Chapter 586: Recreating The Fire God's Attack; The Meteorfall Continent
With the experience from the previous two attempts, Lin Moyu didn’t hesitate this time.
He gripped the Solidified Fire God’s Blood Essence tightly in his hand and locked onto a monster a thousand meters away.
Skill: Corpse Explosion!
The skill activated smoothly. With a sharp crack, the Solidified Fire God’s Blood Essence shattered into fragments.
In the same instant, the distant monster ignited in roaring flames and was reduced to ashes in the blink of an eye.
A faint breeze swept past, blowing the ashes away.
Antares abruptly raised his head, eyes narrowing on the scorched spot.
“That… that was the Fire God’s power.”
“Your skill invoked the Fire God’s might. For a moment, it felt as if he had returned himself.”
“Back then, the Fire God stood at level 92, just shy of ascending to a mid-tier God.”
“Your skill didn’t surpass that limit either. It’s on par with the Fire God’s own strike.”
A gleam flashed in Lin Moyu’s eyes. His suspicions were confirmed.
The power of laws was integrated into Corpse Explosion, allowing it to recreate an attack once belonging to the Fire God, despite the God having fallen long ago.
Though it couldn’t exceed the Fire God’s peak strengt—even with talent amplification—it was more than enough.
After all, this was just a single drop of solidified blood essence.
In short, the skill was terrifyingly strong.
And the fusion rate was only at 20%; once it rose, its power would grow exponentially.
For a fleeting moment, Lin Moyu felt a wild illusion. With enough corpses… he could blow up the entire world.
Antares uttered, “In terms of survivability and offensive power, you’re among the very best class users I’ve ever seen.”
“At your level, no one can match you. As long as you don’t go seeking death, you won’t die.”
“Alright, you’re level 70 now, and your third class awakening is over. I’ve fulfilled my part of the deal. Now it’s your turn.”
Lin Moyu smiled faintly, “Of course. Send me to the lower layer.”
“But this time, don’t throw me into another deathtrap. I’d rather not run into a world rank boss the moment I arrive.”
Antares snorted impatiently, “Yeah, I know. The Dragon King Palace and the Primordial Space are both in the lower layer, on the Meteorfall Continent.”
“The Meteorfall Continent is a dangerous place, but you’ll manage.”
Lin Moyu asked, curious, “Didn’t you say I should only head to the Primordial Space once I was near God-level?”
“Who knew your strength would skyrocket so fast?” Antares grumbled, “Your soul force already surpasses some level 89 guys, and your combat power too. You’re more than qualified now.”
Lin Moyu nodded, “Understood. Thank you.”
“Thank my ass. Now get lost!”
With a dismissive snort, Antares opened a spatial channel effortlessly before flinging Lin Moyu inside.
“Be careful in the Dragon King Palace.”
“The Primordial Space is relatively safe, so you can act freely and don’t need to hold back.”
…
The Meteorfall Continent was the most dangerous of the four continents in the lower layer.
It was a land of endless chaos, shrouded in peril.
Little was known about this place. After all, few humans ever ventured here.
Even the Abyssal Demons and the Dragonkind avoided it unless absolutely necessary.
“The greatest danger of the Meteorfall Continent comes from the sky.”
Lin Moyu recalled that line from the scarce data he’d read.
Instinctively, he looked up—just in time to see a streak of light tear across the heavens.
It moved at a terrifying speed, over ten thousand meters per second, before crashing less than three thousand meters away.
A blinding flash lit up the land, followed moments later by a thunderous roar and a violent shockwave.
His Bone Armor flared, holding for barely two seconds before shattering.
The blast hurled Lin Moyu back hundreds of meters, the impacts rippling through him in relentless waves.
The damage was weakened by his skill and redirected to his undead army, causing them little harm.
When the shockwaves faded, he dashed toward the impact site.
There, a colossal crater, over a hundred meters wide, scarred the earth.
“That was on par with a level 85 world boss attack.” He muttered, impressed.
Though such force meant little to him now, it would devastate even peak-level level 85 class users.
Standing at the crater’s edge, Lin Moyu looked skyward.
“No wonder it’s said the danger here comes from above.”
“Only level 86 or level 87 peak-level class users can even operate in this place.”
He had been on the Meteorfall Continent for less than two minutes, and already several streaks of light had fallen from the sky.
Each streak of light was a meteor plummeting at impossible speed, nearly impossible to evade.
And this was only the outer perimeter. Deeper in, the meteors would come faster, strike harder, and grow deadlier.
Before his eyes, the shattered ground began to mend itself.
The ground of the Immemorial Battlefield held self-healing traits.
Lin Moyu didn’t advance further. Instead, he chose this spot to grind his skills.
He still needed to visit the Dragon King Palace to retrieve the Dragon Bead for Antares. He also had to visit the Primordial Space.
However, neither task was urgent.
After reaching level 70, in addition to awakening a new talent, sublimating his class, and pushing his attributes beyond their limits, he had also gained three new skills.
But, he hadn’t yet had a proper chance to review his attributes and grind his new skills
Now was the perfect time.
With his boundless spirit force, grinding skills posed no strain.
So long as a skill didn’t have an absurd cooldown like Lightning Deathwings, he could max it out in no time.
Skill: Summon Headless Knight.
Dark wind swept through the air, carrying the echo of galloping hooves and the grating sound of bone scraping against metal.
From within the dark wind, a portal ignited with flickering flames.
Out rode a towering, three-meter-tall rider clad in white bone armor, sword and shield in hand, astride a skeletal warhorse.
The rider had no head, only an empty neck, radiating chilling malice.
The skeletal warhorse beneath it burned with silver-white fire that licked up its legs, half-shrouding its form in ghostly flame.
Even motionless, the pair exuded suffocating menace.
At level 1, the Headless Knight already emanated crushing pressure, an impressive new addition to the undead army.
Lin Moyu was satisfied. Its undead aura was far stronger than that of ordinary skeletons, reminiscent of the Skeletal King’s terrifying presence.
He didn’t bother checking its attributes yet.
The skill was only level 1, summoning an Iron Headless Knight for now.
As the skill advanced, its attributes would change accordingly, and abilities might also evolve.
There was no point in looking now.
The eerie wind howled as Lin Moyu continuously cast Summon Headless Knights. The skill leveled rapidly.
At Level 70, his attributes had doubled, and many traits had transformed.
His summon space now reached 2,400, allowing each Lich General under his command to lead 2,400 troops.
With 50 Lich Generals, his undead army’s size had expanded to 120,000, though it wasn’t yet filled.
The Headless Knight joined as a new unit of the undead army.
Lin Moyu distributed the ranks evenly: 30,000 for each type of skeleton and 30,000 Headless Knights.
As Summon Headless Knight’s level increased, the eerie wind grew more violent.
Black undead aura continuously gathered above Lin Moyu into a black cloud, radiating the aura of death.
Silver-white flames flickered in and out of existence, a strange contrast against the backdrop of the Meteorfall Continent.
Fortunately, the Continent was mostly uninhabited. Apart from streaks of meteors constantly falling from the sky, there was nothing else around.
During Lin Moyu’s relentless grinding, several more meteors struck nearby, their shockwaves shaking the earth.
But even they couldn’t disperse the black cloud formed by undead aura.
