Chapter 200: Chapter 141: I Will Punish You

The winter wind was cold.

It stung the face like a blade.

The Black Skirt Fairy exhaled a warm breath, the rising vapor misting before her eyes.

She adjusted her black skirt, shifting her position.

They hadn’t been flying long before the Blood Dragon beneath them began to fade, as if its ink had run dry. Its crimson color gradually receded, and its form became transparent.

Qiu Yuehan suddenly asked, "Why didn’t you kill the Blood Demon Lord?"

"I spared him."

"And the real reason?" The Black Skirt Fairy’s eyes held a smile, and her gentle voice was laced with mirth.

Lu Changyuan’s resigned voice drifted up from beneath her.

"A Yao Guang cultivator isn’t that easy to kill. If I’d had more time, I could have definitely finished him off, but that bowl of blood was all used up, and the Blood Dragon is about to disappear."

The Killing Dao cannot be sustained for long without the Yao Guang Technique.

Lu Changyuan’s Killing Dao Yao Guang Technique was also the Supreme Pure Spirit Forget Immortal Technique, but that Heart Method had already been shattered. Just now, he had merely used that bowl of blood and five hundred years of flesh to secretly land a single strike and slay the Black Dragon.

Once the Blood Demon Lord came to his senses, Lu Changyuan would no longer be able to maintain his calm, effortless composure.

It made no difference.

Blood Demon Island was a complete wreck thanks to Lu Changyuan, and the blood that the Blood Demon Lord had spent centuries accumulating now belonged to him.

His objective had been achieved.

He’d had his fun, so why stick around? It’s not like he was staying for the holidays.

"So, in other words, you’re exhausted?"

"Yes."

A tall, snow-covered bamboo forest appeared in the distance. Lu Changyuan struggled to fly to its edge, and then the Blood Dragon dissipated completely.

Lu Changyuan’s figure reappeared. He steadied himself with one hand on a bamboo stalk, panting for breath.

Qiu Yuehan landed lightly on the ground, her Embroidered Moon Slippers pressing gently into the snow. She seemed to be the sole splash of black in the snowy expanse.

"What’s wrong?"

"I’m about to have a breakthrough."

The Five Desires and Six Dust Heart Transformation Technique began to circulate, sucking the surrounding Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi dry. With Lu Changyuan at the center, countless vortexes rose, filled with the blurry yet real shadows of various desires.

Qiu Yuehan couldn’t make out the forms of the shadows, but she found them strangely familiar. Though doubtful, the Fairy still offered, "I’ll stand guard for you."

"No need."

The unexpected answer made Qiu Yuehan furrow her brow slightly.

Lu Changyuan held onto the bamboo, not daring to look at Qiu Yuehan. The unconscious force in his hand was crushing the vibrant green stalk into a mangled mess.

"You need to stay away from me. I just turned into the Blood Dragon and swallowed that drop of blood. My thoughts are being affected by that Black Dragon."

Not long ago, the Blood Demon Lord had been influenced enough to want to kill Qiu Yuehan. Lu Changyuan naturally couldn’t escape the same Karma now.

’If only my Heart Method hadn’t changed.’

Lu Changyuan gave a bitter smile. He didn’t dare look at Qiu Yuehan, afraid he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from attacking her.

But Qiu Yuehan seemed completely unfazed. "Affected? What kind of effect?"

"Don’t come any closer. I’m serious. I can barely control myself right now. Just wait until I’ve finished digesting this drop of blood and ascended to the Jade Balance realm."

Qiu Yuehan’s laugh came from behind him. It was an extremely rare occasion for Lu Changyuan to hear the Moon Fairy laugh.

The winter plum blossoms couldn’t compare to the soul-stirring beauty of that sound.

Just then, snow began to fall, as if draping the bamboo forest in another soft, white garment.

A vast, hoary frost filled the air. Sky, clouds, mountains, and water—all was white, above and below, as if in a dream.

A soft, jade-like hand came to rest on Lu Changyuan’s shoulder, and the Fairy’s cool yet warm voice followed. "Let me see... how exactly do you plan on hurting me?"

Qiu Yuehan turned Lu Changyuan to face her, and that’s when she saw the golden color in his eyes.

THUMP.

