Beast Taming: the More the Better
Chapter 1341: Hell Sword Master! Unrivaled Power!
Therefore, unless Qian Yi achieved further comprehension and improvements later on, this Skill would remain at this stage for the rest of its life.
However, Su Ping was very content. He was truly satisfied.
Although as an Evolutionary Body of this Level, its Racial Skills were pitifully few, these three Skills were worth more than a hundred ordinary Skills combined.
Not to mention, there was also that Perfection Level Skill that integrated all the traits of a Paperman:
[King of Paperman (Perfection): Advanced through a Paperman body, it includes the paperization of one’s own body, as well as the absolute position and control over Paperman Pet Beasts. At the same time, it can integrate one’s own power into other Papermen, greatly increasing the power of the corresponding Paperman Pet Beast!]
Needless to say, Qian Yi’s previous Paper Body Control and Paper Body Folding had all been merged into this Skill.
Unfortunately, the upper limit of a Paperman was exactly that; even with this integration, it did not merge into a Super-Rank Skill.
However, this did not matter. Su Ping could even sense that the current Qian Yi actually still possessed the essence of paper.
But Qian Yi’s state was extremely special. Its soul had merged with the Sword of Death. Under the evolutionary envelopment of the Sword of Death, its Soul Power fused with its paper body, forming a bodily essence that was neither flesh and blood nor physical matter, yet it still retained the physical changes of paper.
This was also the main reason why Qian Yi could transform into the two forms of Sword Holder and Divine Sword under the Super Rank Race Skill, ‘Death Sword Master’.
Not to mention, if it did not have a paper body, let alone the Great Revolution Five Elements Physique advancing to the Mastery Level, whether it could even be retained at all would be in question.
And aside from these, Su Ping soon discovered another massive change.
During Qian Yi’s previous Breeding prior to its Evolution, cultivating the Five Elements Core and the Great Revolution Five Elements Physique into its main body had been accomplished through Paper Body Compression.
Therefore, Qian Yi’s Heart of Elements initially only consisted of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.
But after this Evolution was complete, Su Ping clearly saw that within that Heart of Elements—among the Elemental Power Qian Yi commanded—an additional Heart of Death had emerged.
Was this also the reason why this Heart of Elements had accordingly leveled up to the Master Level?
Having figured this out, Su Ping let out a long breath, then looked at Qian Yi, feeling somewhat lost.
Qian Yi was simply too powerful now. The intensity of this Evolution greatly exceeded his expectations. This gave Su Ping a sliver of unfamiliarity toward his own Pet Beast for the first time. He was a little scared now.
He feared that there might still be leftover Netherworld God Marks within the Sword of Death that his soul had not discovered and completely drained. Would such marks affect Qian Yi, causing it to become unfamiliar, gradually lose its original self, and turn into another stranger—a ‘Netherworld God’?
Under his worried gaze, Qian Yi finally seemed to have finished digesting its Evolution Power. It looked around at all the entities that were staring at it.
Especially after seeing the countless Undead Army that had formed a semicircle on the periphery, it froze for a moment. Then, looking at the black mist around it and the Heavenly Tomb behind it, it finally understood the situation.
It pondered for a moment, then quickly composed itself, slowly raising the Sword of Death—which it wielded like an extension of its own arm—and ‘spoke’ in a cold voice:
“WUWA! (I have received your reverence!)
“WUWA! (All living beings shall eventually fall into eternal slumber! Death and the dark night shall be governed by me!)
“WUWA! (Those who chant my true name ‘Qian Yi’ shall live eternally in my Sword Domain!)”
Looking at that face, which still retained its 2D art style despite being entirely dark gray, and sensing the familiar Spirit expression, Su Ping let go of all his worries and nodded.
Yes, it was still the same little guy.
