The other orb was about to explode with anger at such shameless words. It had never seen such a brazen system, but there was nothing it could do.

Meanwhile, Moira Lynch, the object of the two systems’ dispute, was about to press the red button.

Moira Lynch’s reasoning was simple. Her haul from this game was already substantial; there was no need to take any more risks.

Especially when the game seemed on the verge of escalating.

Seeing this, the two systems in the sky felt their hearts leap into their throats—one with worry, the other with excitement.

However, just at that moment, Moira Lynch stopped what she was doing.

[Urgent email received. Immediate attention required.]

Hearing Patience’s anxious voice, Moira Lynch instinctively paused and opened the urgent email.

The email displayed two words in large, bold text: "Don’t choose."

Moira Lynch stared at the email, falling silent.

’This email has to be from the system, right? Right?’

’After all, my Patience came from the system. It’s not that surprising they can send me emails.’

After three seconds of brief consideration, Moira Lynch decided to follow the email’s advice.

Up above, the golden-wreathed ball of light saw Moira Lynch’s hesitation and instantly went from serene composure to throwing a tantrum. It shrieked at the other orb, "You cheated! You cheated!"

Ignoring the golden orb’s meltdown, the other one decided to give Moira Lynch a small reward for her obedience. But before that, the game had to go on.

As for the players who chose to exit early, the system would still preserve their eligibility for the game, but that was all.

’Thanks to that golden bastard’s meddling, my game system is a complete mess now. It’s a good thing nothing catastrophic happened, or I would have had to report it to the main system.’

[For all players who have made their choice, the second round of supplies has been dispatched. Previously restricted sea areas are now open. Players, please explore at your own discretion. We wish you good luck in the game.]

The golden panel in front of her vanished, and the system’s voice rang out once more.

Although the voice was the same, Moira Lynch could still detect a subtle difference.

Stepping out of the RV, she was hit by a foul odor. Moira Lynch wrinkled her nose instinctively and looked up to see supply packages drifting down from the sky on parachutes.

Moira Lynch collected the two nearest supply packages into her space.

These packages were much smaller than the previous supply crates, only about the size of a backpack, but they were densely packed.

She opened both resource packs. The contents were identical: two bottles of water, some bread, instant noodles, chocolate, and a mask.

After stowing the items, she put the RV away in her space as well.

Just as Moira Lynch was about to make her next move, the ground suddenly trembled.

’An earthquake?!’

As Moira Lynch cautiously scanned her surroundings, the ground fell still again, but she didn’t dare lower her guard.

’Looks like I can’t stay on this island any longer.’

This time, Moira Lynch didn’t hesitate. She put the Sea Pearl in her mouth and jumped into the water.

Thanks to her consistent diet of Yoyo Fruits, Moira Lynch’s speed in the water was no slower than on land.

The once vibrant seabed was now eerily silent. The fish that had lived here were long gone, leaving only the immobile coral reefs behind.

Seeing this, Moira Lynch took them all for her space without a second thought.

Half an hour later, when Moira Lynch surfaced, she was a great distance from the deserted island. In the distance, it had shrunk to a small black dot.

"I should be safe here," Moira Lynch muttered to herself.

She took the bamboo raft out of her space and climbed aboard to rest.

Under Moira Lynch’s modifications, the once-simple bamboo raft now had a house built right on top of it.

Fortunately, the bamboo stalks were large enough to withstand her construction.

Sitting on a bamboo chair, Moira Lynch stretched lazily.

GRUMBLE GRUMBLE~~

Her stomach chose that moment to protest.

She took out a piece of bread from one of the resource packs and began to eat. ’Strawberry jam, huh? It tastes surprisingly good.’

Just as Moira Lynch was enjoying her meal, disaster struck!

A blade of water suddenly shot out from the sea, aiming straight for Moira Lynch’s heart.

However, when the blade was a mere centimeter from her heart, it vanished into thin air.

In that same instant, Moira Lynch pinpointed the ambusher’s location.

’A Water Talent user?’

The attacker didn’t flee after their missed strike. It seemed they thought Moira Lynch couldn’t possibly have detected them and were preparing to try again.

Moira Lynch removed a Universal Glove from one hand and dipped her fingers into the sea.

The next second, a frost flower bloomed in the water, spreading outward with incredible speed.

Simultaneously, to prevent the person from escaping, Moira Lynch created several whirlpools, trapping them completely.

A few minutes later, the water around the raft thrashed violently for a moment before falling calm again.

About ten minutes later, a massive block of ice, supported by her Spiritual Body, slowly rose to the surface.

The ice was perfectly clear, seemingly empty. But upon closer inspection, the faint shape of a person could be discerned within the block.

[Talent: Water Transformation

Allows the user to freely merge their body with water and control it.]

A ball of black flame materialized in Moira Lynch’s hand and drifted slowly toward the block of ice.

The instant it touched the ice, the black flame vanished. The block of ice, along with the person frozen inside, disappeared with it.

’Moira Lynch could feel the person slowly fading away. But so what? He had just tried to kill her.’

Only after the ice had vanished completely did Moira Lynch seem to snap out of her trance.

Ever since the game began, Moira Lynch knew a day like this would come. She had been preparing for it in her heart all along.

So when it finally happened, she felt a sense of relief, as if a great weight had finally been lifted.

Moira Lynch scanned her surroundings, unsure if the attacker had been alone. Extending her spiritual power, she detected numerous other players. It seemed quite a few had sensed something was wrong, but even the closest ones were several hundred meters away.

Uncertain if any of them were accomplices of the player she’d just dealt with, Moira Lynch decided it was best to move for now.

Just then, Moira Lynch noticed one group of players rapidly approaching her position.
