Chapter 4226 – Daosteal
Chapter 4226 – Daosteal
“That’s only because you haven’t seen it.” As far as Tianming knew, right at this very moment, there was someone striving for immortality. She truly was the oldest of old crones, who had survived ten whole eras without dying!
Mu Qingqing didn’t argue with him and instead said, “Do as you please. I’ll wait here in the Kunruler Palace and won’t disturb you. When your grandparents wake, or when the banquet is about to begin, or if you have any instructions, just call me at any time.”
“Fine. Stand further away and stop interfering with my cultivation,” Tianming said with a dismissive gesture.
“Uh...” Mu Qingqing froze for a moment, then lowered her head, her eyes turning slightly red as she quietly turned and walked away.
Watching her lonely back as she left, Tianming muttered, “Is that real emotion, or just an act?”
He had once suffered a great loss because of someone named Mu Qingqing, so just hearing that name left his expression dark.
“Forget it. Even if her feelings are real, they’re for that person, not for me,” Tianming muttered to himself as he glanced at the hundred-thousand-year-old portrait behind him.
After speaking, he looked around and drew in a deep breath.
Ying Huo and the others also came out of his lifebound space. This unimaginably vast Kunruler Palace was larger than a heliacal-class world, so they could play and cultivate freely.
“Everyone!” Tianming’s eyes burned as he said, “My daughter has returned. From this moment on, we have only one mission in this Realm of Chaos: to discard omnisentient power, and level up honestly!”
Omnisentient power was tempting, but they shouldn’t overindulge. Being addicted to external strength would only lead to losing oneself!
“All right, skip the pep talk,” Ji Ji muttered with a pout.
Tianming took out the “bird’s nest” he had acquired from the Archaionfiends’ lair.
His eyes blazed as he looked at the ancient fiend eyes inside and said, “Isn’t this convenient? I just got these treasures, and I immediately meet four sky plunderers.”
Li Xiao, Dong Shenyue, Li Muyang, and Li Tianzi.
Wei Jing was not one of them, but rather a human of the Realm of Chaos like Mu Qingqing. These native humans didn’t possess as many unique abilities as the Eightpart Pantheons did, but they seemed to have one advantage: they advanced quickly and produced many cosmic gods.
Enough numbers could bury the enemy alive.
Tianming had inquired and learned that there were thirty billion cosmic gods in the Nullity, and fifteen billion of them could serve as regular soldiers in war.
That figure far surpassed any single race among the Eightpart Pantheons.
At the same level, a human from the Realm of Chaos might not even beat the most ordinary human from the Realm of Order.
But who said they’d be at the same level as you? They didn’t need order, and had their own growth system that leveled up insanely fast.
All the cosmic god armies of the entire astralscape of order combined were under one trillion, whereas the Realm of Chaos had several times that number. Tianming also noted that there were quite a few astral giants here over ten thousand meters tall.
“I wonder how many points those four have opened in their Plundering Eye? And how many Archaionfiend Eyes they’ve got?”
Tianming hadn't examined them yet.
He himself had nine points total and had opened three: Vitasteal, Fiendsky Arm, and Fatesteal. The first two he used frequently, while he had only used the last once.
“Let’s devour the centuroptic beasts’ eyes first.”
Tianming began by guiding the red dot around the outer ring of his Plundering Eye into the inner taiji yin-yang eyes, dyeing the entire Plundering Eye scarlet, while hundreds of compound eyes appeared!
This was the devouring state of the Plundering Eye.
Tianming then glanced down again at the bird’s nest he had received. There were eight centuroptic beast eyes on top, but there was a layer of mist concealing other items beneath it.
He decided to devour the eight eyes first. Now that his soul was powerful, fusing the Archaionfiend eyes was quick. His Plundering Eye greedily swallowed up eye after eye, and the number of compound eyes within visibly increased from one hundred to nine hundred!
In the end, his Plundering Eye was packed with countless blood-red compound eyes. There were so many, like a swarm of flies, that looking at it made one’s scalp crawl.
Without question, Tianming’s Vitasteal had skyrocketed in power.
As for the Fiendsky Arm, perhaps because of Meow Meow’s fusion, Tianming hadn’t trained it much, so it didn’t improve significantly.
As for Fatesteal, he didn’t dare attempt it again after his first experience using it to spy on the workings of fate, which he had discovered to be a taboo.
“Nine hundred eyes—then what?”
After finishing the absorption, Tianming withdrew Vitasteal and the red receded, revealing the inner circle of the taiji yin-yang eye. All the red collided with the fourth gray point, which abruptly turned silver in response!
A brand-new bloodline memory surfaced in Tianming’s mind.
The silver dot extended into the taiji fishes, and the fish spun, becoming a swirling silver vortex.
“Daosteal?” Tianming shook. “To steal the Heavenly Dao?”
“But the “Heavenly Dao” here shouldn’t be the same as the Heavenly Dao of the Upper Star Ruin, which is just a massive formation. The meaning of the Heavenly Dao to the sky plunderers should be... order! The order of the Sea of Order itself...”
Tianming’s eyes lit up. He had a feeling that similar to how Moran devoured wonderian order, this power might let his order grow rapidly!
“Have you awakened Daosteal? That’s the starting point for your clan’s rapid order growth. It’s perfect timing for the Inverse Battlefield,” Mu Qingqing said from the doorway, delighted.
“Didn’t I tell you to stand farther away?” Tianming said irritably.
“I...I was afraid you’d run,” Mu Qingqing said, head lowered.
“You know I won’t run. You just want to look at me a few more times,” Tianming said with a chuckle.
His words hit the mark, and she lowered her head even more.
“Further.” After saying that, Tianming turned his gaze to the lower layer of the bird’s nest. He could sense something even more terrifying inside.
Just as he was about to open the barrier, a storm whipped up outside as two giants abruptly stepped into the Kunruler Palace!
Tianming looked up so sharply his neck nearly snapped. It was Li Muyang and Li Tianzi. It was unbelievable, one stood a hundred thousand meters tall, and the other ninety thousand meters.
“Yes?” Tianming calmly asked as he put the nest away.
Li Muyang’s gaze was incomparably grave as he said to Tianming, “Show me your Plundering Eye.”
Tianming studied him for a moment. If the man tried anything, he couldn’t resist anyway, so he simply extended his palm.
Li Muyang looked down. His eyes widened, his expression wildly agitated.
“Fatesteal!” Li Tianzi exclaimed, stumbling back three steps and nearly crashing into the wall.
Tianming hadn’t expected such a strong reaction.
“What’s so strange about it?” Tianming asked in confusion.
“Tianming...” Li Muyang took a deep breath and then extended his own massive hand, showing his Plundering Eye that had eight of the nine outer-ring points lit.
The only one missing was Fatesteal.
