Chapter 559: Mister, You’ll Get Hurt.

Leo gave Lily a task and the little girl went out of the courtyard. While Leo rushed to the shed on the side, he spotted a shovel and a pail and picked them up quickly. The other fathers were still wondering what to do. Nova Delectus was the second fastest to respond and he beckoned Maya to come over as he also came to the shed, found a long hunting knife.

Leo raised a brow and Nona said, "They said a stone and not what kind of stone. I will make a stone slab, what about you?"

Leo replied, "Earthen stone. I sent Lily to see if she could borrow some utensils and ingredients."

Hannah was the second director who was in charge of sudden tasks. She looked at a slim but shady looking man and said, "Mister Snide, you are back in action."

Snide sighed and said, "My holy mother, my real name is Ralph."

As he said this he fixed his wig in the mirror and walked out of the vanity van. The cameras were all watching it all, the audience were hurling jokes and insults at the small artist who had gained popularity by playing the role of Mister Snide. Over the seasons, many people have left their children alone, and Mister Snide would try to lure the child away from the task they were doing.

The consequences of the child being lured away was eliminated from the show, and seventy percent of the children didn’t manage to get away from the scheme of the cunning Mister Snide.

However, this time the story was a little different because his opponent was the little goblin of the Cardinal family.

Mister Snide walked slowly but his stride was tall, he caught up with Lily before she could reach the town hall. He spoke in a concerned voice, "Oh, whose little baby is this. Never seen you here before."

Lily turned around to look and found the man gazing down at her with a kind smile, she raised her brow and asked, "Who are you, Sir?"

As she spoke she took a step back, because she didn’t like this man standing so close to her. Snide smiled kindly and said, "I live behind that alley, grew up in the town. My name is Snider."

Lily nodded and said, "Alright, if you don’t mind, I would like to be on my way."

This was not the usual plot, the comments flew off the hook. The director caught this and smiled, Lily’s popularity was rising and the people praised her for being calm and alert.

However, Snider didn’t want to give up so easily, so he asked, "Are you heading to the Town Hall to find the Town Head?"

Lily turned to look at him again, and asked, "Do you know him?"

Snider nodded and said, "Elder Hyphon has been my guide in this place for a long time. He is not here at this hour, you can find him in the park. Shall I take you there?"

Lily just watched the man, and Snider, thinking that Lily was interested in listening ahead, said, "I can take you to find him. It’s just around the corner."

As he said this, he reached out to grab her by the shoulder, but Lily was quicker, she moved to the side and said calmly, "Mister, keep your hands away please. I don’t want to hurt you."

Snider fell silent while the audience were going crazy with laughter. They praised the girl, but some of them criticised her for being a loud mouth. How can a child handle a grown man?

Although Snider looked lean and calm, he was still physically superior to a five year old child. Well, they had no idea of what Lily was capable of.

Lily looked at Snider, who didn’t need the warning and chuckled as he tried one more time, but this time Lily didn’t dodge. She bent her knees, shifted her weight forward on her toes and lunged at Snider. Before Snider could even register what was happening.

Lily had grabbed his out stretched arm and dived through the gap between Snider’s legs. Her small frame passed through with ease and Snider got caught in the momentum, leading him to flip over and crash on the ground and hit his back.

The comments froze, the director team froze. They could not comprehend what just happened. However, Lily didn’t stop, she changed the grab and put Snider in an arm lock as she said, "I would stop squirming if I were you."

Snider shivered as he realized the horror of this little girl. He panicked and said, "I apologize, I am a member of the crew. Please let me go."

Lily raised her brow and said, "Mister, I will not trust someone who just tried to harm me. Do you adults think that children are foolish? Believe me, Mister, even if you are a crew member, had it not been for the promise with my Baba that I will not use my boxing skills, you would have been facing a lot more than this grapple.

Now tell me, who are you really? Why is no crew member coming over to save you? If you trick me I will break your shoulder before calling the police."

The director’s team woke up from the daze and the order was sent out to rescue Snide. Lily had smashed the whole plot open.
