The Yang Family head didn’t expect such a calm answer from Shi Lang, in his perception the Terran was a blood thirsty bastard who would stop at nothing before he finishes killing the people that offended him and the human race. However, this time he actually spared the people, which made the two people realize that shi Lang was not an unreasonable person. After the discussion the two people quickly left the place and began to follow the arrangements.

Elder Sun was a saint and he knew better than the rest that just because he was sitting on a high pedestal now, it did not give him the power to enjoy himself and indulge in leisure. On the contrary, it was all about having even greater responsibility. The old man shook his head and sidelined all the unnecessary thoughts as he rushed back to his home and finish the order of the talisman.

Shi Lang didn’t go back to his pavilion, he made his way to the command center, because there were a few things that he needed to handle. As soon as he entered the room, he found that Archie Arkham was sitting on the command chair and she was going through the reports of the various issues that occured during her absence. She sensed Shi Lang arrive to stand beside her and asked, “Why do you look so troubled?”

Shi Lang replied, “How can I not be troubled. The world is facing such disasters, and the final confrontation seems to be inevitable. How can I not be tense?”

Archie Arkham looked at him and said, “Punk, you can’t trick me like this. Do you think I have come to know you just yesterday? You have so many cunning plans that even the heavens are wary of you. What is this all about, tell me.”

Shi Lang sighed and replied, “Not all the time can I use my cunning to handle the situation that is beyond my limit. You are aware of that, aren’t you?”

Archie Arkham looked at him and said, “You sure you want me to stop trusting you like this? Time to surrender the Ace title then.”

Shi Lang rolled his eyes and said, “I am unsure of how old I am now, why are you talking about that old codename?”

The lady shrugged and said, “You look a little grown but still the same as you were during your teenage when you first joined us. So, stop talking as if you have really no idea. Now spit, what is going on in that skull of yours?”

Shi Lang looked at the various screens in the command center and said, “The world is lacking in a lot of things, we need to find out the correct balance to handle these things and ensure that the forces are ready for the tough battle ahead.”

The lady asked, “What do you think is going to happen?”

Shi Lang replied with spiritual communication, “A war of worlds. The realm lord will try to fight it out and grasp the knowledge of the rest of the people to strengthen himself. I am not sure how it will begin, will he target the stronger ones first or the weaker people. I have no idea about the mindset of the realm lord, because this guy is too unfamiliar. I have no data to try and speculate his moves.”

The lady nodded and said, “How about we try to infiltrate their plane?”

Shi Lang’s gaze suddenly turned too cold and the entire command center froze. The people had trouble breathing and Commander Silence said, “Calm down, I am just joking.”

Shi Lang looked in her eyes and said, “If this joke went out of your mind and my ears again, heavens forbid if someone tried to make this joke a reality, I will have to turn into a nightmare for you.”

He knew that Archie arkham was not joking at the moment, she was just messing with him, by joking that he could let Amelia be captured by the realm lord for her outstanding physique and then communicate with them. However, this was just an off handed remark because the Realm Lord will erase the human race the first thing after acquiring Amelia. Yet the vexation he felt for the Commander to even mention something like this was so strong that he almost unleashed his killing intent.

Just when he was controlling his thoughts, he froze and mumbled, “Amelia, yes, she is the key. We can still gather data against the enemy.”

That said, he rushed out of the command center in a flash, the rest of the matters that he had come over to solve were left behind. They had no precedence over the situation at the moment. Archie Arkham was still somewhat shaken by the sudden warning from Shi Lang but she smiled as she mumbled, “Now you have a reason to buckle up and fight the incoming threat, Ace.”

She shook her head and went back to reading the reports again, after all, this was not the first time where she had been talked back to in such a manner, Shi Lang had never been the optimal subordinate and now when he was standing on a pedestal above hers, the need to behave disciplined didn’t exist.

Shi Lang reached the courtyard and went inside to find Amelia practicing her sword play under the pavilion. He walked up to her and stood on the side, as he was about to ask her a question when he suddenly froze. Amelia seemed to have a golden light flashing in her eyes, and the Terran turned his eyes to look at her properly before the lady stopped and asked, “What happened?”

Shi Lang mumbled and asked, “Did you reach the Seeker Realm?”

Amelia nodded with a smile and Shi Lang sighed as he said, “Nothing, I wanted to ask, how much can you see?”

The lady paused in her actions and returned her sword to her waist and replied, “Everything, even a singularity.”

Shi Lang froze and asked, “What do you mean by the Singularity?”

Amelia pointed at him and said, “You, the Dao Threads around you, they seem to be sucked in by you, and they don’t wrap around you like they do around the rest, they pass through you, as if you are the Dao itself, however, they move, when you move, they move and they become really chaotic, completely paradox to the initial understanding I had. If that is not a paradox, what is?”

Shi Lang gulped and said, “I see, well, actually, I needed your help with something.”

Amelia smiled and replied, “Anything, my love, since when did things become this formal between us?”

Shi Lang shook his head and said, “Can you try to sense the consciousness of the world around us? I remember you were revived by the grace of the consciousness of the plane.”

Amelia nodded and said, “Let’s try.”
