Apocalypse: I Built a City of Sin

Apocalypse — Chapter 65: Outer City Construction Unlocked

“What is Outer City construction authority?”

【The Host may construct an Outer City beyond the City of Sin. The Outer City Wall cannot exceed the level of the Inner City Wall. Price: 1 Apocalypse Coin per square meter.】

Xiao Yi understood.

He could now construct an Outer City Wall beyond the City of Sin, creating a shelter outside the Inner City.

That would allow him to cultivate his own forces in the Outer City.

And more importantly...

An army of his own!

Xiao Yi checked his remaining Apocalypse Coins. After deducting what he had just spent from his balance of more than four hundred, only thirty-six remained.

An Outer City of thirty-six square meters would be utterly pointless.

For the time being, Xiao Yi abandoned the idea of constructing it. He drove the Slaughterer Armored Vehicle out through the city gates.

The three-day deadline had arrived. He planned to visit the beautiful Professor Lu Yurou.

If Lu Yurou was willing to submit to him, Xiao Yi would gladly bring her back to the classroom and relive those wonderful urges he had experienced during her lessons.

He could finally do what he had only dreamed about back then and fulfill an old fantasy.

But if Lu Yurou still preferred death over submission, he could not be bothered wasting more words on her.

He had no shortage of women now. If Lu Yurou had not been so alluring and distinctive, he would not even have bothered visiting her a second time.

When Xiao Yi’s armored vehicle appeared outside the faculty dormitory, the survivors inside erupted in cheers.

Many people who had remained hidden in their rooms began shouting to the armored vehicle for help.

Lu Yurou was among them.

When she saw the fierce, domineering armored vehicle slaughtering zombies as it approached the faculty dormitory, relief flooded through her, and excited tears spilled from her eyes.

“It’s the military! The military must have sent someone to rescue us!”

Lu Yurou leaned out the window and shouted excitedly, her eyes brimming with tears.

“Long live the country! Long live the army! I knew they wouldn’t forget us! I knew they would come save us!”

The other survivors embraced one another with tears in their eyes, cheering excitedly.

Several shut-ins even brought out half a bottle of cola they had been hoarding and toasted one another before drinking it down.

The armored vehicle, however, completely ignored them and came to a stop outside the faculty dormitory entrance.

The survivors watched it halt, and then a young man carrying a long-handled modao climbed out.

The moment the young man appeared, the zombies seemed overwhelmed by a terrifying pressure. They retreated one after another, and the dense horde surrounding the armored vehicle instantly opened into an empty circle.

That young man was naturally Xiao Yi.

“Idiots,” Xiao Yi cursed disdainfully at the excited survivors before looking around.

Apart from the shut-ins, people in two rooms of the men’s dormitory were waving to him.

There were also survivors waving from two rooms on the third floor of the faculty dormitory.

Both rooms contained men and women who, judging by their ages, were probably teachers.

Xiao Yi was somewhat surprised that so many people at the university were still alive.

But it had nothing to do with him.

He gave them only a passing glance before looking away.

Lu Yurou was the only survivor here who interested him. He had no desire to acknowledge the rest.

Xiao Yi turned toward the room where Lu Yurou was staying.

Lu Yurou saw him as well. Her face turned deathly pale, and her eyes filled with disappointment.

Xiao Yi smiled calmly, turned, and entered the faculty dormitory.

When he appeared outside Lu Yurou’s room again, she was sitting inside in a daze. His arrival startled her. Xiao Yi noticed that she seemed distracted and in far worse condition than before.

Although Lu Yurou had enough food and water, she had spent far too long alone in a sealed room without the slightest hope for the future. That would drive any normal person mad, let alone someone whose mind was as active as hers.

Xiao Yi lightly tapped on the glass. Lu Yurou rose nervously, then hurried forward and opened the door without the slightest hesitation.

Xiao Yi was mildly surprised. After what had happened last time, he had expected her to refuse to let him in.

Yet she opened the door immediately.

“Student Xiao, what did you do to me after knocking me unconscious last time?” Lu Yurou grabbed him and demanded an answer, both ashamed and furious.

“I raped you. I touched every part of your body.” Xiao Yi teased her with a smile. “Professor Lu, your skin is incredibly smooth.”

Lu Yurou’s face turned ashen. Trembling from head to toe, she stared at him in pain.

“Is that true? Then why were my clothes intact? And... why didn’t I feel anything? You must be lying! You would never do that to me! Right?”

By the end, Lu Yurou’s face had begun to redden.
