If Moira Lynch were here right now, she wouldn’t have been able to resist the urge to fling the mystery box in her hand right at that woman’s eggplant-like face.

At the same time, Moira Lynch suddenly felt a faint malice coming from all directions.

Moira Lynch looked around warily. ’Am I being watched?’

Without the help of her spiritual power, the packing job was undoubtedly tedious.

Before long, Moira Lynch started to yawn.

This was even more boring than picking up cow dung back on the farm.

At least picking up cow dung required no skill. You could let your mind wander and it wouldn’t affect your work.

But packing these mystery boxes involved three different tasks: folding the boxes, grabbing the Fangfei Silk, and placing the items inside.

’Oh, right. There’s also putting on the lid and placing the mystery box at the Teleportation port.’

Moira Lynch realized this wasn’t going to work. Her speed was abysmal. She immediately changed her strategy.

First, she folded over a hundred boxes in one go, then filled them all with Fangfei Silk.

Finally, depending on the size of the items, she’d place two or three in each mystery box, close the lids, and send them all off together.

Just like that, her speed increased significantly.

"If only a few more people could come and help," Moira Lynch lamented.

The words had barely left Moira Lynch’s mouth when the quiet room began to flash with colorful lights, followed by a mechanical voice.

"If you feel you are unable to complete your work, you may hire a robot to assist you. For just one silver coin, you can hire a robot for one hour."

Moira Lynch blinked, stunned. ’What does that mean?’

’If I remember correctly, I came here to work. And now they want me to pay for a robot to do my job for me?’

’Something about this feels wrong.’

’If Tarmir has robots, then why hire players like us?’

’Is it because we’re cheaper?’

’The robot said it costs one silver coin per hour. We have to work here for five days, but our wages are still unknown.’

’But based on the wages players received in previous rounds, very few ever earned Gold Coins. Most were paid in silver coins.’

’But a robot working nonstop for five days would cost 120 silver coins. That’s equivalent to one Gold Coin and twenty silver coins.’

’By that math, we players are just cheap labor.’

Of course, Moira Lynch was still unaware that her wages had already been cut in half without her knowledge.

Right now, Moira Lynch desperately wanted to just drop everything and quit. But she couldn’t. Beggars can’t be choosers, after all.

If that’s how it was going to be, then she’d just have to find another way to make up for it.

This thought only strengthened Moira Lynch’s resolve to finish the task as quickly as possible.

So, she hired three robots on the spot.

One would fold the mystery boxes, another would fill them with Fangfei Silk, and Moira would be in charge of placing the items inside. The third robot’s job was to take the finished boxes to the Teleportation port.

Soon, three robots, identical to the ones Moira Lynch had seen in the first and second games, walked in from outside.

The moment the door opened, Moira Lynch saw the scene outside the room for the first time.

Although Moira Lynch had already used her spiritual power to get a rough sense of her surroundings upon entering the game, there was still a world of difference between that and seeing it with her own eyes.

The three robots she hired clearly knew each other.

After receiving their assignments from Moira Lynch, they first scanned the goods in the room.

"Estimated time to completion: under five hours. Please pay five silver coins in advance."

Asking for money before they even started working... Moira Lynch was stunned by the robots’ audacity.

"Shouldn’t I pay you after the work is done?" Moira Lynch argued.

’Besides, it’s a five-hour job. Why are you asking for five silver coins?’

One of the robots explained unhurriedly, "We are working on our off-hours, so you must pay our wages upfront. We need to verify your financial standing."

In short, they wanted to see if Moira Lynch could even afford them.

’Five silver coins... Five silver coins per robot, so fifteen silver coins for all three.’

At this, Moira Lynch immediately lost the desire to hire them. It wasn’t that she couldn’t afford such a paltry sum, but she hated being so brazenly extorted.

As if sensing her thoughts, one of the robots said, "Even if you refuse, you are still required to pay us one silver coin each. The clock started the moment we walked through that door."

’Jeez, this is a total shakedown!’

Moira Lynch thought for a moment before replying, "Who said I’m backing out? I’ll start with one hour. Let’s see how fast you work."

With that, Moira Lynch took out three silver coins and gave one to each robot.

The three robots took the coins and glanced at each other, apparently surprised by Moira Lynch’s response.

Moira Lynch’s logic was simple. ’Since I have to pay them each one silver coin either way... why give them three silver coins for free when I could make them work for an hour?’

Moira Lynch had originally planned to work alongside them, but once the three robots got started, she found there was absolutely nothing for her to do.

These robots might not have had three heads and six arms, but they could operate several mechanical hands at once. As a result, Moira Lynch was the one left with nothing to do.

’With this level of efficiency, one silver coin an hour doesn’t seem so bad after all.’

Little did Moira Lynch know, the three robots were only working so hard because they wanted to be hired for another hour.

This wasn’t their usual work ethic at all.

While the three robots worked, Moira Lynch didn’t stay idle.

The robots were only putting one item in each mystery box they packed. Moira Lynch found an out-of-the-way spot and started packing her own boxes.

As she packed, Moira Lynch didn’t let her mouth stay idle either. She started trying to get some information from the robot nearest to her.

"Are the mystery box sales on Tarmir good?" Moira Lynch asked, feigning curiosity.

"Of course," the robot replied proudly. "All mystery boxes in the entire galaxy are produced here on Tarmir."

Hearing this, Moira Lynch nodded and pressed on. "So, besides these, what other kinds of mystery boxes are there?"

"Types of mystery boxes? Oh, there are tons! Spaceship boxes, doll boxes, gift boxes, pet boxes, formalwear boxes, cosmetic boxes... you name it, we have it."

After finishing, the robot glanced around the room and lowered its voice. "The mystery boxes you’re packing here are the cheapest type. They’re mostly filled with unpopular products that won’t sell. Package them up in a mystery box, and suddenly they’re sellable. That’s why they only assigned one person to this room. The other mystery box workshops have several people in them."
