Chapter 4591 - Hidden Dangers

Tianming broke out in laughter at the sight of Wudi arming up as if he was going up against a fearsome foe. He knew that he wasn't the only one feeling pressured; all the others around him were too, Wudi especially. He was the wielder of the Flameyellow Coffin and the defender of the Flameyellow Imperial Star and its people, bearing no less of a burden than Tianming.

That was why Wudi had recently been contemplating how to react when the Number Monsters showed themselves. This led to him concluding quickly that they were trying to sneak over quietly to attack Moran and immediately fusing with the coffin.

Tianming dispelled his cosmic constellation and appeared, causing Wudi's eyes to pop out. "Tianming, my son, was that you?"

"Who else could it be?" Tianming said helplessly.

Wudi flew in circles around Tianming. "That can't be right! Since when did you learn stealth? I couldn't feel even a hint of your presence!"

"But of course. There's no way you can see through my powerful technique. I have attained super stealth! It's a staple for me now. As long as I don't fight at full power, I won't leave any trace at all!"

"Hot dang... Doesn't that mean you can defeat people with one surprise attack?"

Ying Huo flew out of Tianming's arm and snickered. "More than that! Little Li can peek at any beauty he wants to and sneak around without anyone noticing!"

Tianming snapped, "Hey! Don't ruin my good name."

Xian Xian popped out and said, "Little Li, since when did you have a good name?"

After a round of squabbling, Wudi and Uncle Tai Xu were quite impressed by the new stealth ability and wanted to experience it for themselves. Tianming shifted into his cosmic constellation form again and attacked Wudi and his beast's fused form. His attacks weren't that powerful, but the results were the same.

Wudi had no idea where the attacks were being launched from. It could come from the front one moment and suddenly snap to the back. Wudi was helpless to predict it. Eventually, both he and Uncle Tai Xu had seen enough. "How fun. I doubt anybody will be able to react to it in a real fight."

Tianming nodded and said, "I hope it's useful when the time comes. Then again, our enemies also have ways to catch us by surprise. Our priority is still on mastering the cosmic arts in the Flameyellow Cemetery to bring out the fullest extent of our power."

Wudi waved him off. "Relax. You're my son! It'd take you mere minutes to learn them."

"If that's the case, why are you so slow compared to me?"

"Hey, I'm giving you a chance to surpass the master. If I really tried, you wouldn't be able to keep up."

Tianming was so used to Wudi's boasts that he ignored him completely. He returned to the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb with Moran and summarized their results.

"After becoming a primocosmic god, the cosmic constellation that I awakened turned out to be my Order Relic's bottomless holes. They allow me to disappear completely. I also grew stronger on all other metrics. Next, I'll need to learn the cosmic arts in the Flameyellow Cemetery to boost my combat strength even more. Only then can I take on the four remaining Number Monsters!"

Before his breakthrough, he was able to suppress Shen Wu with omnisentient power. After it, he could easily do the same without using omnisentient power to the limit. Even then, he was still worried about the green leaf on his forehead that remained after Dao San perished.

"Hmm, maybe the leaf didn't come from Dao San, after all." He furrowed his brow. When he recalled that the dead Dao San was merely a projection, he figured that the green leaf might have something to do with the Aeternal Beings' true bodies.

"No matter what, it's still a lingering threat. It's too bad I can't get rid of the leaf no matter what I do." He was quite frustrated by this, but his parents didn't bring it up either. That might mean that the leaf wouldn't be a threat to him in the near future.

Once he returned to the ship, he entered stealth and went completely wild. He peeked on Jiguang as she talked to the Wondersky Fairy about the details of the formation they would construct around the new capital. It needed some defensive measures, after all, and the Wondersky Fairy was quite experienced in such matters. What Tianming found surprising was that the wonderian that made no attempt to stop seducing him could actually act seriously when it came to it.

He also saw his other friends and relatives who joined the effort to expand the Tianming Dynasty. While their cultivation levels were lagging far behind his, they had gained quite a lot of experience managing things over the years, making them part of the foundation of stability that his empire was built upon.

He saw Jiang Qingluan among them too. She was lively as ever, reminding him of the imperial daughter of Vermillion Bird from the Realm of Chaos. How in the world were those two related?

While the secrets of the Chaos Skyjail were ever elusive, this wasn't the time to focus on them.

Eventually, Tianming circled around to the room where he and Zi Zhen absorbed dazzling radiances together and broke through. He immediately felt that Zi Zhen's aura was growing rapidly when he arrived. She was eighty thousand meters in height like before, but Tianming knew that this was just her petite, untransformed state.

Did she break through? He entered the room with joy in his heart. Zi Zhen was already a tenth-level primocosmic god when she went to help the devas, putting her firmly in the imperator class. Breaking through beyond that point didn't seem to cause the body to grow more. It was clear that she managed to make even more progress after absorbing the energy flow of order within the dazzling radiances, so how strong did she become?
