Chapter 61: Once in a Lifetime Genius Qiu Tao

Jiang Yun brought Qiu Tao to the courtyard next to the pond containing carp. These carp were quite resilient, managing to live so long with minimal care, so Jiang Yun had started raising them for their looks.

Qiu Tao replied, "I understand and am ready to learn about the power of laws."

Jiang Yun started using his law of time to surround Qiu Tao to make her feel the feeling of the law of time.

Jiang Yun instructed, "I have now surrounded you in the law of time. Your first task is to try and be able to feel it."

Qiu Tao, obeying instructions, tried to feel her surroundings for the law of time. It didn’t take long before she suddenly stopped and looked back at Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun was confused and asked, "Why did you stop?"

Qiu Tao replied, "I can feel the law of time around me. It is a strange feeling, but I can tell it is there."

Listening to Qiu Tao’s confirmation left Jiang Yun speechless. Jiang Yun thought to himself, What kind of genius is this girl? It shouldn’t only take a few moments to just feel the law of time.

Jiang Yun then asked, "Can you feel the law of time consistently?"

Qiu Tao replied, "I have been able to feel it for a while now."

Jiang Yun realized Qiu Tao was a genius at comprehending laws. This meant he had found the perfect disciple for his lineage out of nowhere.

Jiang Yun then moved on to the next step and explained how to output the law of time to manipulate the time flow around her. This time, Qiu Tao managed to slow down time within just a few minutes of trying.

Jiang Yun instantly became serious, as this woman learned about the law of time far too fast. Now Jiang Yun was fully dedicated to teaching Qiu Tao to cultivate the law of time and fully impart his knowledge.

Jiang Yun began extensively explaining the law of time to Qiu Tao. Everything Jiang Yun explained didn’t take long for Qiu Tao to understand.

By the end of the day, Qiu Tao managed to slow down time in a large area in front of her for very long periods. This showed Jiang Yun just how talented Qiu Tao was at learning the law of time.

Since the day had ended, Jiang Yun allowed Qiu Tao to go back and rest to continue tomorrow.

The next day, Jiang Yun continued to teach Qiu Tao how to use the law of time, and everything taught didn’t take long for her to learn. After a certain point, the only thing limiting Qiu Tao from achieving further on the law of time was her low cultivation level.

Noticing there was nothing left to teach for the time being, Jiang Yun stopped and gave Qiu Tao plenty of cultivation resources so that she could quickly break through to the next realm and continue to learn the law of time.

Qiu Tao went back to her residence to continue her cultivation as she was now eager to continue her path of cultivating the law of time.

After Qiu Tao left, Jiang Yun had some time to himself. He spent some time thinking just what kind of treasure he picked up without even trying. Jiang Yun thought how Qiu Tao would become very powerful one day with her talents in the law of time.

Putting the thought aside, Jiang Yun started to make a massive Immortal energy gathering array to make the sect even denser in energy to allow everyone to cultivate faster.

After doing so, Jiang Yun went to the portal that led to the mortal world.

Now that Jiang Yun was a Loose Immortal array formation master, he could finally make a descension array so that he could get rid of this half-usable portal that needed constant maintenance.

Jiang Yun then took materials out to build the descension array. It didn’t take long, and the array was now up and working.

Jiang Yun then stepped into the array to see if it was working properly, and in the next moment, the surroundings changed. Now the surroundings were that of the lower-realm Invincible Cloud Sect.

Now that the portal worked properly, Jiang Yun didn’t have any more worries about having an unstable passage anymore.

Jiang Yun started to look around, as he hadn’t been back to the lower realm for a short while, and wondered what everyone was doing.

The sect around, though, was quiet, as everyone was now diligently cultivating so they could go to the Immortal realm too. Seeing nobody around, Jiang Yun went back to the Immortal realm to wait for the girls to ascend.

Over the next few days, Jiang Yun continued to learn array formations as they were quite useful to have, and they would still be used in the future. Not to mention, learning the dao of array formations would also help with improving his realm to breakthrough to the next level.

In these few days, Jiang Yun had made significant progress as he had reached the Earth Immortal level of array formations. This led Jiang Yun to improve all the array formations around the sect, which improved defense and the density of Immortal energy.

Due to this, it didn’t take long for the people in the sect to breakthrough their realms. Ning Nuo finally came out as she had broken through to the mid-level of Loose Immortal.

Zhao Na also came out as she broke through to the Heaven Immortal realm after being stuck at the same realm for so long.

These two girls, having spent time in secluded cultivation, felt bored and wanted some fresh air and exited seclusion early. They then spent a few more days together with Jiang Yun to clear their minds before going back to seclusion, as they were still too weak.

It didn’t take long before Qiu Tao broke through either and reached Heaven Immortal too. Now that she had reached a new realm, Jiang Yun continued to spend the days teaching the law of time.

This process continued to repeat as the Invincible Cloud Sect was experiencing a period of peace, as no one was bothering them in such a remote place.

As months went by, Jiang Yun reached the Golden Immortal level of array formations and has completely renovated the sect’s arrays, making the sect a unique cultivation paradise unseen anywhere in the Immortal world.

With such benefits, the people in the sect had absolutely no problems in breaking through their realms and made fast progress.

Ning Nuo had now become a late-stage Earth Immortal. Zhao Na and Qiu Tao have both reached the peak of the Heaven Immortal realm. The progress was fast and everything was peaceful.

During this time, Tang Mei and Nangong Yu had ascended, with Jiang Yun watching them for their safety. The sect now had more people, and it was slowly becoming lively again.

Now in the lower realm, nobody was strong enough to cause trouble, as all the strong cultivators have mostly died. This made it so everyone in the lower-realm Invincible Cloud Sect had a peaceful seclusion to cultivate.

Due to this, it won’t be long now for Bai Yu and Ling Ying to also ascend. As Jiang Yun was waiting for them to ascend, it didn’t take long, as they were now starting their tribulations.

Jiang Yun could feel it and went down to the lower realm to watch them, so they could succeed safely. After some lightning came down on both of them, which wasn't too difficult to solve, both of them started to ascend as they reached the Loose Immortal realm.

Learning from his past mistakes, Jiang Yun didn’t let them ascend normally and took both of them directly to the Invincible Cloud Sect in the upper world.

Once the two arrived, they had similar reactions to Tang Mei and Nangong Yu. After their amazement ended, they went to regroup with the rest of the sect to explore their new sect territory.

Jiang Yun thought that the sect was now lively again. Over the next few days after the two ascended, they adjusted nicely and were happy being with everyone again.

While Jiang Yun thought how it will remain peaceful in the future, something was happening in the distance.

A woman was flying towards the Invincible Cloud sect by herself and looked like she had a clear destination in mind.

Not knowing if the woman was an enemy or not, Jiang Yun decided to greet her personally.

Jiang Yun then disappeared from the sect and went to confront the woman who was heading their way.
