Staring at the pile of materials, Moira Lynch took a deep breath. Right now, she desperately wanted to travel back in time over a month ago and slap her past self silly.

Of course, even more than slapping herself, she wanted to slap the three people who had gotten her into this mess.

This was just great. At this rate, it would probably take her a year or more to finish.

Moira Lynch started crafting, muttering and cursing all the while. Little did she know that because she was always griping while making the weapons, her mood was affecting her spiritual power, which in turn was affecting the batch of weapons she was forging.

And because of this, the Federation’s first batch of powerful but extremely defiant weapons came into being.

Across the galaxy, it had always been people who chose their weapons. But this batch was different. Only those they deemed worthy could wield them. Otherwise, heh heh…

During the first month, Moira Lynch spent every day muttering and cursing.

By the second month, she had learned to find herself some helpers. The little fox, Moon Wheel, and even the Spiritual Bodies of Shane Rhodes, Hugh Finch, and Kai York were roped into service.

With students to teach, Moira Lynch’s third month passed quite happily. But this happiness didn’t last long, because the sheer number of weapons that needed to be made was simply overwhelming.

During this period, Dustin Foster and Jeanette Norris even came to discuss adding more to their original order, saying the price was negotiable, only to get an earful from Moira Lynch.

In contrast, Yarrow’s attitude was much better. Not only did he tell Moira Lynch not to rush and to take her time, but he even suggested she could work on the other two’s orders first.

Although his tone was a little two-faced, Moira Lynch found it quite pleasant to hear.

‘Who says being two-faced is a bad thing? It’s a great thing! You only think it’s bad because you’re not the one they’re being nice to.’

Given how sensible Yarrow was, Moira’s opinion of him improved considerably. The main reason was that the misunderstanding between her little fox and his White Lion had been cleared up.

Without the little fox’s influence, and since Moira Lynch herself was a sucker for a pretty face and found Yarrow’s looks irresistible, she made a decision: Yarrow would get the best of everything.

‘Heh heh, when the time comes and the three of them compare their weapons, the looks on the other two’s faces will be priceless.’

As they say, when people are up to no good, they suddenly find all the energy and ingenuity they need.

Just thinking about the looks on their faces made Moira Lynch eager with anticipation, filling her with a surge of motivation.

To see it happen sooner, Moira Lynch even taught herself the Clone Technique, using her spiritual power to create doppelgangers of herself.

Ultimately, with the help of her two clones and her various spiritual assistants, she managed to cut the original production time in half.

When it was time to notify the three of them to pick up their orders, Moira Lynch made a special request: be sure to give her feedback on their user experience right away!

And that very day, Moira Lynch received three very different user experience reports.

From Yarrow, naturally, everything was normal. His feedback was filled with nothing but gratitude.

Furthermore, to show his gratitude, he had prepared a small gift for Moira Lynch and insisted she accept it.

As for the other two, things didn’t go nearly as smoothly.

Moira Lynch would never tarnish her own reputation, so the weapons had no major defects. However, there were quite a few minor, insignificant quirks.

But as long as one mastered the proper way to use them, these little quirks wouldn’t hinder their performance; in fact, they would actually enhance the weapons’ power.

Moira Lynch read through the messages from the other two, a smirk never leaving her face. Only then did she leisurely send over the detailed instruction manual.

After spending a full six months on Cloudsea Planet, she finally had some free time. She decided to take a look around the planet first.

Over the past half-year, Cloudsea Planet had developed just as she had envisioned. The landmass formed by the Qio Vines was constantly expanding, with old Qio Vines dying off and new ones growing in their place.

Like coral polyps, they accumulated bit by bit, gradually connecting the small, scattered islands into a larger continent.

As for building houses…

Moira Lynch had no intention of constructing buildings on Cloudsea Planet; she planned to continue using Elf Tree Houses.

Speaking of Elf Tree Houses, something suddenly occurred to Moira Lynch. She opened her Intelligent Brain and contacted Eleanor Vaughn, whom she hadn’t spoken to in a long time, to ask if the Elven Race had any mutated Elf Seeds.

Eleanor Vaughn’s reply came quickly. Not only did they have them, they had a lot.

The Elven Race had recently suffered an attack by interstellar pirates. Although not many Elves were injured, the Elf Mother Tree had been harmed.

The wound wasn’t large and was quickly repaired, but the damage had caused a problem with the Elf Mother Tree. For a period of time, all the seeds it produced were bizarrely shaped.

These Elf Tree Seeds couldn’t be planted.

Fortunately, the Elf Mother Tree soon returned to normal, but the seeds produced during that time had once again filled their storehouses to the brim.

Seeing Eleanor Vaughn’s reply, Moira Lynch became very excited. She offered to help them dispose of those mutated Elf Tree Seeds for free.

Eleanor Vaughn, of course, had no objection. To be honest, they had been worrying about how to get rid of these Elf Tree Seeds.

Simply destroying them was out of the question.

The shells of Elf Tree Seeds were extremely hard, making them very difficult to destroy, let alone in such large quantities.

After getting a positive response, Moira Lynch immediately prepared to spring into action, unable to wait.

However, before she left, she first needed to make a trip back to Veridian Prime to return the three Spiritual Bodies to their rightful owners.

On her way to return the Spiritual Bodies, she happened to run into Shane Rhodes and Kai York, who had come to see if she was back yet.

Upon seeing Moira Lynch, both of their faces lit up with joy.

“Moira, you’re finally out! Are the weapons finished?” Kai York asked.

Moira Lynch nodded. “They’re done. And it’s all thanks to the help from your Spiritual Bodies.”

“That’s good to hear. You have no idea how bored the boss and I have been while you were gone. Hugh Finch isn’t around either.”

“Hugh Finch isn’t here? Where did he go?” Moira Lynch asked, her curiosity piqued.

“Oh, him? He was conscripted by The Federal Government a while ago. He’s crazy busy now.”

‘The Federal Government?’

‘Conscripted?’

Hearing these two familiar yet distant words, Moira Lynch paused for a moment. But she quickly seemed to realize something and asked, “His adventurer rank didn’t hit S-rank, did it?”

Shane Rhodes nodded. “That’s right. He hit S-rank.”

“Moira, you should have seen it. The person who came to pick up Hugh Finch was beaming. We heard them say it’s been a long time since The Federation has had a new S-rank adventurer.”

‘Of course it has,’ Moira thought. ‘After all, who would want to be a workhorse for them?’
