Barbarian Queen Conquest: Reborn as a Female Barbarian [OP MC LitRPG Isekai]
Chapter 97: Class Rank Up Time
As everyone was getting ready to depart, I walked behind the house for one last important thing: Ranking Up my Class and then using the few items I had left.
So far, this was how my Class Rank Up Requirements appeared.
[Class Rank Up Requirements.]
[Five Tier 4 Magic/Spirit Beast Cores]: [5/5]
[Twenty-five Tier 2 Magic/Spirit Beast Cores]: [15/15]
[Fifty Tier 1 Magic/Spirit Beast Cores]: [50/50]
[Learn Ten Magic Spells]: [10/10]
[Predict 3 Events Accurately]: [3/3]
[Survive 3 Fatal Moment With Your Wits]: [3/3]
[Hunt Down Five Tier 3+ Formidable Creatures With Bow and Arrow]: [5/5]
[Assassinate Ten Targets Without Being Seen]: [10/10]
Without me even realizing it, I had already completed all of the requirements, shocking me beyond reason. I had expected a few hard ones to still remain uncompleted, but to my surprise, they were not.
“I must have completed them when doing all the grinding and other stuff I did,” I wondered, rubbing my chin thoughtfully. “Now, with this Rank Up, I can finally reach Tier 3...!”
Although my total power level was obviously above my current Tier of 2, with another Tier, my power would likely rise even further, allowing me to gain the necessary strength to confront the enemies that I would have to fight soon.
I read every requirement carefully, recalling how I had completed them one by one.
The Cores requirements were not anything surprising, though. They were just items I already had saved in my inventory from previous battles and hunts.
The Spells were a bit more surprising at first glance, but after all the intense training I had done, it was no longer that shocking. My Prediction requirements were likely tied directly to my Diviner Class and the visions it had forced upon me.
Surviving Fatal Moments with my Wits? Well, that had already happened more than three times in recent days, so it was definitely something I recalled having faced and overcome through careful thinking under pressure.
This particular requirement was likely from my Gladiator Class, as it relied heavily on Guts, the Skill I learned after changing into this Class and pushing myself past normal limits.
Hunting formidable creatures with bow and arrow? That was likely thanks to my new Divine Skill which allowed me to manifest a bow and arrows made of pure shadows. It was related to my Hunter Class, and I had already completed it when I hunted down those strong golems and dhampirs in the previous conflicts.
Lastly, the assassination requirement was something I did not fully expect. It was likely tied to the Ninja Class, but I had already done it plenty of times without noticing. I did recall shooting many golems to death with my shadow bows from hidden positions, so those two requirements and their completion had overlapped naturally during the same fights.
“I wonder if next time it will be the same... or maybe not. It depends on how hard the new requirements turn out to be.”
I stopped wasting time and quickly moved toward the next status window by my side. A screen with a clear message popped up before my vision.
Ding!
[You have met all Class Rank Up Requirements! Do you wish to Rank Up your Class?]
[Yes] [No]
My hands trembled slightly from the mix of anticipation and excitement, but I nodded firmly and pressed [Yes].
[Displaying all available classes.]
[Diviner – Tier 2] -> [Oracle – Tier 3] / [Prophet – Tier 3]
[Gladiator – Tier 2] -> [Berserker – Tier 3] / [Champion – Tier 3]
[Hunter – Tier 2] -> [Werebeast – Tier 3] / [Stalker – Tier 3]
[Saintess – Tier 2] -> [Seraph – Tier 3] / [Miracle – Tier 3]
[Ninja – Tier 2] -> [Kage no Oni – Tier 3] / [Samurai – Tier 3]
“So these are the new Class Options...” I thought with growing interest. “There are certainly a few I recognize, but others that I have never seen before. For one, I thought Samurai evolved from the Warrior Path, but you can get it from Rogue to Ninja?! Wow... Then there are Oracle and Prophet... I have never seen those before either. Werebeast and Stalker I recognize from old stories. Seraph and Miracle... not really familiar with those. Kage no Oni...? What is that? Shadow Demon?”
I narrowed my eyes in mild confusion. Why did that particular class have to be written in Japanese, though? Just to add extra flavor to the system?
“Well, whatever the case, I should first see their full descriptions.”
[Oracle – Tier 3]: A Class with the ability to accurately see fragments of the future at will by activating their Oracle Magic. These glimpses of the Future can then be used to prevent disasters or save people. Their power can now be controlled to an extent and does not come in random spurts while sleeping or doing something else. It is also possible to use an advanced, controlled form of Clairvoyance to see far into the future and also at a distance, and even at higher levels, it is possible to commune with the stars and constellations and gain their blessings. Oracles can read people’s hearts and futures, predict their fate, and guide them toward their right paths. Mana +4000, Spirit +4000, Resistance +4000.
“Huh, just an upgraded Diviner I guess. What are the other options?” I decided to carefully review every single one and their descriptions before making any further decisions.
[Prophet – Tier 3]: A Class that transcends mere foresight, channeling divine or cosmic revelations to influence the very threads of fate. Prophets receive clearer, longer visions and can invoke Prophecies that subtly bend reality toward desired outcomes—such as weakening enemies, strengthening allies, or altering small events in their favor. Their words carry weight, often becoming self-fulfilling. At higher levels, they may even deliver Oracular Pronouncements that can temporarily rewrite minor aspects of destiny. Prophets excel at long-term guidance, religious or political influence, and averting large-scale calamities. Mana +5000, Spirit +5000, Luck +3000.
I raised an eyebrow with genuine intrigue. “Prophet sounds a lot more active than Oracle. Oracle is about precise control, while Prophet is about influence. Interesting trade-off. Though, it just sounds stronger overall! I think I am leaning toward picking this one... plus that Luck boost. I really want it.”
I kept reading without pause, moving on to the branching evolutions of the Gladiator Class: Berserker and Champion. Both seemed to have their own unique abilities and different ways of handling combat.
[Berserker – Tier 3]: The embodiment of primal rage and unyielding combat fury. Berserkers enter a state of bloodthirst that dramatically boosts Strength, Agility, and Endurance while ignoring pain and most status effects. Their body becomes a weapon of pure destruction, with skills that feed on damage taken or dealt to fuel even greater power. However, prolonged rage can exhaust them heavily afterward. This path rewards those who thrive in the heart of chaos and close-quarters slaughter. Strength +6000, Vitality +4000, Endurance +4000.
[Champion – Tier 3]: A glorious warrior who stands as a beacon on the battlefield. Champions gain powerful defensive auras that bolster allies while weakening foes, along with the ability to issue Challenges that force enemies into honorable single combat. Their presence inspires courage and loyalty in those around them. Masterful at both leading charges and dueling the strongest opponents, they turn the tide of entire skirmishes. Strength +4500, Endurance +4500, Charm +3500, Resistance +3000.
“So Gladiator branches into pure destruction or strong leadership... that makes complete sense,” I muttered under my breath. “I recognize these classes well from past knowledge. Berserker can eventually evolve into a super strong Tier 4 Class called Calamity. However, Champion can also evolve further into Hero!”
