Lin Feng opened the door of the villa by himself, too shy to disturb the servants at home.

He did not turn on the lights; he was very familiar with the layout of the villa that he had lived in with his father and mother since childhood.

Climbing up the stairs, he heard a faint noise.

Lin Feng tilted his head.

Was someone at home? Was it Mother Lin?

Father Lin said that he would be on a business trip for a week, and to ensure Lin Feng and Mother Lin would not be bored at home, he sent them on a one-week vacation trip to the southern tourist islands.

But Lin Feng and Mother Lin both possessed similar shy and introverted natures, not very used to the company of other people or the chaos of a crowd.

Mother Lin and Lin Feng parted ways after spending only two days on the island. Mother Lin said she would visit her maternal family, and Lin Feng wanted to rest for another day before returning home.

He had found a small and cozy bookstore with many interesting books in a small, quiet alley on the island, and he wanted to buy some books to bring home with him.

So the person at home must be Mother Lin.

Lin Feng walked toward the sound and saw a dim light shining through a small opening in the door of the master bedroom.

Because of the darkness, Lin Feng did not immediately notice that there was another person in the dark hallway standing frozen in place.

He quietly stepped toward the door, wondering why it sounded as if his mother was crying.

The sounds became louder and clearer.

They were the sounds of a woman’s cries, a man’s deep groans, and slapping sounds of water.

Lin Feng had not realized what was happening yet, but when he stepped a few meters away from the door, he faintly saw a reflection in the mirror inside the dimly lit room.

An outline of a man’s naked body, his back muscles stretched tight, galloping furiously on top of a naked woman. Both bodies were glistening in sweat, grinding against each other.

The woman’s cries became louder, and words were interspersed between them.

"Ah... Yes, faster, deeper... Brother Dong, you’re so good, you’re the best!" The woman’s words were almost incoherent as cries turned into screams. "Ahh! Yes! Ah!"

The man’s groans also became more urgent, and his waist moved even faster. "You little bitch, you were waiting for Brother Dong, weren’t you? You’re so thirsty. Did your husband not satisfy you?"

"Brother Dong is so bad. You know how small my husband is. How can he satisfy me? You’re the one I love. I loved you ever since I first saw you. My heart is always yours—Oh, yes, right there!" The woman screamed passionately.

"So that’s why you seduced me when your sister went to cook dinner back then. You’re so naughty! Your sister had no idea that you were seducing me behind her back even before we married," the man groaned, tilting his head back in pleasure.

"But you still married her," the woman complained coquettishly. "You clearly liked me better. You would make love to me in the bathroom in the middle of the night whenever she’s sleeping like a dead pig. You said she’s so boring, but in the end, you still married her~"

"You know what would happen if I didn’t marry her and chose you instead. Your father favors her so much. If I dumped her and chose you, wouldn’t you be in trouble too? Aren’t I thinking about you?"

"Humph! Isn’t it just because of her inheritance? Father is so biased. I am also his daughter. Why did he always favor my boring half-sister? Just because she had a poor heart? So she deserves more care?" the woman snorted disdainfully.

"Alright, let’s stop talking about my wife. Tighten a bit more. It’s been a while since we last met. I’ve really missed your wildness..." The man pushed deeper.

The woman moaned. "Your wife, your wife. Stop calling her your wife. Aren’t I your wife too, a much better and more exciting one? I even gave you a child, our lovely Ah Yi. Isn’t he much better than your other son?"

"Yes, he’s a lot better than the little coward..."

"Aren’t I much better than your stupid wife?"

"Yes, you’re much, much more exciting than her. Your body is sexier, Ruoxi. Just like your name, you’re flowing like a stream of water..."

"Oh, Brother Dong, last time we met up, I still wanted more, but the car was shaking too much..."

As if spurred on by their sinful exchange of words, the adulterous couple’s actions became more frenzied, and their moans turned into loud growls and screams of pleasure.

The bed was now shaking and banging against the wall, and the people outside heard everything clearly.

The adulterous couple, Father Lin and Bai Ruoxi, emptied the villa in order to let loose and scream to their hearts’ content.

It had been months since they last met up. That last meeting was a quick rendezvous in the car on the way to the ancestral home, when Father Lin made up an excuse to pick up Bai Ruoxi and her son. Her son, Tang Hongyi, was nowhere, but Bai Ruoxi and Father Lin ended up arriving late after doing their deed.

