Beneath the Red Dragon
Chapter 827 - 140: The Advent of the End (Part 2)
Nagamata was controlled by the hidden-faced Death God, destroying an ancient mysterious magic organization called Betis, and seized the knowledge scroll from this magic organization, the Nether Scroll, written with the golden skin of the Cosmic Giant Snake.
And the golden skin of the Cosmic Giant Snake was once written and woven by this ancient Death God to manipulate and influence the mysterious magic organization Betis.
It seems quite strange, doesn’t it? Indeed, it is very strange.
Over the long passage of time, these lofty divine spirits have a level of boredom beyond the imagination of mortal beings, and their secret struggles and conspiratorial battles are not inferior to any court in the mortal world, even far surpassing the complexity of earthly courts.
These divine spirits can conspire against each other for some superficial ’face’, or pause their disputes in the face of actual interests and collaborate together.
Just like the relationships between civilized realms.
Perhaps the tests and trials in the eyes of the divine spirits, pressed upon the bodies and shoulders of mortals, are burdens too heavy for life to bear.
The various Dragon Kings of the Golden Empire and Karon Gogomola were not aware of the true secrets and truths within, but they withstood the trials.
The initial chaos was abrupt because no one could have predicted that something like the Dragon Madness Lock would descend here and now.
Thanks to the empire’s traditional architectural style, those frenzied giant dragons did not possess the power to easily destroy the structures of the Royal Capital.
The large buildings purely constructed from volcanic rocks and hard boulders could withstand these berserk beasts’ attacks for a short period, as these beasts have forgotten that they still possess the power of magic.
And under the activation and suppression of the entire city defense barrier, these giant dragons could only rely entirely on their own strength, finding it difficult to invoke the magic effectiveness of the world’s existence externally.
The innocent victims who perished were mostly unlucky individuals unable to respond in time to the disaster that descended instantly.
However, by the time the true legion of the Golden Empire was deployed to the Royal Capital, and the rapid response legion entered the Royal Capital, the chaos was already beginning to be contained.
When the Dragon Kings and Lords guarding other large cities of the Golden Empire arrived, the chaos in the Royal Capital was suppressed.
Thud, thud, thud.
The gigantic City-Breaking Golem, controlled by the heroic spirit of the fallen Centaur Kali, strode unhindered across the Empire’s Second District avenue.
Its towering body was entirely constructed from mountain steel alloy, more solid than the scale armor of ordinary giant dragons, hardly destructible.
Especially with a thick magic energy shield shimmering around the body of this City-Breaking Golem, blocking all the breath attacks of those insane dragons.
Clang, clang,
The sound of massive steel dragging on the hard floor, shooting sparks and lightning all the way, as a massive anchor-like weapon was dragged forward by this towering City-Breaking Golem.
In the pair of pupils engraved with blazing magic crystals flowed dense streams of information, akin to a magic detection matrix pulsating with images of the surroundings.
The voice of the Magic Intelligent Main Brain sounded, "Heading at 120 degrees, 230 meters away, behind the ’Beauty and the Snake’ tavern, two non-destructive hostile targets detected, analysis shows they are two adolescent Green Dragons, attempting to breach the building defenses of Imperial citizens..."
Utilizing the magic detection eye combined with the Thought Machine and humanoid computer from the Dune World, as well as the Aikania native magic civilization-constructed detection auxiliary brain, its function emulates the array-controlled radar.
It possesses a series of functions including recognition, tracking, judgment, and locking, connected to the dome defense control system of the Empire, enhancing the strength of the intelligent auxiliary main brain equipped on this City-Breaking Golem, allowing for farther and more detailed detection.
These somewhat innovative applications of magic technology are merely a part of Karon Gogomola’s past memories.
But for the existence of this Dragon Emperor, the Golden Empire must implement his thoughts and will, regardless of the consumption of resources and time.
Whatever Karon Gogomola wants to achieve, the Golden Empire will pour all its strength to achieve the intended effect.
Thanks to over a decade of uninterrupted public education by the Empire, a large number of qualified grassroots talents have emerged in the Golden Empire during this period, enabling the integration of each civilization’s knowledge and ideas so closely.
Among the list of the Golden Empire’s ’Wise Kings,’ there are already as many as one hundred and sixty, and the combination of these magic technology ideas was completed by the magic scholar ranked one hundred and fifty-eight in the final step.
And the intelligent main brains and detection control matrices equipped on these golem legions have been named ’War’ by the Golden Empire’s Magic Integration Department.
Whether it’s the ’War’ intelligent main brain or the main brain constructed in the mage towers standing atop the celestial dome, all ultimate permissions are locked in something sent back by the dragon-blood Angel Gabriel from the Dune Plane, a remnant of what was once the ultimate creation of civilization in the cosmos— the Thought Machine, placed deep within the Dragon King Court.
The final destination of these intelligent main brains copied from the Thought Machine through human computers is the Emperor of the Golden Empire, Karon Gogomola.
However, Centaur Kali isn’t particularly fond of the ’War’ intelligent main brain, because Kali once tried to chat with ’War’ but was refused.
