golem piloted by Centaur Kali and the many Golem Legions controlled and ridden by Heroic Spirits descended from the Giant Dragon Hall.

There were also batches of Alchemy creature legions, under legion commanders’ leadership, gradually sweeping the Mad Dragons in the city according to orders from the Imperial command center in the sky, carrying out humanitarian-style total annihilation of those opportunists taking advantage of the chaos.

Buzz, buzz, buzz,

Several massive Enchanted Armor-Piercing Crossbow Arrows directly pierced through the wings and hind limbs of two adult Giant Dragons, transfixing their bodies.

Mad Dragons suppressed by the vast Barrier could not rely on their Scale Armor and bodies alone to withstand attacks from the Golden Empire’s heavy defensive weapons.

Yet before the tremendous Life Force of these Giant Dragons, such grievous injuries still were not fatal; they only stripped these frenzied Beasts of their ability to move.

In the Royal Capital, many of the Colorful Dragons present were in their adolescent phase; there were very few adult Colorful Dragons, because once they reached youth, these Colorful Dragons would become extremely inflated and roam about seeking their own independent territories.

By the time they became adult Giant Dragons, most Colorful Dragons possessed a domain of their own.

Among the adult Giant Dragons appearing in the Royal Capital, more than half were Metal Dragons, Gem Dragons, Sub-Dragons, and some Strange Dragons that hid their true faces.

However, once these powerful adult Giant Dragons tried to take to the sky, they would draw the fire of the Giant Crossbows and Heavy Cannons on the city walls.

There were also Elf archer battle-groups and mixed long-range shooting units darting across the aerial archways, subduing those rampaging Giant Dragons one by one.

In every district of the city, Golden Empire Legion Warriors were deployed in formation to hunt these Beasts, while Devil and Demon Warriors flew at low altitude, eliminating their assigned targets.

The massive Giant Wolf Fenrir also bounded and leapt through the city’s streets and alleys, working with nearby Warriors to subdue one Giant Dragon after another.

Giant Dragons whose Magic Effectiveness had been suppressed by the Barrier could not resist the Golden Empire’s power, especially in front of the Empire’s Giant Dragon Lords.

The sky was filled with Thunder and Lightning accompanying Thunder Doss. This enraged young male Blue Dragon’s colossal body prowled above the city.

He calmly split his concentration, issuing his own commands to the Imperial aerial command center above the city while at the same time drawing the Thunder and Lightning from the sky into his claws, sweeping his gaze over the scenes within the city.

This was Thunder Lord Doss, a skill honed in him by Ancestral Red Dragon Kalon Gogomola. Doss had never taken pride in it, for in his eyes it had always been something forced upon him.

But today, his ability made Blue Dragon Doss feel deeply proud.

An adult Gray Dragon, Naluo, roared as he bounded across buildings, pouncing toward those Imperial security guards.

Crackle,

Blazing Thunderbolt turned into a Javelin of fate, unstoppable as it shot from Thunder Lord Doss’s claws.

The oncoming danger triggered the Beast instinct of the pouncing adult Gray Dragon Naluo, who twisted midair, but this blazing Thunder Spear was like an Arrow shot from the Destiny Longbow of the legendary Elf Main God—utterly unerring. It pinned the adult Gray Dragon Naluo in midair, then nailed him down onto the avenue.

Under the Barrier’s blessing over the Royal Capital, Blue Dragon Doss’s power surged to unprecedented heights. The condensed Thunder Spear was nearly solid, firmly staking the adult Gray Dragon in place.

"Rrroar, I can’t hold on much longer,"

Scarred Dragon Roka swatted down a young Giant Dragon, his eye sockets baring with fury as he let out a roar toward the White Dragon Saclese ahead.
