Chapter 2019 2019: Silvan Eldenford
Hearing the remark from the silver-haired young man, Klaus did not show any reaction, he only gave him a cursory glance before turning to the person leading the group. It was a young man who was dressed in all white, he had an elegant air around him. From what Klaus could tell, he was in the Ninth stage of the Sovereign Plane.
The young man in all white looked at Klaus with an amiable smile, "Sorry if we're interrupting, it's just we heard Brother Grey is working here and we came to have some discussions with him."
"He won't be able to have any discussions with you for the time being, you can wait for a few hours if you want." Klaus replied, seeing that the young man in white did not speak in the same manner as the others, he did not mind answering him.
"Then we will do just that then." The young man in white did not try to force the issue, just as he was about to turn, he asked, "I wonder if you're free to have a few drinks?"
Klaus turned to look at Grey, shrugging as he nodded. Reynolds and Alice were still around, and there were also Void and the Bunny Leader, so it would not be bad to leave Grey alone.
A few hours later, Klaus returned with the young man in white. The rest of the group did not return with him.
Grey was already finished with the array at this point and was seated in a cross-legged position. He opened his eyes to glance at the two approaching figures.
The young man in white introduced himself as Silvan Eldenford. The Eldenford Family is one of the oldest families in the Aurora Continent, rumored to have fought in the last great war against the Gnomes. They are very low-key and usually stay hidden in their secret manor. Since the continuous attacks of the Gnomes, the Eldenford Family, as well as other old families and Factions have stepped out from the dark.
The young man only came to have a casual discussion with Grey, leaving after about thirty minutes or so.
Grey and his group left the region since that was the last teleportation array they would be setting up in this region. There were multiple areas where teleportation arrays were needed, but he was not needed to create teleportation arrays in every city, rather, strategic cities were picked and he would head there to make the arrays.
Some more months went by in this manner for Grey, with nothing significantly eventful happening in his life. There has been no danger in creating these arrays thanks to the precautionary steps taken by his parents.
The process of making the teleportation arrays went on without a hitch and after a few more months, he finally connected the entire Aurora Continent to a series of his teleportation arrays. One thing he ensured to do was that none of the teleportation arrays he made in these regions could connect to the ones he had previously created when he was exploring the Aurora Continent. Those teleportation arrays were specially made for him and maybe his friends and parents, and he did not want others to know about their whereabouts. Even though he did not connect them to it, being the creator of the teleportation arrays as well as being a master in the space element, he could still use these teleportation arrays to access them if he wants to.
….
True Dawn Faction.
In a cave in the mountains, two figures were seated, one of them was an old man with gray hair, and the other was a lady. If Grey were here, he would recognize this lady. When they rushed to True Dawn to assist during the attack, he noticed her frequently staring at him. Although he found it odd, he did not really think too much about it since there was no malice in the woman's stare.
"Do you think we should take him in?" The Lady asked worriedly.
"His father and mother are top experts, they can ensure his safety." The old man replied calmly.
"They sent him out to make stupid arrays, putting his life in danger." The Lady argued, she continued seeing the old man not reacting, "You said he is our only hope. Do you want him to have the same end my brother did?"
"He is not your brother, you've already seen that when he came to help us the last time." The old man sighed, before adding, "The biggest difference between him and your brother is that he knows how to run, and it seems like he's very good at it given he can escape from an ambush of a few Peak Sovereigns even while only being an Eighth stage Sovereign."
The Lady squinted her eyes and nodded, to be honest, when she heard Grey managed to not only survive an ambush laid out by multiple Peak Sovereigns but he also escaped from their encirclement, she could barely believe it. This is something even most Peak Sovereigns could not do, after all, it is not just one Peak Sovereign they were talking about, but around five or so. Fighting five versus one in the same cultivation realm almost always ends in the same way, with the one person dying or being fatally wounded. Grey escaped five people who were all two stages above him, and one has to know that the gulf between a Peak Sovereign and a Ninth stage Sovereign is not the same as a Ninth stage Sovereign and an Eighth stage one. The difference is quite massive, yet Grey managed to escape, although injured, it was not something that placed his life in any risk, nor did it do any damage to his cultivation.
"Why don't you let me go out and keep watch over him." The Lady suggested after some silence.
The old man looked at her and sighed, he knew the only reason the Lady was being this way was because there was something in Grey that gave off the same aura as her dead brother, after some thought he replied, "Fine, but what if he doesn't want you around him?"
"Then I'll secretly watch over him." The Lady remained adamant.