Standing outside, Lin Feng tore his eyes away from the scene, stepped back, and covered his mouth tightly with his hands, terrified and shocked.

Father Lin and Aunt Ruoxi!

The man and woman inside were his father and aunt! They’re having an affair!

Lin Feng almost staggered down. His mind was in turmoil.

And his cousin, Tang Hongyi... He was actually Father Lin’s son, born out of his affair with Aunt Ruoxi!

What about his mother, Mother Lin? What about Uncle Tang?

It was at this time that Lin Feng noticed something in the corner of his eye. As his eyes got used to the dark, he saw an indistinct outline of another person standing right outside the door, a few arm’s lengths away from him.

The figure was so still that it took him a while to finally notice.

Lin Feng’s eyes widened.

"Mother!"

No longer caring whether the adulterous people inside would hear, Lin Feng yelled in shock and ran forward.

His mother had a poor heart condition. If she saw this...

No, Mother Lin clearly arrived earlier than Lin Feng. She definitely saw and heard every adulterous act and every word they said.

Sure enough, the moment Lin Feng touched the frozen Madam Lin, like a sand sculpture, she toppled onto the floor.

"Mother, mother, please wake up," Lin Feng shouted frantically as he pulled Mother Lin into his arms. With shaking hands, he reached into her pockets, looking for the medicine to calm her heart.

Found it!

He twisted the cap, took the medicine, and fed it to his unconscious mother, but Mother Lin’s mouth would not open, her lips tightly pressed together.

Lin Feng felt cold. He could not sense any breathing or heartbeat from his mother.

Impossible, impossible. She was just standing there...

Not wasting any more time, Lin Feng stood up.

He had a weak body and delicate frame, usually unable to carry heavy objects. But with the surge of adrenaline, he easily carried up Madam Lin’s petite body.

Rushing to the stairs, Lin Feng ignored the chaotic noises in the master bedroom behind him. He seemed to have heard the door swing open and someone screaming after them, but Lin Feng’s entire attention was on Mother Lin and safely transporting her to the car in the garage.

The late-night scenery in the capital was bustling, but a black car sped through the roads, alerting the traffic enforcers, and finally arrived at the hospital.

However, it was too late.

Madam Lin was not saved.

She had already died in the villa. The intense emotional stress triggered a fatal cardiac arrest, leading to what the doctor described as cadaveric spasm, with the entire body stiffening at the moment of death due to the intensity.

Lin Feng swayed on his feet, his eyes blurring. A hand pressed against his chest as he tried to gasp for breath, his entire body bent over.

The doctor initially thought he was simply feeling immense grief, but soon he realized in alarm, "Did you also inherit your mother’s illness?"

Lin Feng nodded briefly, unable to speak loudly.

Like Mother Lin, he also had a weak heart, but not as bad as his mother’s. His condition was considered better than those who were diagnosed with heart ailments, but much weaker than the average person. There had only been a handful of instances when his weak heart acted up.

Now, unable to breathe and feeling his heart constricting inside its cage, Lin Feng’s grief grew.

"Mom, how painful it must have been for you..." he murmured incoherently, tears falling.

Despite his delicate and shy nature, Lin Feng actually rarely cried. He tried to keep a calm disposition due to his health condition, and also because he did not want to disappoint his father, who had always complained about how soft his personality was.

Lin Feng used to care very much about his father’s opinions. Hoping to get his approval, he studied hard and achieved high marks at school.

But instead of getting his approval, Father Lin said that Lin Feng was too much of a nerd. He told him many times to act more like his cousin, Tang Hongyi, who was much more outgoing and had a larger group of friends.

Lin Feng: Bah! What a joke!

No wonder!

No wonder Father Lin always favored his cousin, Tang Hongyi.

No wonder he always volunteered to drop off Mother Lin’s gifts for her sister, Aunt Ruoxi.

No wonder he was always out on business trips.

It was all because Father Lin had been having an affair with Aunt Ruoxi!

How terrible must Mother Lin have felt when she saw her husband having an affair with his sister-in-law, her very own biological sister?

Clutching the fabric on his chest, Lin Feng gasped in agony.

Fortunately, he was already inside the hospital. The doctor was able to assist the grief-stricken boy in time, but looking at the boy’s worsening condition, the doctor decided to have the boy stay at the hospital for a few more days.

However, the next day, when the doctor was about to check on the boy, he found out that Lin Feng had already left the hospital.
