The golden pointer above the arena spun rapidly once more before slowing to a stop a moment later. It settled on Fei Xian and another Wizard, this one bald and covered in magical tattoos.

Having seen the previous matches, everyone was already prepared.

The moment they were transported into the arena, Fei Xian and the bald Wizard attacked each other without a word.

The outcome of this battle was just as predictable.

Fei Xian, now covered in scales in his bloodline form, simply powered through the bald Wizard’s Magic and charged him. He pummeled his opponent so badly that the man had no choice but to activate his escape rune, ending the fight in a brutal, fierce, and decisive fashion.

The golden pointer continued to spin.

The third to fight was Wen Huachun.

As for Ye Sinan, she was scheduled for the final match.

Unsurprisingly, both of them were victorious in the end.

Watching the events unfold on the screen, the crowd of spectators outside the Tower of the Holy Ring stirred.

"As expected. It’s these four who made it to the end."

"Of course they did. The difference in their strength is just too great."

"I don’t think the matchups on this fourth level were random at all. They’ve been pitting the strong against the weak."

Of the eight Wizards who had reached the fourth level, Pei Ze, Fei Xian, Wen Huachun, and Ye Sinan were clearly a tier above the other four in terms of strength.

Not only were the other four Wizards weaker to begin with, but they had also exhausted a great deal of energy during the third level’s trial. It was only natural that they were no match for Pei Ze and the others.

Perhaps that was why the Tower of the Holy Ring arranged for these four to be eliminated first.

That meant the upcoming matches were the ones that could truly be called duels.

"I wonder which two will be matched up first?"

"We’ll find out if we just keep watching."

"Quiet! Look, the golden pointer is starting to spin!"

Everyone stared intently at the golden pointer on the screen, not daring to blink for fear of missing a single moment.

A few seconds later, the golden pointer slowed to a stop, finally landing on Wen Huachun and Ye Sinan.

The four contestants in the waiting area were all taken aback.

An unusual glint flashed through Fei Xian’s eyes as he shot a piercing gaze at Pei Ze.

’Since Wen Huachun and Ye Sinan are facing each other, that means it’ll be my turn to fight Pei Ze next.’

Sensing the challenge in Fei Xian’s eyes, Pei Ze merely raised an eyebrow. He offered no other response, his expression calm as he turned his gaze toward the center of the arena.

In a flash of golden light, Wen Huachun and Ye Sinan appeared in the arena simultaneously.

They exchanged no words, only a single glance before they both struck at the same time.

The deafening howl of a gale and the sonic boom of branches tearing through the air echoed across the arena at almost the same instant.

The vast arena was instantly filled with raging cyclones and thick, twisting branches.

’Wen Huachun has mastered the Heart of Wind Element, and Ye Sinan has likely mastered the Heart of Wood Element, too.’

Empowered by their respective Hearts of Elements, the Wind Magic and Plant Magic they cast were far more powerful than those of an ordinary Wizard, making for a spectacular clash.

For a moment, the entire arena was filled with raging winds and all sorts of vegetation.

For Wizards of Ye Sinan and Wen Huachun’s caliber, ordinary Magic was no longer the primary means of combat when fighting enemies of the same level. It was more often used for support or against weaker opponents.

In battle, they relied more on various custom-modified Magic, or special abilities such as Alchemy Engraving and Bloodline Awakening.

Take Wen Huachun, for example. Seven pale cyan birds hovered around him, dancing in the air.

With each flutter of their wings, a vortex of wind erupted from their bodies, swelling instantly into a hundred-meter-tall tornado that swept toward Ye Sinan.

’Pei Ze guessed the birds were some kind of modified Elemental Creatures, bound to Wen Huachun through a method similar to a Magic Pet Contract. They were like a cross between a magic pet and a wizarding weapon.’

’But there was no denying their power. The barrage of hundred-meter-tall tornadoes was enough to easily rip an ordinary Level 3 Crystalized Wizard to shreds!’

Ye Sinan’s fighting style, on the other hand, was equally unique.

While dodging the tornadoes, she constantly scattered all kinds of seeds onto the ground.

The moment the seeds hit the ground, they burst open. Sprouts shot out, growing with visible speed into towering, sturdy trees, gigantic man-eating flowers covered in sharp teeth, and even bizarre plants formed entirely from thick vines that resembled giant pythons.

A menagerie of strange plants sprang up one after another, fiercely competing with the tornadoes for space.

’This fighting style reminded Pei Ze of a technique he had developed back when he was just a Wizard Apprentice, which combined Plant Spirit Light with the Killing Vine. It was remarkably similar to the Magic Ye Sinan was now casting.’

BOOM! BOOM!

The vine pythons smashed through the tornadoes with overwhelming force, letting out silent roars as they charged at Wen Huachun.

Wen Huachun’s expression remained unchanged. He simply raised a hand and pointed. A gloomy gray ray of light shot out like an arrow and struck one of the vine pythons. The creature’s body stiffened, then began to disintegrate piece by piece, starting from its head. In moments, it had turned to dust.

Meanwhile, under the cyan birds’ relentless assault, the plants in the arena were gradually losing ground, the majority of them having been shredded by the tornadoes.

Seeing Wen Huachun gain the upper hand, Ye Sinan showed no signs of panic. Instead, she suddenly stopped in her tracks, a look of relief washing over her face. She flashed a bright smile at Wen Huachun and said, "Preparations complete. Now, let me show you my trump card."

As her words fell, countless cyan halos suddenly descended from the sky, drifting down like a fine rain and sprinkling across every inch of the arena floor.

The next second, the ground began to crackle and split open. Countless multicolored flowers burst forth, growing at an incredible speed.
