Ancient Tears BloodLine
Chapter 1707: Part 2: Quasi-God Domain
Quasi-God Domain
Quasi-God Jane was in her residence. She made the decision to recruit Zack Lockwood into her faction. In fact, there was no need to do so; Zack Lockwood belonged to their faction by default.
Their faction was called the Star God Faction. It was formed by graduates of Star University.
Even so, there were other people who had joined different factions based on their elements and inheritances.
Currently, there are at least 100 known Quasi-Gods on the human side.
There were also hidden Quasi-Gods, though their numbers were not made public. Their role was to step in during emergency situations.
There were many factions among the Quasi-Gods, but the strongest were the six God Factions, which carried on the legacy of the six universities.
Other factions were divided by warrior families, clans, and like-minded elemental groups. There were also independent Quasi-Gods who did not belong to any faction.
All of them, however, resided in the separate dimension of the Quasi-Gods. They were not on the lands of the human world, as their Quasi-God energy was simply too overwhelming for it.
Similarly, the Demi-Gods, Gods, and Titled Gods resided in their own separate dimensions.
It did not take long for reports from the Red Mark Main Battlefield to reach the factions. Every faction found the news hard to believe.
They did not know what the top-ranked elites were doing on the main battlefield.
Immediately contacting their assistants, they ordered them to gather details as soon as possible.
...
Quasi-God Jane’s Residence
Jane was in charge of the Star God Faction in the Quasi-God Domain, whereas Demi-God Stefan led the faction in the Demi-God Domain.
Demi-God Stefan had also graduated from Star University hundreds of years ago.
He was one of the most powerful Demi-Gods in his domain, having already made a name for himself in the 3rd-rank Sky Battlefield.
As such, he was quite renowned among the enemy ranks as well.
When the communication was established, Demi-God Stefan’s image appeared on the mirror artifact facing Quasi-God Jane.
He was several hundred years old, yet he looked like a middle-aged man in his forties, while Quasi-God Jane retained her blonde-haired appearance.
Upon seeing Quasi-God Jane, Stefan smiled and greeted her. They belonged to the same Star God Faction, and Stefan had been receiving reports that Quasi-God Jane was performing well in the 4th-ranked battlefield.
Stefan said, "You know that artifact should not be used unless absolutely necessary."
This time, his voice sounded serious.
Jane greeted him before replying, "Elder, this is important news. I’m sure you won’t regret hearing it."
"Interesting," Stefan muttered.
"A supreme-grade genius graduated early from Star University. His name is Zack Lockwood. Right now, he is a Red Mark Warrior, but I have decided to enroll him into the Star God Faction," she said in a serious tone.
"Supreme-grade talents are rare, but what’s the hurry in enrolling him now? Let him become a Quasi-God first. There have been many cases before where Supreme-grade talents failed to break past the limit of the Red Mark Rank," Stefan replied.
Hearing that, Jane fell silent for a moment before beginning to reveal the secrets surrounding Zack Lockwood.
Stefan had maintained a neutral expression up until now, but it did not take long for that to change.
He had never heard of any warrior becoming a Red Mark Warrior in their early twenties.
As his expression grew serious, he began to listen intently. It did not take long for Jane to share the news regarding the inheritance and bloodline.
This time, the Demi-God’s expression shifted visibly. More than the ancient inheritance, he was stunned by the Ball Clan bloodline.
Everyone knew about Ancestor Ball. It had been hundreds of years since someone from the Ball Clan had reached the Quasi-God ranks.
Following the demise of Ancestor Ball, their clan had fallen into decline. Currently, there were no Ball Clan Quasi-Gods among the known top hundred.
He did not know if there were any among the hidden ranks; that was a secret known only to the Titled Gods.
A few minutes later, Quasi-God Jane finished her explanation. She also shared a bit of background information on Zack Lockwood.
Learning that Zack Lockwood had risen from an outpost all the way to the Tier-4 region, Stefan was genuinely impressed.
What was more, he understood the true power of the Ball Clan bloodline. Their Ancestor had been one of the Titled Gods.
He then said, "There is no need to actively recruit him. Others wouldn’t dare take in a Ball Clan warrior anyway. He is already a member of our faction by default. But just to be clear to everyone else, issue a public statement declaring that Zack Lockwood is officially part of the Star God Faction."
"Since he is progressing this quickly, his bloodline power must be exceptionally pure. He might even have a chance of becoming a Demi-God. I have far more confidence in his bloodline power than in ancient inheritances," Stefan added.
Jane let out a sigh of relief. She had not expected Demi-God Stefan to hold such a high opinion of bloodline power.
She figured it was because Stefan was a bloodline warrior himself, giving him a natural bias toward other bloodline warriors.
However, she kept that thought to herself.
Demi-God Stefan then ended the transmission, and the artifact returned to its dormant state. It was an extraordinarily powerful artifact. Quasi-God Jane sighed, then immediately set to work.
Twenty minutes later, new information was updated in the Star God Faction’s database. A new member had been added to the registry.
It was the first time in history that a Red Mark Warrior was inducted into a Quasi-God Faction.
No one had noticed the update yet, but it would soon send shockwaves through the Quasi-God Domain.
After finishing the registration, Jane contacted her assistant. She wanted the news to reach Council Elder Freya, knowing that Freya hailed from the Ball Clan as well.
Council Elder Freya could then deliver the news to Zack Lockwood.
...
United City (Main Post)
The council elders waiting for instructions from the Quasi-Gods were stunned by the sudden flood of incoming signals across the communication channels.
The channels linking them to the Quasi-God Domain had all activated at once.
