The air was filled with a stench like that of a rural latrine, so foul it made one want to retch uncontrollably.

Just then, Perry Yates quickly activated her Cold Moon Guardian, sealing off the disgusting odor. That made things a little better.

But the initial shock still lingered. Many people hadn’t yet recovered, and they remained on the ground, gagging and heaving until tears streamed from their eyes.

At that moment, the culprit—the Executor outside—launched its attack. Its enormous, filth-covered body charged recklessly inside, destroying all the defensive barricades the players had previously erected in an instant.

Moreover, this Executor had clearly learned from past encounters. While it didn’t possess overwhelming attack power, its body was the largest and its defense the strongest compared to the previous Executors.

Perhaps because it was so thick-skinned, all of their attacks were useless against it, even though the Executor was only surrounded by foul-smelling filth.

Even Perry Yates’s Moon Blades could only leave a tiny gash on its body, and the wound would heal almost immediately.

For a moment, Perry Yates was at a loss for what to do about the giant maggot. It seemed that none of their current attack methods could inflict any significant damage.

If that was the case, there was only one option left.

Since their current abilities couldn’t hurt it, they had to unlock other Skill Cards as quickly as possible.

Perry Yates and the other players turned their attention to the Croupiers who had charged in along with it.

Although Perry Yates’s barrier protected them from the stench, they had to leave its protection to attack.

Those with ranged attacks had it a bit better, as they could attack from within the barrier. But the players who relied on close-quarters combat were miserable, forcing themselves to fight through waves of nausea.

When they saw the other Executors were all fully equipped with protective gear, the players’ nausea turned into fury.

’Dammit! We’re about to puke our guts out from the stink, and you guys are completely unaffected, wearing those masks!’

Fueled by this thought, the players erupted with unprecedented combat power.

With Perry Yates providing support with her Space-Time Gate and Wargod Kai, the number of injuries and deaths was significantly reduced.

As they watched the mission progress bar steadily climb, it finally reached fifty percent, allowing them to unlock two more Skill Cards.

After a moment of hesitation, Perry Yates chose Thorny Rose and Seed of Life.

Since she couldn’t break through its defenses head-on, she would have to resort to more insidious methods.

As soon as the two Card Abilities were unlocked, Perry Yates immediately activated them.

Thorny Rose and Bicolor Rose activated in tandem, firmly binding the maggot that was rampaging across the ground.

It was easier said than done. The creature’s body was so massive that the vines’ resilience was nothing before its strength. Perry Yates could only continuously increase the number of vines.

Fortunately, the others didn’t just stand by and watch. Seeing that Perry Yates had managed to restrain the "maggot" on her own, they all rushed to help.

At that moment, Perry Yates glanced at the red moon in the sky. The Moon Blade in her hand suddenly split into countless copies, all flying toward the creature’s exposed skin.

The Moon Blades sliced through its skin, instantly creating a deep gash on its filth-covered hide from which green liquid oozed out.

A twenty-centimeter wound seemed utterly insignificant on its enormous body, and it was already healing at a visible rate.

This time, however, just as the wound was about to close completely, something prevented it from healing. A moment later, a plant sprouted forth—it was blue, with two fleshy leaves covered in distinct veins.

This wasn’t an isolated incident. These blue plants began to sprout from all over the Executor’s body.

They grew with incredible speed. In just two or three breaths, they shot up from a two-leafed seedling to a half-meter-tall adult plant, bearing fruits that contained energy.

As everyone created more and more wounds, more and more Seeds of Life began to sprout.

And as the number of Seeds of Life increased, the creature’s movements clearly began to slow down.

Just then, the other Executors noticed the problem and tried to clear the Seeds of Life from their companion’s body. But there was no way Perry Yates would let them succeed.

Her Moon Blades split once more, this time targeting the other Executors.

This time, however, Perry Yates wasn’t aiming to kill them. Instead, she used the Moon Blades to destroy the protective suits they were wearing.

Instantly, the Executors who had just been fighting the players looked as if they’d been struck over the head. Their minds grew dizzy, and they couldn’t help but start to gag and retch.

The players, on the other hand, while still finding the smell foul and nauseating, had started to get used to it after spending so much time in it.

Seizing the moment while the Executors were distracted, the players immediately struck, cutting down all the surrounding Executors.

In a flash, nearly two-thirds of the Executors on the battlefield were gone. The remaining third were swatted to death by the "maggot," which thrashed its massive body around as if it had been provoked.

The creature, which they had just managed to restrain, had seemed to be losing its strength. But when it saw its companions’ protective suits destroyed and heard them retching, its body suddenly erupted with primordial power.

This time, however, its target wasn’t the players, but the other Executors. It was a frenzied, suicidal attack, meant to take them all down with it.

At that moment, Safety Butler 001 finally completed its scan and generated a detailed report.

[Name: Pixie Fruit Fly (Juvenile State)

Description: The Pixie Fruit Fly is a special race in the universe. They are not elves, but their adult form bears a strong resemblance to elves, and they can use special Magic.

Adult Pixie Fruit Flies are tiny, only about the size of a palm, but in their juvenile stage, they are enormous. They prefer to live in foul-smelling environments to hide from natural predators.

Pixie Fruit Flies are a very prideful race. Any act of contempt towards them will be met with their frenzied retaliation, especially when it comes from friends.

Weakness: Do not wear a mask in front of a Pixie Fruit Fly. It will cause them to lose all reason and go berserk.]

After reading the report, Perry Yates looked down to see the juvenile Pixie Fruit Fly finish off the last Executor.

Seeing this, she couldn’t help but accelerate the absorption speed of the Seeds of Life.
