Chapter 564: Don’t Worry Aunty, My Daddy Can Shovel Shit.

Leo and Lily got down outside a farm and they watched the tractor move away. The two of them exchanged a glance and disregarding the camera, shook their heads before mumbling, "They are all so unreliable."

The sync was so unexpected and funny that the audience were left in a splitting laughter. The comments flooded in and the ratings soared. As the people were wondering what they were going to do, when a middle-aged lady stepped out of the farm gates and greeted the two people with a smile.

She was slightly plump and here checks were flushed, with a vigourous sparkle across her eyes. She greeted the two people with a smile one her face and said, "Welcome, I am Holly, this farm belongs to my family."

Leo smiled and replied, "Good morning, big sister Holly, I am Leo and this is my daughter Lily. Thank you for having us."

Lily also bowed to Holly in an noble manner as she thanked the older lady. Holly has received many celebrities over the years but none of the children had ever been as this one. She was a simple woman but she could perceive the people well and right now she found Lily to be very good. She smiled and said, "On don’t be so polite we are thankful that you all have come to help us. Please come in, I will show you around."

The two of them followed Holly, who pointed at the various spots where they raised chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep. At the same time Holly showed them the climate controlled room where they cultivated mushrooms.

Lily was fascinated and asked, "Auntie, how can you grow so many mushrooms inside a room?"

Holly smiled and replied, "This technique is introduced by the agriculture ministry to encourage the farmers who have smaller places to grow better food and earn a better revenue. So, we are also trying it for the first time."

Lily raised her brows and said, "The way the brains of those adult people work is rather terrifying."

Holly looked at here and chuckled and replied, "You speak like you are so old."

Lily chuckled and rubbed the back of her head. The young man sighed beside her and then he patted her head and asked, "Big sister Holly, what should we do?"

The lady replied calmly, "Well since its your first time doing this kind of work, how about you go to the chicken coop and collect all the eggs that are laid by the hen?"

Lily was instantly perked up she nodded like a chick pecking on a grain. Leo nodded in agreement, Holly handed them a small basket and a few masks to avoid the stink from the chicken droppings. The two people put the marks on their faces because when they stood outside the chicken coop.

After putting on the masks the people entered the chicken coop and Lily was instantly taken hostage by the few adorable chicks and then she asked, "Baba, have we been eating these little things in the egg?"

Leo shook his head as he collected the eggs from the shelf and he said, "When these eggs are collected they are sent for testing. If there is a living embryo inside the shell, those eggs were placed inside the incubator, as for the eggs that don’t have an embryo are tagged and packaged before they are shipped across the nation for consumption."

Lily nodded as she teased the chick on the ground. Leo was quick and calm, they didn’t startle the chicken inside the coop. Leo thought this was all the effect of his meditation technique. All these days, when he appeared to be not doing much, he was constantly practicing his technique.

Although he could now create the internal visualization quickly it was still not at the level where he could reach the second level of manipulating the internal energy. He sighed and shook his head before he asked Lily, "Do you want to see the test for identifying a fertilized egg?"

Lily nodded quickly and then followed Leo outside the coop, leaving behind the ducking chicken and fluffy chicks. She was skipping behind Leo before they found Holly who was carrying a bucket of feed. She was surprised and asked, "On, you two are quick. I didn’t expect you to come back so quickly."

The little girl asked, "Auntie, why do you say that?"

Holly replied and asked, "Well, usually when my son collects egg, the old hens are rather protective and mostly violent."

Leo replied with a smile, "Well, I guess they am kind to the ignorant guest."

Holly chuckled as she said, "Well that makes some sense."

Lily didn’t like the conversation turning into a banter and delaying all her chance to see the embryo inside the eggs. So, she asked, "Auntie, can we see the little chicks inside the eggs now?"

Holly nodded and said, "Brother Leo, you seem to have seen it before. Am I right?"

Leo nodded and replied. "A dim-lit room, hole in the card board and a candle behind it."

Holly smiled and nodded as she pointed at the small barn like structure on the side. After a few minutes, the two of them were standing in the dim-lit place and then he picked the cardboard with a hole in the middle. In the back, a candle was burning, Leo picked up an egg and then placed in the center of the card board, and said, "Look here, Lily."

Lily looked over and saw the glow of the candle light passing through the thin egg shells. She opened her little mouth wide enough to fit an egg. Leo smiled and replied, "See that pulsating motion inside the shell. That is a fertile egg, and it goes in the incubator."

Then he gave the egg to Lily, who held it like it was a precious jewel and placed it inside a box filled with hay. Leo nodded and then he took another egg and tested them all one by one. Lily handled them with great care and the audience went crazy as the little girl named the eggs.

After a few minutes when they finished dealing with the eggs. They carried the small baskets with several dozen eggs sorted out neatly. Lily was in the front walking carefully with one dozen fertile eggs, humming a soft tune. Leo followed her with a soft smile on his lips. While checking the eggs, he had found that he could even sense the subtle flow of energy inside the egg as well.

Outside they found Holly still carrying buckets over to feed the pigs, she looked at Leo and Lily and smiled, these two people were very fast and efficient. She looked at the white wooden box in Lily’s hands and asked, "Are these the fertile eggs?"

Lily replied, "Yes, Auntie, where shall we keep them?"

Holly patted her head, she said, "Give me a minute."

She placed the feed bucket on the side, washed her hands and took the box from Leo before she said, "I will take Lily and show her how the incubator works. Can you handle feeding these guys here?"

Leo nodded and Holly smiled embarrassingly before she said, "Well, the pigs are all done, but you need to handle the cows now. There are ten cows in the shed, and it would be a bit messy as their dung have not been cleaned up today."

Lily suddenly chimed in, "Don’t worry Auntie, what is there to worry about little cow poop? My Baba can clean it all up, he is the best at everything."

Leo swore that he was about to choke on his own spit. He didn’t expect that his darling little daughter would call him to be the best at shoveling shit. He glared at the little goblin who was spreading around a big wide sunny smile around her, and ignored the shit shoveling king of goblins.

She smiled at Holly and said, "Auntie Holly, shall we handle the baby chicks?"

Holly smiled and nodded as she said, "Come, follow me."

Leo sighed as he looked around the farm and then located the tool shed from where he picked up a shovel and a pail along with hard gloves and rubber boots. He was not going to sacrifice his white shoes for a goblin.

As he went in the cow shed, the audience went bonkers, they could not believe what Lily had just done, and to add insult to his injury, they saw Snow commenting from her original account, "Well, he is the best at changing diapers of our twins and so it is rather apt to call him best at this."

After saying that, she called Leo on his communicator and as he picked up the call, he asked, "Have you finally taken pity on your husband after he was titled as the best shit shoveller?"

Snow laughed hard, before she said, "You are the one who spoiled that little goblin into the tyrant she is becoming."

Leo shook his head and replied, "This is worse than her calling me jobless."

Indeed, it was a massive dent on his reputation.
