Chapter 325: I can only give you survival advice.

“You all believe me now, huh? The monsters don’t have to bite you before you become infected. Swallowing their fluids or allowing their fluids to come into contact with your skin when you have an open wound will also get you infected,” Ivy voiced out with a heavy sigh.

However, the students were still too shocked to speak. They remained on the ground, unable to process everything that had just happened before their eyes.

Some stared at the horrific scene with tears rolling down their cheeks, while others trembled terribly out of fear. A few couldn’t even bear to look at the horror unfolding before them any longer and had to turn their heads away, desperately trying to shut out the terrifying sight.

“Anyways, collect all the drugs in this room,” Ivy instructed with another heavy sigh, turning her gaze towards Darren.

Darren immediately nodded in response and began gathering all the medicines in the room, carefully checking which ones were still in good condition before placing them together.

“I want to help,” Oscar suddenly voiced out as he struggled to get back on his feet.

Although his legs were shaking terribly, he managed to lean against one of the shelves to keep himself standing. He swallowed hard, trying to steady his breathing before turning his gaze towards Ivy.

“Can I also help you gather the medicines?” he asked cautiously, his voice betraying the fear he was desperately trying to suppress.

“If you want to,” Ivy replied, her tone serious as she briefly glanced at him before turning her attention back to the others.

“Can you take us along with you, please?”

One of the female students suddenly pleaded as she hurried towards Ivy. The moment Ivy walked past her, the girl grabbed her by the legs, refusing to let go as tears streamed down her face.

“We can do anything for you! Just tell us what to do, and we’ll do it! Please, kindly take us with you!” she begged desperately, tightening her grip on Ivy’s legs as though letting go would mean losing her only chance of survival.

Take you all? Ivy thought inwardly, scanning the students with her eyes before letting out a scoff.

She had already seen how frightened and helpless they were. While she could understand their desperation, that didn’t mean she was willing to take responsibility for every single one of them.

“I wouldn’t be able to take you all with me,” she finally replied, her voice firm and serious.

“Even if we offer to show you where the underground medicines are kept, you still wouldn’t take us with you and protect us?” the female student asked, raising an eyebrow as she stared at Ivy with pleading eyes.

She seemed unwilling to give up just yet, desperately searching for something that might convince Ivy to change her mind.

“I can only give you all survival advice,” Ivy replied with a heavy sigh. “I can’t take you all with me, no matter how much you beg.”

“That’s fine, then. If you don’t want to take us with you, we agree.”

Another female student quickly chimed in before the others could continue trying to persuade Ivy. Unlike the rest, she seemed to have accepted Ivy’s decision and was more interested in finding a way to ensure their survival.

“I’ll lead you and your team to the underground storage area so you can collect the medicines,” she offered, stepping forward as she looked directly at Ivy.

“But, Rose…” one of the students began, turning towards her in disbelief.

“Just drop it, you all!” Rose immediately interrupted, shooting the others a stern look. “We can’t force the young lady to take us with her if she doesn’t want to. Besides, she has already promised to give us survival advice, so we should be grateful for that instead of continuing to bother her.”

Rose swallowed hard after speaking, clearly still shaken by everything that had happened. Nevertheless, she forced herself to remain composed before turning her attention back to Ivy.

“Are you ready to go now?” she asked.

Ivy nodded in response, and Rose immediately turned around to lead the way.

Without wasting any more time, Ivy followed closely behind her, with Darren, Erick, Elliot, and several other soldiers trailing after them leaving Desmond and the other students including some soldiers behind.

The journey to the underground storage area was relatively quiet, with everyone remaining alert as they moved through the building.

Once they arrived at the underground storage area, the soldiers Ivy had brought along immediately began collecting all the medicines that were still in good condition. They carefully gathered the drugs and packed them into the backpacks they had brought with them, ensuring that nothing useful was left behind.

Meanwhile, Ivy quietly stored some of the medicines in her own storage space, making sure that nobody noticed what she was doing.

She wasn’t about to leave behind any useful supplies, especially when she had a place to store them without worrying about running out of space.

Besides, she had every intention of taking all the medicines she could find.

There was no reason for her to let those supplies go to waste when they could prove useful to her team in the future.

“Alright, guys. Are you almost done?” Ivy asked as she glanced around the underground storage area.

She had begun to notice that the available space was gradually becoming emptier as the soldiers continued packing the medicines into the backpacks they carried on their backs.

“Yes, Commander!” the soldiers responded almost simultaneously.

“Good!” Ivy replied, nodding in satisfaction.

She glanced around once more, making sure they hadn’t overlooked anything important. With most of the medicines already collected and stored away, there was little reason to remain underground for much longer.

However, just as she was about to say something else, a terrifying sound suddenly echoed through the building.

GROWLS!

The deafening growls of monsters rang out, instantly causing everyone’s expressions to change.

“Ahhhhh!”

Loud screams suddenly erupted from the direction of the room where Ivy had left the other students.

Before anyone could even understand what was happening, the terrified students came rushing into the underground storage area, their faces pale with horror as they desperately ran for their lives.

“The monsters are outside the building on the second floor! We can’t stay here any longer, or we’ll all be killed!” one of the students exclaimed as he knelt in front of Ivy, his face filled with desperation. “Please, we have to get out of here before those things break in!”

“You’d better all keep quiet, or you’ll still end up being eaten by those monsters out there!” Desmond yelled, his voice sharp with irritation.
