But ostracism is meant for a single person. When there are two, three, or four of you, can it still be called ostracism?

So, Moira Lynch and her group didn’t feel upset about being ostracized. On the contrary, with no one bothering them, they felt completely at ease.

Ironically, the female player who had initiated the ostracism was the one feeling miserable.

Faced with the other player’s accusation, Moira Lynch didn’t argue. It was a fact, after all, that they were eating slowly and holding up the person responsible for washing the dishes.

She simply took an empty food container out of her storage, packed her meal inside it, and placed the now-empty tray in front of the other person.

The look Moira Lynch gave the player seemed to say, ’There. Happy now?’

Seeing this, Shane Rhodes and the others followed suit, taking out empty food containers to pack away their food before handing over their empty trays.

Wasting food was out of the question. Even though they were in a game, conserving food had already become a habit for these players.

So, seeing Moira Lynch and her group pack their food into containers didn’t strike the player who’d come to rush them as odd. Instead, they felt a twinge of regret.

After all, in the few days since boarding the ship, the food had been getting progressively worse, and many people had come to realize the importance of food.

But they didn’t have much money on them, and they hadn’t been able to buy any food back at the port even if they’d wanted to. All they could do was save from their regular meals.

After that player left, Moira Lynch and her group stood on the deck, looking out at the calm sea.

The stare from behind them hadn’t vanished, so they couldn’t openly take out their food to eat.

And returning to their rooms now would look like they were slacking off.

Suddenly, as if struck by an idea, Moira Lynch took a box out of her storage. "I have some energy blocks here. Want to try some?"

These were the energy blocks she had obtained earlier in the game.

She had eaten some of them since then but still had a portion left.

"Thanks, Moira."

Joy Rhodes gave Moira Lynch a polite smile, then picked up an energy block and popped it into her mouth.

In no time, the box of energy blocks was empty.

That evening, Moira Lynch arrived at the dining hall for dinner as usual.

Tonight’s dinner, besides the usual rice and fish, was missing the green vegetables but included a new one.

Moira Lynch picked some up with her chopsticks and tried it. The taste was very similar to a potato.

"Patience, what is this?"

[Yellow Potato, a plant that grows underground. Its function is comparable to the potatoes of Caelus, but it is over ten times larger. It grows rapidly, has a high yield, a short growth cycle, and is resistant to both high and low temperatures.

Research has shown that the Yellow Potato is suitable for growth in nutrient-poor soil with scarce water. Nutrient-rich soil and excessive water may cause the Yellow Potato to rot during its growth process.]

After hearing the description of the Yellow Potato, Moira Lynch was stunned. ’There’s actually a crop like this?’

"Patience, the Yellow Potato won’t make already barren land even more barren, will it?"

[No. On the contrary, any land where Yellow Potatoes have been grown will gradually improve.]

Hearing this, Moira Lynch made up her mind. She absolutely had to get her hands on this Yellow Potato.

After finishing dinner, Moira Lynch returned to her room.

Sitting cross-legged on her bed, Moira Lynch closed her eyes and extended her spiritual power. She had already familiarized herself with the entire ship’s layout over the past few days, so she found the food storage area with ease.

’So many Yellow Potatoes.’

The entire area beneath the deck was filled with Yellow Potatoes and another type of food.

Seeing this, Moira Lynch didn’t get greedy. After all, the people on board had to survive on this food for the next three months. She only took two of them, along with two of the other food item.

She took out the two Yellow Potatoes. Each one weighed dozens of pounds, looked like a massively enlarged potato, and even smelled like one.

After reviewing the information on the Yellow Potato and its cultivation methods, Moira Lynch felt more and more certain that this was basically an alien version of a potato.

But then a problem arose. The Yellow Potato could only be grown in barren soil, and her storage space didn’t meet that requirement at all.

’Looks like I’ll have to wait until I get back to deal with this.’

Then there was the other food item.

After putting the Yellow Potatoes back into her storage, she took out the other food item.

This thing was about the same size as a Yellow Potato.

But while the Yellow Potato was round, this one was long.

’Isn’t this just a giant sweet potato?’

[Sweet Fruit: Easy to plant, durable for storage, and high-yield. It is one of the favorite foods of the Giant Lapine Tribe.

Not only the fruit, but the leaves and vines of the Sweet Fruit are also edible.]

To have obtained two high-yield crops so soon after the game started, Moira Lynch nodded in satisfaction.

She got up to clean the dirt from the floor, then went to the window.

The window in Moira Lynch’s room happened to have a view of the sea below.

She closed her eyes again and retrieved the automatic fishing device she had deployed earlier.

Looking at the various types of fish in the fishing device, she moved the edible ones into her storage to keep them alive and threw the rest back into the sea.

And so, about half a month passed. Everything was calm and uneventful, and everyone gradually adapted to life at sea.

One day, the captain came out while everyone was eating.

Looking at the chubby captain, she thought, ’If I remember correctly, this is only the second time we’ve seen him.’

The first time was on the day they boarded, when the captain welcomed them. After that, he had stayed on the bridge the entire time.

’For him to suddenly appear today, he must have something important to announce.’

At this thought, Moira Lynch felt a twinge of regret. If she had known, she would have paid more attention to the bridge and the captain’s quarters.

The captain cleared his throat, drawing everyone’s eyes and attention to him.

"AHEM. After today, we will be entering uncharted territory. From here on, the safety of the cargo ship will be in your hands."

Although it was just a very short sentence, the information it revealed was by no means small.

"Captain, do you mean the route ahead is completely unexplored?"

Hearing this, the captain gave her a look as if she were an idiot, as if to say, ’Isn’t that obvious?’

’Besides, have you forgotten what you’re even here for?’

’If we were taking a known route, what would we need you for?’

Seeing the captain ignore her, the female player realized she had said something stupid. She lowered her head in embarrassment, secretly holding a grudge against the captain for making her lose face.

After making his announcement, the captain swaggered away, leaving the players standing there looking at each other, at a loss.

"What the captain just said was probably a reminder that the voyage ahead might be dangerous, and that we should be on high alert."
