Chapter 312: Chapter 309: A Sweet Kiss

"Yingying, are you okay?"

Si Si gently exhaled, her breath smelling of alcohol. She looked at Cui Jiaying’s flushed little face, her eyes revealing a deep intoxication.

"Mm... I’m fine. I’m not drunk, I can still drink." Cui Jiaying shook her head, planting her hands on the sink. She forced her eyes open to look at her reflection in the mirror, trying her best to appear more sober.

"You’re drunk." Si Si laughed, her own eyes hazy with drink. She reached out to pinch Yingying’s smooth cheek, then slowly held up one finger. "Yingying, how many is this?"

Cui Jiaying swayed slightly, paused for two seconds, and said with great certainty, "One finger."

"I asked ’how many,’ and you said ’one finger.’ Looks like you really are drunk." Si Si chuckled, then brought her index finger and thumb together to form a heart shape. "And what’s this?"

"A... a heart?"

"Wrong!" Si Si cupped her face with both hands, her hazy eyes meeting Cui Jiaying’s dazed gaze. Her low, slow voice, laced with the smell of alcohol, softly murmured, "It’s my heart."

Cui Jiaying froze for a moment, then laughed and shook her head, pulling away from Si Si’s hands. She giggled. "Si Si, stop fooling around. You’re a girl, and I’m a girl..."

Cui Jiaying hiccuped, then turned to look at an empty stall. "I... I have to pee."

She staggered inside, and just as she was closing the door, Si Si suddenly squeezed in, muttering, "I have to pee too. Let’s go together..."

"You pervert, there are other stalls right next to us..." Cui Jiaying scolded with a quiet laugh, pulling down her pants in front of Si Si and sitting on the toilet. "Alright, you perv, you can have it after I’m done."

"No way. I said together."

With her eyes half-closed, Si Si also pulled down her pants and sat on the toilet, facing her. Their four dazed eyes gazed at each other. Veiled in a watery mist, their pupils shifted, and the air suddenly fell silent.

Two streams of water began to flow almost simultaneously. Si Si’s body slowly leaned forward. She wrapped her arms around Cui Jiaying’s neck and, little by little, pressed her lips against hers, soft and red.

Cui Jiaying’s eyes widened. She held her breath, subconsciously wanting to push her away, but her body felt drained of strength.

This kiss felt strangely familiar, just like that time in the dorm room when the lights suddenly went out.

Her mind was hazy and confused, but she could hear Si Si’s gentle voice slowly rising in her ear.

"This is the second time I’ve kissed you. You’re so sweet."

Cui Jiaying’s face grew even redder. She didn’t know what it felt like to kiss a boy, but kissing Si Si now didn’t bring the repulsion she would have expected from a same-sex encounter.

Her body felt so strange.

She was breathing heavily. Using what little strength she had left, she pushed the rogue away and raised an arm to wipe her lips. "You’re such a pervert."

"I think so too..." Si Si laughed, unconcerned. "I just don’t like boys. So, do you think there’s something wrong with me?"

Cui Jiaying bit her lip, silent. ’No wonder Si Si is always so cold to guys but so warm to me. But my own orientation is perfectly normal, so why can’t I feel any disgust toward her right now?’

’Could it be... that she’s already turned me?’

Si Si pulled out some toilet paper to wipe herself clean, then slowly pulled up her pants. She looked at Cui Jiaying’s completely crimson face. "Alright, don’t overthink it. I’m sorry, okay?"

She muttered under her breath, "It’s your fault for being so cute just now."

"But that was my first kiss!" Cui Jiaying also grabbed some paper to clean herself up, her thoughts suddenly a mess.

"Bullshit. I already took your first kiss last time."

"..." ’So it really was her.’

The two left the stall, one after the other. Si Si splashed some water on her face, feeling much more clear-headed. She hadn’t expected that, fueled by the alcohol, she’d impulsively forced a kiss on Yingying. ’Then again, it’s not like she really resisted.’

Cui Jiaying also drank some water to rinse her mouth, then looked up at Si Si’s reflection in the mirror, her eyes thick with shyness.

She took a deep breath. "This time, I’ll just pretend I was too drunk to know what happened. But you can’t do this again."

A corner of Si Si’s mouth lifted into a slight smirk. ’Isn’t this a classic case of self-deception?’

"Okay. But since you’re already drunk, can I kiss you a few more times? You’ll forget it all by tomorrow anyway."

"Go to hell!"

Back in the private room, Qiuting was already asleep on the sofa. Lin Yanwan was still singing a song by some unknown artist, but it sounded beautiful.

"What took you two so long? I was starting to think you’d fallen into a latrine pit." She put down the microphone, unable to hold back a laugh.

Thinking about what had just happened in the restroom, the back of Cui Jiaying’s ears burned, and she subconsciously shot a glare at Si Si.

"We were outside sobering up for a bit," Si Si said.

Lin Yanwan nodded. "So, should we keep going? We definitely can’t go back to school now, but we could get a hotel room and crash for the night."

"Keep going! We said we’d party all night! We have to at least finish all this alcohol!" Cui Jiaying said.

She had organized tonight’s get-together, and it was their last one of the year. Of course they had to have a good time and let loose.

"Alright, your turn to sing. I’m gonna take a break."

Lin Yanwan handed over the microphone and took the opportunity to pick up her glass, taking a small sip to wet her throat.

Another two hours passed in a blur. Si Si and Cui Jiaying were like a pair of madwomen, belting out songs into the microphones. Glass after glass of alcohol went down, and the remaining beer quickly disappeared.

Lin Yanwan saw that it was getting late and called Jiang Xia.

"I’m in Room 302 at Crystal Karaoke. Did you book the room?"

"Yeah, it’s booked. What’s their situation right now?"

Lin Yanwan glanced at the three girls sprawled crookedly on the sofa, her expression helpless. "They’re all wasted. I can’t handle them on my own."

"I’m on my way."

After hanging up, Lin Yanwan struggled to wake the others up.

A few minutes later, Jiang Xia arrived at the karaoke bar. Aside from Lin Yanwan, the other three were swaying so much just standing still that they looked like they could collapse at any moment.

"How much did they drink?" Jiang Xia asked curiously, looking at the girls’ drunken state.

"Qiuting had one bottle. Those two had at least three each."

"And you?" Jiang Xia asked, looking at his wife’s slightly flushed cheeks; she had clearly been drinking too.

"Less than half a bottle."

"That’s fine. Not too much."

Then, the couple took the three girls to a hotel next to the karaoke bar. Jiang Xia had booked a room with a king-sized bed, large enough to comfortably sleep three people.

"Qiuting, Si Si, Jiaying, you three sleep here. I’m heading back. We can talk about anything tomorrow," Lin Yanwan said, shaking them awake.

"Mmm..." came the triple reply.

Not long after Jiang Xia and Lin Yanwan left, Si Si struggled to climb out of bed. She looked at the other two, and catching a whiff of the stench of alcohol from Cui Jiaying, forcibly pulled her up.

"Yingying, go take a shower before you sleep..."
