Apocalypse — Chapter 31: C-rank Agility-Type Zombie

“AH!!!” The remaining three boys let out a scream of terror and turned to run back the way they had come.

But it was already too late. A huge pack of zombies charged madly up from the stairwell and swallowed the remaining three in an instant.

“C-rank zombies!”

The zombies that had just burst out were clearly already evolved.

And they were different from the burly zombie from before.

Tang Jingyan was a girl, after all. Some of the iron machines were too heavy. Even with wheels, she still could not push them.

“So we block these zombies. Then what? Don’t we still starve to death up here?” said the girl called Jing Qiao, giving up on herself.

Tang Jingyan had no choice. She could only keep putting her strength into pushing one abandoned exercise machine toward the door.

Tang Jingyan’s effort did, in fact, work.

Under the successive attacks of the two C-rank agility-types’ sharp claws, a hole was finally torn in the iron door. One zombie shoved its head through—but it happened to get smashed back out by the exercise machine Tang Jingyan had just pushed into place.

The hole was blocked again.

An enraged roar came from outside the iron door. The two C-rank agility-type zombies began attacking the door even more frenziedly.

The hole that had just been plugged started widening again under the claws.

CLANG-CLANG-CLANG-CLANG. The sound of metal striking metal did not stop.

“AH!!!” Seeing a zombie’s savage head push through again, the girl who had been hiding in the corner finally could not take the string of shocks. She scrambled up as if she had gone mad, copied what Xiao Yi had done, climbed onto the drainpipe, and tried to escape by the pipe.
