The arrival of Professors Genevieve and Anly changed the mood around the pool at once.

The group of students stood up straight. They stopped laughing and talking. The gentlemen put on polite faces.

The young men who had been glaring at the black-haired guy quickly adjusted their clothes and put on respectful smiles.

"Professors," one male student said, "We are just unwinding after the brutal exchange event."

"You guys deserve some fun after the event."

"Carry on."

Anly and Genevieve nodded towards the students with polite indifference.

"Yes, ma’am."

The students replied.

Genevieve’s eyes scanned the pool area and landed right on the black-haired young man resting in the corner.

Anly looked over too. A glint flashed in her eyes when she saw him.

They headed to where the man was sitting.

The students looked at each other in confusion.

"Wait... where are Professor Genevieve and Professor Anly going?" one of the girls asked quietly.

"Do they have some beef with that guy?" one male student asked with a sly smile. "Maybe he offended them and they are here to teach him a lesson?"

"Yeah, serves him right," another guy whispered, waiting to see the stranger get in trouble. "He acts like he owns the whole ship just because he sits there looking quiet."

"He was acting so proud earlier when he turned down the girls," a third student muttered under his breath. "Let’s see him act proud in front of two famous senior teachers."

"I don’t think someone as polite as that man will get into trouble with the professors." The ladies started defending Aiden.

The gentlemen were shocked.

Even after he rejected you guys, you are still defending him?

The gentlemen clicked their tongues with a sore taste in their mouths.

Let’s see you defend him after the professors humiliate him.

They expected Genevieve to raise her voice. They expected Anly to tell the guy to stand up and show proper respect.

But their smiles froze the moment the professors stopped in front of the young man.

Aiden locked his phone screen, lowered his blue glasses, and looked up at them.

"So they are finally here to offer me the professorship position," Aiden thought.

The students were surprised at his demeanor.

He did not look nervous. He did not look surprised.

He did not even stand up.

He just stayed sitting on his lounger, holding his drink, and gave a polite, relaxed smile.

"Good afternoon," Aiden said, taking a small sip of his orange drink. "Can I help you with something?"

The students waited for the professors to get angry at him for being rude.

In the university, no student would ever dare sit down while talking to senior staff like Genevieve and Anly. It was a sign of bad manners.

Screw the university—the professors were legendary rank 2 warriors. Based on the man’s appearance and ordinary demeanor, he was most likely nowhere near their level of strength.

Common sense dictated that he give them proper respect. They were seniors in terms of cultivation.

Instead, Professor Genevieve gave a deep, respectful bow. Anly smiled warmly and bowed her head, too.

"Good afternoon, sir," Genevieve said politely "My name is Genevieve, and this is my colleague, Anly. We are senior teachers from Sauna City University."

The students behind them gasped. Their mouths opened in shock.

Sir?!

Professor Genevieve bowed and called that random guy in shorts ’sir’?!

The young men who were talking trash felt cold all over.

The color drained from their faces as they stared at the scene, unable to believe what was happening.

Their minds went blank.

Professor Genevieve and Professor Anly were legendary Rank 2 warriors.

They were famous for being strict and hard to please. Yet here they were, bowing to a guy who was wearing simple summer shorts and slippers.

The girls were shocked, too. They looked back and forth between their famous teachers and the calm man who had turned them down earlier.

"So that’s why..." one girl whispered to her friend with wide eyes. "That’s why he didn’t care when I walked up to him."

"He wasn’t being rude," the other girl said. "He really is just on a whole different level from us."

Aiden looked at the two professors with a calm expression on his face.

He set his orange drink down on the small table next to his seat.

"Alex Turner," he said, using his fake name. "Nice to meet you both. There’s no need to be so polite please."

"The pleasure is ours, Mr. Turner" Anly and Genevieve said, their voice full of respect as they lifted their head. Since the senior didn’t want them to be overly polite, they had to respect his wishes.

"We saw what happened in the restaurant earlier" Anly said politely "A man who can scare away someone like Dorian Vance with just one look is very rare."

When they heard the name ’Dorian Vance,’ the students gasped again. They felt chills crawl up their spines.

Dorian Vance was a famous genius in Sauna City. He was the young master of the Iron Vanguard Guild and a Beginner rank 3 warrior.

Even the top students at Sauna City University had to tread carefully around Dorian Vance when they were off campus because of his strength and background.

And this plain guy in front of them had chased Dorian Vance off with just a single look?

"He... he beat Dorian Vance?" one male student stammered. His voice was shaking in fear.

"No, he didn’t even fight him," another student replied. He was very terrified. "Professor Anly said he scared him away with just a look."

The young men who had badmouthed the mysterious senior earlier were scared.

Did the senior hear them badmouthing him?

But considering his demeanor, it seemed they were too inconsequential to him for him to care.

They felt like they had just walked along the edge of a deep cliff without knowing it. If they had gone over to push him or insult him, they might not have survived the day.

Genevieve spoke clearly, taking a step closer while keeping her posture polite. "To be direct, Mr. Turner, our university has an open spot for a guest professor in our combat department. A warrior of your rank would be a great addition to our school. We would be honored if you joined us."

The party continued as different people went about their business.

But the students stood frozen in total shock. The professors were not just being polite to this guy—they were actively begging him to join their university as a teacher.

He looked very young, yet he was being invited to become a professor, if possible to some students who were probably older than him.

Aiden leaned back in his chair slightly, his blue eyes calm and unreadable.

He had already decided earlier to take on the offer.

"A guest professor spot?" Aiden asked with a polite tone. "Tell me more about the details."

The students watched in silent awe as their two proud professors smiled with relief and began explaining the terms to the young senior, treating him like an honored guest of the highest order.