Snow fell, and a body fell with it.

Lu Changyuan tackled the Fairy directly into the snow, leaving a human-shaped silhouette on the otherwise pristine ground. The Fairy’s hair, as black as a raven’s feather, spread out across the snow, composing a picturesque scene.

It was breathtakingly beautiful.

"Oh?" A smile played on Qiu Yuehan’s lips. She seemed to rather enjoy watching Lu Changyuan struggle with his instincts.

Lu Changyuan said irritably, "Can’t you... be serious? Get away from me!"

"But I don’t want to."

’What in the world has gotten into the Moon Fairy?’

Lu Changyuan was about to use the last of his strength to push Qiu Yuehan away, but unexpectedly, an icy sensation caressed his cheek.

The Fairy’s hand was dusted with snow, making it incredibly cold. Her delicate hand, even whiter than the snow, traced a line from Lu Changyuan’s chin all the way to his brow.

"You’re actually quite handsome, you know."

Lu Changyuan was about to say it was nonsense, but then he felt a tranquil coolness spreading through his heart.

"You?"

The Moon Fairy said charmingly, "Hm?"

That was it. Lu Changyuan no longer had the Supreme Pure Spirit Forget Immortal Technique and could only fight the Black Dragon’s influence head-on. But Qiu Yuehan did. Not only that, her cultivation of it was quite good.

Lu Changyuan breathed a sigh of relief. "You should have said so earlier. Help me with Concentrating Spirit; it will make it easier for me to absorb this drop of blood."

The Blood Demon Lord couldn’t digest it, but that was just because he was useless. Lu Changyuan, with his Five Desires and Six Dust Heart Transformation Technique, could devour anything.

"Yes, go on and absorb it."

Qiu Yuehan had an unreadable smile on her face.

’What does this Black Skirt Fairy mean by that?’

Soon enough, Lu Changyuan knew exactly what Qiu Yuehan meant.

The Mark of Yu was growing hot.

"At a time like this... you...!?"

Before Lu Changyuan could finish speaking, the Moon Fairy arched her body, tilted her head up, and bit down fiercely on his lips. Her long, elegant black hair brushed against his face as the two of them slowly ground against each other.

It didn’t last long. Lu Changyuan suddenly braced himself against the snow and broke their kiss. "Are you crazy?"

The Moon Fairy wore no rouge, yet her thin lips were now shockingly vibrant, almost unfairly beautiful.

"I think this is a perfect opportunity."

"And this is how you seize an opportunity?"

Opportunity always favors the prepared Fairy.

Lu Changyuan was influenced by the Black Dragon, and his desire to harm Qiu Yuehan could be neutralized by the Supreme Pure Spirit Forget Immortal Technique. But the cold Moon Fairy played a little trick; she didn’t neutralize it completely. Instead, aided by the mark, she transformed the desire to harm her that the Black Dragon had instilled in him into another kind of desire.

"Let’s see how you can hurt me," Qiu Yuehan said, her lips parting as her breath, fragrant as an orchid, ghosted over him. "I don’t believe you’re that impressive."

Influenced by two different magics at once, Lu Changyuan let out a laugh of pure exasperation.

"Don’t forget, you are still my Named Disciple."

Qiu Yuehan gave a melodious laugh. The Cold Fairy, who had always seemed above such mortal trifles, revealed an unprecedented coquettishness that made it impossible to look away. "What’s wrong? Do you need me to ask my master to discipline me with a rod? I saw you punishing Junior Sister before. It was quite terrifying, you know."

Lu Changyuan gritted his teeth.

He then heard the Moon Fairy say, "In the palanquin, right in front of my eyes... weren’t you having fun toying with your junior sister, pretending she was me? What’s wrong? Are you scared now that the real one is here?"

The snow was still drifting down, making the human-shaped silhouette on the ground more and more distinct. Lu Changyuan’s Profound Robe had been almost completely dyed white.

"Serve your master. Hurry up. If you don’t serve me well, I’ll punish you!" The Fairy’s face was like a blooming lotus, her voice as cloying and seductive as silk. "Faster."

The pristine white snow seemed to reflect the moon, a beauty so stunning that it momentarily dazzled Lu Changyuan’s eyes.
