Moira Lynch wasn’t sure if these people were with the man from before, but she decided it was best to leave this place first.

Just then, thick white smoke suddenly billowed in the distance.

Unlike the black smoke from the forest fire, which had been concentrated in one spot, this white smoke covered a huge area.

At that moment, Patience’s alarm sounded in her ear.

[The temperature of the surrounding water is rising rapidly. Please evacuate immediately.]

Moira Lynch had a revelation. ’This isn’t white smoke at all; it’s steam from the water boiling.’

The seawater, which had been somewhat cool just moments ago, had become scalding hot in a matter of minutes, and the temperature was still climbing.

Seeing this, Moira Lynch took a smaller bamboo raft out of her space, stored the large one, and then grabbed a paddle, desperately rowing away.

She hadn’t paddled far before a violent tremor came from deep underground.

This was the second time.

Moira Lynch gripped the bamboo raft beneath her tightly, barely managing to keep from falling off.

The temperature of the surrounding sea continued to rise. To avoid getting burned, Moira Lynch used her Ice Finger to form a layer of ice under herself, insulating her from the boiling water.

But this was only a temporary solution. She had to get out of this area of the sea, and fast.

With this in mind, Moira Lynch couldn’t help but paddle faster.

After about an hour, Moira Lynch noticed signs of fish moving underwater, and the surrounding seawater was finally not so scalding.

Realizing it was temporarily safe, Moira Lynch finally stopped paddling.

However, she didn’t let her guard down. Just because there were fish around didn’t mean it was completely safe.

Just then, a familiar pink creature appeared in Moira Lynch’s line of sight.

A Cetabeast.

’I wonder if it’s one of the ones I saw before.’

Whether it was or not, Moira Lynch released her spiritual power to try and communicate with it.

After she tried saying hello, the Cetabeast, which had been zipping through the water, clearly paused for a moment before swimming toward her.

"What are you doing here?"

"I’m here for a deserted island survival competition," Moira Lynch answered truthfully.

Hearing this, the Cetabeast tilted its head in confusion. "Deserted island survival? Is there such a competition? How come I’ve never heard of it? Oh well, never mind that. The volcano is about to erupt. I’ll get you out of here."

Moira Lynch nodded. "Okay, thank you."

"You helped purify our waters before, and that Purifying Seaweed was really useful. It’s only right that I help you."

The Cetabeast bit onto a stalk of Knotweed Kelp from the seabed, had Moira Lynch grab one end, and held the other in its own mouth.

A powerful force pushed her back. The Cetabeast pulled Moira Lynch along, and in a Blink, they had traveled a great distance.

Just then, the raft began to shake violently again. This was the third time.

Moira Lynch could feel the Cetabeast’s speed increase significantly after this tremor.

After an unknown amount of time, the Cetabeast finally stopped.

"Okay, we should be safe here."

Hearing that, Moira Lynch looked around. The deserted island was long gone from sight.

Even though she couldn’t see it, she had still felt the moment the volcano erupted.

After all, with such a massive commotion, it would have been hard not to.

Moira Lynch didn’t know how far she was from the island now, but it had to be a very long way.

Even at this great distance, she could still feel the eruption. One could only imagine how terrifyingly powerful it must have been.

’Does the game system even know it’s supposed to be a support game?’

’No, I have to file a complaint.’

Remembering the email the game system had sent her, Moira Lynch sat on the raft, decisively opened her Intelligent Brain panel, and replied to the same address with a thousand-character letter of complaint.

In the letter, Moira Lynch first vented all her dissatisfaction, listing out the physical and mental trauma she had suffered. In the end, she summarized it all in a single word: "Compensation!"

After clicking send, Moira Lynch waited for a reply from the system.

Meanwhile, the system, which had just finished a fight and was in the System Space, did indeed receive Moira Lynch’s complaint letter.

After reading the contents, it shrank back, feeling a little guilty. It didn’t dare say that in this round of the game, only Moira Lynch’s group was different. All the other players were currently volunteering at a kindergarten.

This was something it definitely couldn’t hide. As soon as they returned to Caelus, they would surely notice something was wrong. Unless it could keep Moira Lynch on Planet Aelmar forever—but the key was, it couldn’t.

’It’s all that survival system’s fault, messing with my server when I wasn’t looking. No, I have to file a complaint too.’

After a long wait, Moira Lynch didn’t receive a reply from the system, but she did get a system broadcast.

[Due to the excessively high difficulty of this game, which has resulted in too many eliminations, the System has decided that all players eliminated after the twentieth day of the game will retain their eligibility. Furthermore, they will be compensated with one D-rank Awakening Stone.]

[A D-rank Awakening Stone can help an ordinary person awaken their talent. Successful awakenings will also grant game eligibility.]

As the system’s voice faded, a stone the size of a thumb appeared in Moira Lynch’s hand the next second.

"This is a D-rank Awakening Stone?"

After having seen Evan Gardner’s Eternal Awakening Stone, she wasn’t particularly interested in this D-rank one.

However, the Awakening Stone was secondary. The attached game eligibility was what truly mattered.

...

Moira Lynch had now successfully escaped danger, but there were still nine days left in the game.

’With so much time, I have to make good use of it.’

Moira Lynch first organized her gains from this game: Full Vines, Knotweed Kelp, Qio Vines, an Isle Turtle, and various marine creatures. Besides these, there was also the Soul Resurrection Grass and the Black Hole Core.

Of course, her biggest gain had to be the Pharmacy Box.

Moira Lynch took out the Pharmacy Box, preparing to tally how many types of medicine it could now produce.

At the very top of the list, naturally, was the Awakening Potion.

Next were medicines made from various Crystal Stones. If a person with a corresponding Attribute consumed one, their ability would be greatly enhanced for a short time. The effect could last for about an hour but would put a huge strain on their body.

Then there were the various items extracted from all sorts of herbs: Energy Potions, Life-extending Potions, Regeneration Potions, Growth Potions, Genetic Potions, Strength Potions, and medicines to treat all kinds of illnesses.

From major terminal illnesses like cancer to minor ailments like the common cold and coughs, Moira Lynch could find a medicine to treat almost anything.

Needless to say, even if Moira Lynch did nothing else from now on, she could make a fortune just with this Pharmacy Box.

For the next nine days, aside from eating and sleeping, Moira Lynch spent every waking moment relentlessly collecting all sorts of aquatic creatures.

During this time, she even encountered another Isle Turtle.
