Apocalypse: Rebirth With An Infinite Storage System
Chapter 277 You have a space ability you bastard?!
It wasn’t long before they arrived.
The trucks came to a stop, and everyone immediately got off, remaining vigilant as they scanned their surroundings carefully. They knew that monsters could appear from anywhere, and the slightest moment of carelessness could put everyone in danger.
Once they realized that the area outside was clear, they made their way into the building they had already cleared the previous day.
They cautiously entered the first floor and looked around, checking for any monsters that might have come down from the second floor....the floor they hadn’t entered yet.
But there were no monsters.
"Alright. It’s time to clear the second floor," Erick finally announced as he loaded his gun, his expression becoming serious. "We don’t know the kind of monsters we’ll be fighting up there, so I urge everyone to be careful. Don’t let your guard down."
With that warning, everyone made their way up the stairs toward the second floor.
The moment they reached the top, they didn’t waste much time.
They all rushed inside, only to be met with lots of monsters that immediately charged toward them.
"Oh, I’m ready for you motherfuckers!" Darren murmured under his breath, a fierce grin appearing on his face as he raised his gun.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The sharp sound of gunshots immediately rang through the building.
The loud growls of the monsters began dying down one after another as bullets tore through them, severing their heads from their bodies.
Blood splattered everywhere.
The stench was unbearable, filling the entire floor with the horrible smell of monster blood.
Ivy and the others quickly put on their nose masks, trying to protect themselves from the disgusting smell.
Even though the masks weren’t doing much, at least they were still somewhat useful.
"Keep shooting!" Erick shouted as another group of monsters charged toward them.
Bang! Bang!
More gunshots rang out.
The monsters continued dropping one after another until, after much shooting and fighting, the last monster finally collapsed onto the floor.
The second floor was cleared.
Everyone briefly looked around to make sure there were no monsters hiding in the corners or behind any of the machinery before finally relaxing their guard slightly.
"Alright, let’s get to work!" Erick finally voiced out.
The others nodded their heads in response and immediately began moving.
It was a clothing factory, so naturally, the building was filled with different kinds of clothes and fabrics. However, the factory also contained other supplies and necessities since people had worked there before the apocalypse. After all, the things they needed to keep the factory running had been provided for them.
There were still plenty of useful items scattered throughout the building.
The group began moving the supplies into the Fierce Hunter base’s truck as usual.
Everything was going smoothly or at least, it seemed that way not until something suddenly felt off to Ivy.
She stopped what she was doing, her expression changing slightly as she looked around.
"What’s wrong?" Darren immediately asked the moment he noticed the change in expression on Ivy’s face.
Ivy didn’t respond.
Instead, she slowly walked toward Justin and before anyone could understand what she was doing, Ivy raised her hand and delivered another heavy slap directly across Justin’s face.
Smack!
"What?!" Justin’s eyes widened in shock.
"How dare you, bitch?!!" he yelled furiously, instinctively raising his hand as he attempted to slap Ivy back.
But before his hand could reach her, Ivy moved first.
Thud!
She delivered a heavy kick straight into his stomach.
"Ugh!" Justin groaned painfully, immediately stumbling backward as he clutched his stomach.
"What’s wrong, Captain Ivy?" Erick raised an eyebrow, curiosity and confusion appearing on his face. "What did he do this time around?"
"You have a space ability, you bastard!" Ivy announced coldly.
Her words immediately sent waves of shock and utter disbelief through Darren, Erick, and even Justin, who clearly hadn’t expected anyone to find out.
The atmosphere instantly became tense.
Darren’s eyes widened while Erick stared at Justin in disbelief.
Even Justin froze for a brief moment.
Ivy then turned toward a young man with a bald head....one of Justin’s subordinates.
The man possessed the storage ability.
The moment Ivy’s gaze landed on him, he immediately raised his hand, realizing that he had been caught.
Everyone’s attention shifted toward him.
"How could you accuse me of something like that?" Justin demanded, forcing himself to straighten despite the pain in his stomach. "A space ability? What kind of ability is that?"
He raised an eyebrow, anger burning in his eyes as he let out a scoff.
"Really?" Ivy asked, raising an eyebrow as a faint smirk appeared on her lips. "You don’t know what a space ability is? You don’t have anything to do with it? I’m speaking crap?"
"Exactly!" Justin replied quickly, letting out another scoff.
He clearly wasn’t willing to admit anything.
"Thank goodness you’re aware of that," he added sarcastically. "Now get lost! You’re annoying me!"
He stared daggers at Ivy, his expression filled with irritation.
Ivy simply watched him for a moment.
Then, without wasting any more time, she stepped away from Justin.
However, instead of leaving, she moved toward Justin’s subordinate....the bald-headed man with the space ability.
The man immediately became nervous and before he could react, Ivy stepped closer and placed a knife directly against his neck.
