Beastmaster of the Ages
Chapter 4619 - Emperor, Spare Me!
Tianming ignored Xian Xian and Ji Ji's teasing and remained hurt when he recalled what Feiling just did. "Ling'er, where are you now? I can't see any trace of you anywhere."
He closed his eyes and was certain that Feiling hadn't shown up in any other part of the universe through his omnisentient threads. Qingyu told him that Feiling had something else to deal with, so it was likely to be something from the Realm of Worldgazing.
"If the Lord of Perpetia really awakened, anything that has to do with her is probably in the Realm of Worldgazing. I still don't get why she took our daughter and even said she would come back to settle the debt..." Tianming didn't know whether this was worth celebrating. He could feel that she was angry at him about something, but didn't plan on abandoning him completely either, which gave him quite a bit of pressure. He really wanted to see her again and wondered how things would turn out once he did.
Soon, Wu Di arrived with the two prisoners in tow as everyone in the Sun cheered at the sight. Not only did they solve the Gray Plague, they even managed to overcome their biggest enemies. This was a historic moment for all life in the universe. Before this, the Eightpart Pantheons ruled the world. There was still a short period of chaos after they were eradicated. Once that had been dealt with, the reign of the Tianming Dynasty was truly set in stone. Tianming didn't have a complete idea as to how he would run things yet, but he wanted to deal with Huang Qi and Mo Si first.
***
Tianming, Wudi, Zi Zhen and Moran all gathered together at a quiet location in Tianmingopolis, faced with Mo Si and Huang Qi, both quiet and having accepted their own submission. They appeared rather haggard despite healing up quickly as Aeternal Beings. Just like Huang Qi, Mo Si was bound by Sixth's Sourcepath Shackles. Both of them would suffer immense pain if they defied orders.
Tianming stared at both of them, Huang Qi especially. "Huang Qi, you told me that I would die for sure because the Aeternal Beings were far too strong. Looks like your dream has shattered. It's about time to move on."
The bee-headed queen was completely submissive and rather fearful for her rude outbursts against Tianming not too long ago. She even worked with Huang Liu to lure him into a trap and slowed his return back to the Flameyellow Imperial Star down. Huang Qi was constantly worried that Tianming would kill her to vent all that frustration and was absolutely horrified that she was asked to "move on," presumably to the next life.
Utterly fearful, she cried nonstop and pleaded, "Emperor! Emperor Tianming! I was wrong and foolish! From now on, I will never even think about betraying you! Spare me, please! I'm still incredibly useful to you!"
Tianming smirked. "Huang Qi, I realized that I prefer it when you act defiantly. Why don't you do just that? I want to see it."
Huang Qi slapped herself nonstop without speaking. It was so loud that Ying Huo and the others popped out to take a look.
Ying Huo said, "What an impressive sight indeed! An Aeternal Being with completely no self-respect at all!"
Bai Ye flew out and snickered. "Hahaha! So this is what it means to not shed any tears until you see your own coffin!"
Lan Huang excitedly said, "Cat Bro, look! You have a new mount now!"
Meow Meow shuddered as its hairs stood up. "Hey, stop the slander! That bee head creeps me out! I'll pass out if I wake up to that sight!"
Yin Chen said, "Why not... the other... that doesn't... have a... bee head?"
Meow Meow said, "Do you think me stupid? That one's covered in spikes! I'll be skewered if I try to sleep on that one! My balls will be turned into sea urchins!"
The beasts' chattering wouldn't change Tianming's decision in the slightest. He could tell that the two Aeternal Beings were truly humbled and feared their death. "Now tell me, how useful are you to me? As long as I'm satisfied, I might truly consider sparing you."
They exchanged glances before Mo Si said, "Lord Emperor, I believe someone of your caliber wouldn't want to remain in the God-Emperor Universe, right? You must want to head to the Realm of Worldgazing. We have information about that place and we can be your guides!"
The demonic lady was once arrogant and aloof when she first appeared at the Flameyellow Imperial Star. But after accepting reality, she chose to serve Tianming fully.
Huang Qi nodded repeatedly. "That's right! Lord Emperor, we can be your guides in the Realm of Worldgazing! It's massive and without any boundaries. With our help, you'll be able to avoid lots of unnecessary detours!"
Tianming wasn't surprised that this would be what they offered. In a way, he did need something like that. "Do you know about the Minor Chaos Dock?"
Mo Si immediately nodded. In her untransformed form, she was clad in tight, body-fitting clothes that accentuated her curves greatly. Kneeling, she showed absolute deference to Tianming, not daring to show off her evil allure at all.
"We do. We can guide you there."
Right as they thought Tianming would spare them, he said, "I think you're being a bit too ambitious. I know that the two of you are mere projections of other entities from the Realm of Worldgazing. If I bring you two there, you could just contact your actual bodies and get them to kill me."
He did need guides, but they didn't have to be these two. Taking the projections along would be far too risky.
"It'll save me lots of trouble if I just refine the two of you." As he said that, he turned to the two with the Grand-Orient Sword in his hand and killing intent building up in his eyes.
Mo Si and Huang Qi were absolutely horrified. Projections though they were, they didn't want to die.
Huang Qi broke out into sobs and prostrated herself in desperation. "Emperor, spare me! We'll do anything you say! I know I have been really rude to you, but I didn't lie when I told you that killing Huang Liu would take care of the plague! Please spare me in consideration of the Worldgazing God-Refining Art I taught you! Wait, maybe you can refine our physical bodies but keep our souls in the Grand-Orient Sword as artifact souls..."
Tianming pondered this deeply as he continued to stare at them.
