He Xuelu slapped his thigh. "President Lin is right. I’ll arrange for someone to do it right away."

"You have so many tricks up your sleeve. Most people would never think of this," Chen Jingxian said in a low voice.

"Seeing as you changed your style for me, I could give you a proper lesson."

"You definitely want to find somewhere private to ’teach’ me. No thanks, I’m not interested."

"Not bad. You’ve already learned to predict my moves."

To be on the safe side, the three of them took another tour of the factory grounds. They only relaxed after confirming there were no issues.

Around two in the afternoon, two SUVs pulled up to the entrance.

Including the drivers, eight people got out of the vehicles. All the key leaders had arrived.

After some brief introductions, the inspection began.

"If I remember correctly, the Mu Xing factory has been around for over 30 years, hasn’t it?" the top leader remarked with a sigh.

"Thirty-five years, to be exact," Lin Jiang replied with a smile.

"Thank you for investing here. If you encounter any problems in your future development, please report them to us promptly. We will spare no effort to support you."

This was the very sentence Lin Jiang had been waiting for all day.

But this was obviously not the right time to discuss it.

"Thank you for your support, sir. We also need your guidance and criticism, as well as that of the other leaders, so that we can continue to improve and grow."

"Speaking of guidance and criticism, we did actually notice a few things."

The top leader pointed at the hand-washing sinks and said:

"What era are we in? Still using hand soap and alcohol for disinfection? That won’t do. The emphasis now is on production safety. You must pay attention to this aspect; this part of the process must be strengthened."

"You’re right, sir. We will definitely pay attention to this matter."

Lin Jiang turned to look at He Xuelu and said:

"Factory Director He, write all these issues down. From now on, we must have high standards and strict requirements. Even though we’re a small factory, every part of our operation must be benchmarked against the major factories. In fact, we should aim to do even better than them."

"Understood, President Lin."

The group of leaders nodded in satisfaction. They then looked around at other areas, nitpicking a few other minor, insignificant issues. Regardless of whether their points were valid or practical, as long as an issue was raised, it would be addressed.

After the inspection was complete, the group went to the conference room for what was also a crucial part of the visit.

"Leaders, Mu Xing’s development has hit a bottleneck. We want to expand our production further but can’t find a suitable location. This problem has been troubling us for a long time."

"That’s easy to solve. You’re here to build a factory and invest, which will also boost local employment. When you face a problem like this, we will certainly find a way to resolve it. We’ll hold a meeting tomorrow to look into this. It won’t take too long."

"Then thank you, leaders."

The meeting lasted for about an hour. Since they had been through similar meetings before, this one felt like familiar territory.

That evening, there was a dinner banquet that didn’t end until after 9 p.m.

Lin Jiang had drunk quite a bit. He was still relatively clear-headed, but he didn’t plan on going back tonight.

"President Lin, you’ve had a lot to drink. Let me see you off."

"Secretary Li, you’re too kind."

Lin Jiang didn’t say much more. In a situation like this, the other party definitely had something private to say. So, he simply sent He Xuelu away and had Chen Jingxian bring the car around.

When they arrived at the hotel, Lin Jiang didn’t get out right away. He pointed to a tea shop next to the hotel and said to Chen Jingxian:

"Go buy some tea. Secretary Li and I will have a little to sober up."

"Understood, President Lin."

"President Lin, you’re being too kind."

"It’s nothing, really. No need to be so formal."

The two men went back to the room. Before long, Chen Jingxian returned with the tea. After brewing it, she left.

They sipped their tea and made small talk for a bit.

Exchanging pleasantries and flattering each other.

"President Lin, there’s no one else here, so I’ll be direct to avoid taking up your rest time."

"Please, speak freely."

"There are two residential complexes in town that are currently unmanaged. Do you have any connections in that area? Perhaps you could pull some strings and help find someone to take over these abandoned complexes."

Although he had drunk a lot, Lin Jiang’s mind was still sharp, and he instantly understood the implication.

"No problem. Leave it to me. I’ll arrange it tomorrow."

"Then thank you so much, President Lin."

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Secretary Li left.

As soon as Secretary Li was gone, Chen Jingxian immediately steadied Lin Jiang, holding his arm.

"You must feel awful from all the drinking."

"I’m okay. I’ll go wash my face; that should help."

"Okay."

Back in the room, Chen Jingxian watched as Lin Jiang washed up, then helped him back to the bed.

"Let me rub your temples. It should make you feel better."

Chen Jingxian sat on the bed and had Lin Jiang rest his head on her lap. When he opened his eyes, his vision was filled with her two massive, pale breasts, which seemed to blot out the sky.

"What did you two talk about?"

Lin Jiang briefly recounted their conversation, and Chen Jingxian also understood what it implied.

"Two unmanaged residential complexes... the annual fees should add up to a lot of money, but collecting property management fees from them won’t be easy."

"It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement. As long as we can secure the land, this is nothing."

"Yong’an probably can’t hold on for much longer. By the time we finish construction, they’ll be on the verge of bankruptcy."

"Our scale is nowhere near Yong’an’s, but the leaders still came to visit us. That sends a signal. As long as we don’t drop the ball, they’ll be out of the picture."

"But I think it’s because we have potential for growth. It’s only a matter of time before we go national."

"You hit the nail on the head."

Praised by Lin Jiang, Chen Jingxian felt a warm glow inside.
