Max couldn’t understand what the sudden appearance of the blinding light after touching the statue conveyed.

I guess, I have to visit the Church soon.

However, when he realized that he might miss a day of training, he immediately pondered it more.

He furrowed his eyebrows and contemplated for a while.

Finally, he concluded. I have to contact the Commander about enhancing the training courtyard first. If I can settle everything by tomorrow, I will include visiting the Church.

Max finally concluded of visiting the Church by tomorrow.

Right now, what he must do was to complete the meditation first before being forced to log out.

After settling his mind, he finally summoned the Mage corps and Damon and Fiora.

Five of his Radiant Knights appeared before him without a confused expression on their faces.

Jeremiah and others had definitely informed them of the purpose of their summoned.

Max didn’t dilly-dally and had them find a meditation benches.

As they proceeded to search for their meditation benches, Max grabbed an incense pack and tossed it to the blessed incense burner.

With his Radiant Mana, he lit up the blessed incense burner and the smoke released contained dense divine mana.

Max had already examined the incense before, he perceived they were similar to a grounded mana crystal.

Albeit their strange utilization was different than ordinary mana crystals.

Max turned around and discovered that his Radiant Knights were already praying.

He smiled and glanced at the statue, before continuing to meditate.

...

After four hours of meditating, the rewards were immense.

Max already felt like he was about to reach the next proficiency level on his passive skills, while he accumulated 10,000 EXP points in two sessions of meditation.

To level up required more than 40,000 EXP, so he still needed three twice session.

In other words, his reclusion would still level him up, not allowing other players to catch up to him.

Max grinned, delighted by the positive result of his training.

Both him and his Radiant Knights could be strengthened greatly.

His reclusion was definitely the best choice for improving rapidly.

After feeling over the moon, he recalled them to his Conclave Network and logged out of the game.

...

April 5, 2028. 7:25pm.

Max logged out of the game, extremely hungry.

He smiled bitterly. Still, this should be considered as intermittent fasting.

After gaslighting himself, he sighed.

Since the players are progressing rapidly, I hope the Eclipse Immersion Pod will come out early this time.

One of the features of the Eclipse Immersion Pod was automated micronutrient injection, allowing for 24-hours continuous immersion support.

As the player progress, so was the difficulty of advancing higher class.

That was why players needed to invest more time in the game. Aethernova was aware of the demand of higher quality gaming pod that allowed the players to stay inside the game for many hours straight, producing quality after quality in the span of five years.

The Eclipse Immersion Pod, an elite quality equipment, was released by next year.

Max hoped that it would be released within this year.

He didn’t dwell on it deeply as he crawled out of his gaming pod and left the room.

Just in time he heard a clanging noise below, and had an idea that Auntie Sarah and Enzo were probably having a dinner.

When he arrived in the dining room, he was right.

Auntie Sarah and Enzo paused when they appeared.

Thankfully, Auntie Sarah had already anticipated he would come out the gaming pod at any moment with the help of Cassie and had prepared the utensils for Max.

Auntie Sarah immediately invited him and Max joined for dinner.

As Max ate with them, Enzo, after hesitating for a while, finally spoke up.

"Brother, my classmates have been nagging me of the reason behind your wealth.

I couldn’t hide my car, you see.

At first, I just ignored them and always tried to divert the topic, but...

One of my classmates, after asking again, suddenly speculated that you are involved into something illegal.

I didn’t have a choice but to reveal the source of your income.

Although they wouldn’t believe me, I said what’s true.

Do you think I’m wrong for revealing your job you seemed to be hiding?"

Enzo concluded simply because he had an idea that the most popular figure in Apocalypse Online was probably his brother.

After he conducted research of the possible players who could earn a lot based on what he had seen from his elder brother, only the First Player, hated by other players, fit to the description.

His curiosity on the reasons behind the hatred towards his brother also led him to continue delving to his research, allowing him to receive answers.

As he discovered that his brother was deliberately hiding his identity, he grew worried after accidentally revealing his brother’s job to his classmate.

He was afraid that the first player’s real identity would be exposed.

Though he didn’t mention about his brother’s player name, but it would only be a matter of time before his classmates connected the dots.

Max glanced at his brother and was surprised.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Nevermind. It will be exposed anyway. In fact, some should already be aware."

Such as the pentagon.

Max already had an idea or two of the impact he caused for being the leading player in Apocalypse Online.

Even then, the pentagon couldn’t possibly connect him to be the perpetrator behind the appearance of Apocalypse Online.

Even when they interrogate him, he genuinely didn’t have knowledge how Apocalypse Online appeared.

It was not revealed, until the apocalypse descended.

If he was asked the reason, then he would simply respond in a way that he was asked who was behind Apocalypse Online.

An answer that would clear any suspicions thrown at him.

Max was also curious behind the existence who launched Apocalypse Online, allowing them to defend themselves against the appearance of space rifts and other superior races.

Enzo was surprised by his brother’s response.

Nevertheless, since he had already said so, Enzo heaved a sigh of relief...
