Baby with Daoist Monarch System
Chapter 1111 - 504: Thunder Lord
Chapter 504: Thunder Lord!
That hand, crystalline and translucent, seemed forged from the purest Chaos. Upon it, there were the orderly divine patterns of Fire and the void scars of Gui Xu, yet the two merged perfectly, forming a new, indescribable "Law".
He gently pressed towards the vast Ruins Spirit being drawn in.
"Dust returns to dust, soil returns to soil."
"Dao, returns to Dao."
"Ruins, return to Ruins."
Buzz—!
No earth-shattering explosion, no collapse of Laws.
Only that once despair-bringing Ruins Spirit to countless Guardians began to "disintegrate" under the palm of Dao Ruins in a most gentle yet thorough manner.
Within its body, the countless tainted great Daos emitted a mournful wail as if liberated.
The Rusted Sword, born of "Sword Dao Wail," shed its rust, transforming into pure Sword Intent, trembling slightly in salute to Dao Ruins before dissipating into the world, returning to its rightful "Source of Dao."
The magic tower, formed from the remnants of "Formation Dao," collapsed with a roar into countless profound Runes, swirling once in the air, then vanished.
The black electric snake, formed from "Thunder Path Wail," shed its black aura, transforming back into a brilliant purple lightning, letting out a high-pitched dragon’s roar before disappearing into the void.
In this moment, the thousands of great Daos, imprisoned and distorted for endless ages, were all "liberated" by Dao Ruins!
He did not destroy them, but with his transcendent "Dao of Ruins," washed away their "pollution," severing their ties to Gui Xu, allowing them to regain freedom!
This is a method far superior to mere "annihilation"!
This is... Restoring Order from Chaos!
As the myriad Daos departed, the vast body of the Ruins Spirit was left with the purest part belonging to "Gui Xu."
That was the core of the ancient "Source of Gui Xu."
Dao Ruins gazed upon this pure, ominous and terminal Energy, his eyes devoid of greed, only calm.
"And you..."
He clenched his palm.
The enormous source point of Gui Xu was instantly compressed into a crystal, only fist-sized, as black as ink.
The crystal’s surface, smooth as a mirror, reflected no light, as if it could devour everything.
Dao Ruins held this "Crystal of Gui Xu" in his hand, feeling the pure "void" Power within.
The Fire Mark within him had dimmed, deeply dormant, as if asleep, or in fear.
It had been gravely harmed in its contest with Gui Xu.
Moreover, it was completely stunned by Dao Ruins’ reckless act of "refining two extremes with his body as a furnace."
It found that it could no longer "control" this host from above as before.
Dao Ruins had grown into a "monster" it could not comprehend.
Having done all this, Dao Ruins slowly turned around, and looked back.
There, lay the ruins of the "Ten Thousand Dao Tomb."
The once terrifying void had vanished.
The hideous, twisted growths, like tumors, had turned to dust.
The entirety of the sixteen thousand two hundredth barrier restored to its original appearance. Though still riddled with cracks, the malice and pollution that had parasitized upon it were completely gone.
Beneath the barrier, faintly, one could see several towering silhouettes bowing slightly in the direction of Dao Ruins before finally dissipating.
Those were the last undying obsessions left by supreme beings who had fought and been polluted here long ago.
Their vengeance was fulfilled.
Their Dao was liberated.
Their obsessions could finally be laid to rest.
Dao Ruins quietly watched it all, his chaos-colored eyes expressionless.
He raised his hand, gently caressing the Blood-crying Ancient Wall before him.
The ancient wall, cold, yet seemed to carry a hint of "warmth."
He could feel the entire Sea of Realms Dam, this "ultimate creation" forged by the blood and lives of countless epochs and beings, exuding a "friendly" goodwill towards him.
Because he had extracted a "tumor" from its body.
"Guardian..."
Dao Ruins murmured, as if gaining a new understanding of these two words.
Guardianship is not merely about blocking.
Nor is it solely about slaughter.
It is about returning everything to where it belongs.
Let what belongs to Order, return to Order.
Let what belongs to Void, return to Void.
Let what is wrong, be corrected.
Let what is twisted, be smoothed.
This, is the true "Path of Guardian."
He slowly retracted his hand, his gaze once again towards the deeper parts of the dam.
The distant area, unreachable by even Guardians, shrouded in eternal mist.
There, he sensed even more, stronger, and more ancient "fissures."
More "errors" like the "Ten Thousand Dao Tomb" awaited "correction."
The energy within him flowed slowly.
The chaotic colored "source of ruins" within him more subdued, yet more terrifying than the simple Power of Gui Xu. It was a "Law," an "ultimate truth" that could define all things.
He felt as if he had become the "doctor" of this dam.
And those "fissures," were the "ailments" awaiting his "treatment."
