She paused briefly, allowing everyone to take in her words.

"Everything has been prepared with the intention of keeping you warm and protected from the cold."

The residents looked at the enormous sacks with expressions of gratitude.

Some of them were already rubbing their hands together in anticipation.

Ivy continued, her tone becoming slightly more serious.

"And there is something else I want everyone to understand."

The residents immediately focused on her.

"You don’t have to remain outside carrying out tasks as the weather has changed."

She glanced toward the snow-covered grounds.

"Everything that needed to be done has already been completed before winter arrived. The greenhouses are finished, the necessary supplies have been stored, and the base has been properly prepared."

"Keep the doors closed. Dress warmly. Stay indoors whenever possible, and don’t underestimate this weather simply because you’re excited about seeing snow for the first time."

The children who had been eagerly watching the snowfall through the windows lowered their heads slightly.

Ivy couldn’t help but smile at them.

"You can enjoy the snow by looking at it through the windows. You don’t need to freeze yourselves just to play outside."

"Thank you so much, Captain Ivy!" the survivors chorused in unison, unable to contain their excitement any longer.

And you two will be rewarded for your service as well. You’ve both earned double the benefits given to the other survivors," Ivy announced, her words directed toward Darren and Elliot. The two men immediately offered deep bows of respect, genuine smiles of appreciation appearing on their faces. They had worked tirelessly to help manage the base and ensure that everything ran smoothly, so hearing that their efforts had been recognized naturally filled them with satisfaction.

Just then, Ivy turned her gaze toward Mrs. Smith, who immediately understood the signal. Without needing to be told twice, she walked over to Ivy and gently took Hope from her arms. The little girl was already fast asleep, her tiny face peaceful as she rested against Ivy’s chest. If she had still been awake, Hope probably wouldn’t have wanted to leave Ivy’s arms so easily, but fortunately, she was already deep in sleep and barely stirred when Mrs. Smith carefully carried her away.

"You two should handle the distribution," Ivy instructed, turning her attention back toward Darren and Elliot. "I’ll be outside to sort out a few things."

Both men nodded their heads in response.

"Of course, Captain."

"We’ll take care of everything."

With that settled, Ivy turned and began making her way toward the door. She had barely taken a few steps when a small voice suddenly called out to her.

"Where are you going, Mommy?" Aria asked immediately after noticing Ivy was leaving. The little girl hurried closer, her expression filled with concern. "It’s cold outside. And you’re taking Sunny too."

"Bark! Bark! Bark!"

Sunny barked enthusiastically from beside Ivy, his tail wagging happily as though he completely agreed with Aria’s observation but wasn’t particularly bothered by the cold.

"Oh, sweetheart," Ivy said with a gentle smile as she crouched slightly and reached out to pat Aria’s head. "Mommy is fine. I just want to make sure everything else is fine, okay?"

Aria continued staring at her with a worried expression.

"Now go ahead and get your winter clothes. Mommy will be right back," Ivy reassured her, giving her head another gentle pat.

Aria finally nodded in response.

"Okay, Mommy."

Only then did Ivy straighten up and finally step outside, accompanied by Sunny and the six illusion dogs. The moment the door closed behind them, the warmth of the building was replaced by a sharp, freezing wind that immediately swept across her face.

Outside the bunker, the weather was brutally cold....extremely cold.

The moment Ivy stepped outside, she almost considered turning around and returning to the warmth of the villa. The difference between the heated interior and the freezing world outside was almost ridiculous.

But then she reminded herself why she had come out in the first place.

She couldn’t afford to waste time.

Ivy turned her gaze toward Sunny, who was currently shaking his head vigorously in an attempt to brush the snow that had settled on his fur away. The six illusion dogs were doing the same, shaking their bodies and sending tiny clumps of snow flying in different directions.

The sight made Ivy let out a light chuckle.

"We’ll be back inside soon, Sunny," Ivy promised, watching him wag his tail. "But first, we have to practice the teleportation skill."

The open field beyond Hope Base was quiet.

Only the occasional howl of monsters from the distant wilderness continued to break the silence, their eerie cries drifting through the freezing air before being swallowed by the heavy snowfall.

Ivy stood in the middle of the empty field with her hands tucked into the pockets of her jacket, watching the seven dogs gathered several meters away from her. Sunny stood at the front, his golden ears perked up and his eyes fixed intently on Ivy, while the six illusion dogs stood beside him, each one waiting patiently for her command.

"It’s time," Ivy murmured under her breath.

She closed her eyes for a moment.

Instead of looking at a specific destination, Ivy began imagining one in her mind. She pictured the surroundings clearly....the roads, the buildings, the familiar terrain, and the exact place she wanted to reach.

"Let’s go."

Without wasting much time, Ivy took off running through the gate while Sunny and the six illusion dogs followed.

The cold wind whipped against Ivy face, but she paid it no attention as her mind remained focused entirely on the destination she had visualized.

She have to test her teleportation ability.
