Chapter 1162: Forget The Trial, This Is Black Pill.

Shi Lang was involved in the stand-off with the Jewel-eyed race, and the people were surprised to look at him like this. Just when Naomi thought that Shi Lang was going to send them off, Shi Lang suddenly turned around and looked at the void with an exasperated gaze. However, he was simply helpless, he turned around and said, “Fine, let’s go.”

The people had no idea what happened and what caused Shi Lang to handle such thing. The young man led the people out of the Gathering Hall. Feng Yun had directly told him earlier, ’It is not right to waste time. Shi Lang sighed again and again as he walked thinking about how he let his emotions get the better of him and how the enemy almost succeeded. The reason he conceded to Feng Yun just now was because he was grateful that she protected Shi Ting, apart from that it was nothing else, had things been normal, he wouldn’t have gone even if Feng Yun had to fight with him.

As he was mulling over the fact that he missed something important and almost got into trouble, he also recalled that when Feng Yun came over, she was a little different. In his mind this lady was always the little bird who rested on his shoulders, and previously he used to call her Hou Bing, the reason she changed her name was because she had regained her full strength and merged with the True Phoenix after the challenge was completed.

The world was far better in terms of temperature but Shi Lang could sense a slightly higher level in the Yin energy and he realized this was the limitation of this world. Naomi who was following behind him asked, “Daoist Shi, I guess you have figured out the physical limitation of my race?”

Shi Lang nodded and replied, “Yes, I have, the usage of extreme Yang means against you is probably death to you, but if someone fails to even took a chance for sneak attack you will still win because while that person will be chasing your physical bodies, you would be simply attacking their spirit and soul. Though just as long as someone has a stronger Yang they could totally duke it out with you, someone like me is one of your nightmares, because I dual train.”

Naomi nodded to him and said, “Yes, that is exactly the situation here.”

Shi Lang shook his head and replied, “Don’t worry, Your Highness, I have no intention to spark a civil war with you, because your foundation is higher than mine. So now, how about you tell me, where is the temple of the five elements.”

Naomi nodded and then she led the young man towards the Temple of Five Elements with the elders in tow. They were all kind of surprised when they saw that Shi Lang didn’t intend to waste any time. One of the elders even asked Naomi, “Your Highness, what is going on with him? At one moment he was angry and now, he wants to head their directly. This is not normal.”

Naomi shook her head and replied, “It is normal when it is him. This guy does not follow the rules of conventional path, he is enigmatic but that is not all. He can be seriously a disciplined war machine.”

The elders nodded and they flew over for two days, before landing in the periphery of the temple. Naomi and all the elders were stunned but they nodded. Shi Lang nodded and jumped onto the pedestal and then the clouds rumbled, and he yelled back, “Motherfuker, shut up! Your grandpa has come to see how tough you are acting outside, also can you ever be unpredictable? Loser.”

Then he sat down and closed his eyes, the clouds also calmed down, just giving out small thunders as if a child crying after getting wronged. However, Shi Lang didn’t care about it at all, in his mind, the Black turtle was sitting across him with a smile on his face and said, “It is not that I am predictable, but because you have formed a higher expectation from me and my siblings because of the people around you.”

Shi Lang sighed and said, “Old Sir, I swear, if I could, I would not want to live in this fragile world as well.”

The old man chuckled and presented a chess in front of him and the old man said, “Even if you fail, you can proceed, to the next round.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “Thank you.”

The trial began, and Shi Lang continued fighting to the best of his ability. Outside the soul sea, Shi Lang had no idea what was going on. But the people were literally watching everything unfold with pale faces, they could not understand how this human was emitting ripples caused by the clash of soul energy and this fucking soul energy carried traces of extreme Yin. However, just because they were extreme Yin beings, they were scared of it too, because Extreme Yin gave birth to Extreme Yang, if they were to get caught up in this Yin wave, they would be injured even if they didn’t die.

Naomi sighed as she tried to regain her composure and replied, “Elders, let us retreat from this clearing.”

Shi Lang finished winning the trial of the Black Turtle and the old man smiled as he said, “It seems I don’t need to go easy with you.”

Shi Lang smiled and said, “Thank you for going easy on me.”

The black turtle vanished and then the Azure Dragon appeared before him. The battle was a simple brawl, and after that appeared Vermillion Phoenix. Finally came the White tiger. The lady was so hard to deal with that Shi Lang had to summon Raksha. The reason was simple, she was also a dual element, her Yin was extreme and it begeted Yang. The fight was brutal, while still sitting in the trial Shi Lang had wounds appear on his body and blood was seeping out of it.

The people observing from the distance were shocked, they could only imagine the intensity of the battle. Shi Lang was fighting someone so strong that he was being pushed to the limits. While he was strong, he was not at the level of the Holy Beasts, their would always be some sort of casualty if he was to fight toe to toe with them in a situation that was in their favor only.

The battle last for a couple of hours, before Shi Lang opened his eyes and then coughed up blood. His vitaly had taken some damage, the Terran cursed the White tiger, and then fished out a pill bottle and took a few of them as if they were candies, and after a few minutes only did his energy stabilize. However, he was still a little weak.

The young man took a deep breath and looked at Naomi in the distance, before he called her over. The lady came over, and asked, “What can I do?”

Shi Lang sighed and replied, “You can only do one thing.”

He took out a deep breath and took out a slip of paper, and then gave it to her as he said, “Make sure that the spice is high, I cannot stand from the pedestal or I will have to go through the fucking trial again. Just bring me this food, I need to restore my energy. Because I cannot eat pills. They taste bitter.”

Then he turned his head away, and concentrated on his meditation. Naomi was shocked and mumbled, “The Spirit Pill is bitter?”
