Please be merciful my lord.”

Shi Lang looked at the man and said, “I am merciful when the people say truth and speak with reason. Do tell me why did these people go against the human race? Don’t they know it is a sin?”

Then he waved his hand and raised the Yang Family head’s body to stand up straight as he said, “Can you tell me what is going on?”

The Yang Family head nodded and replied, “They were put under the charm technique using a talisman from the Totem King. He holds significant hatred towards the races that managed to survive the Tournament.”

Shi Lang frowned and replied, “This is not how things should be, didn’t your family members have their soul protection measures in place?”

Yang Family Head shook his head and replied, “I apologize, Your Excellency, we have not managed to research any such method that could stop the attack of a saint talisman.”

Shi Lang looked at Yu Xeidi who replied, “The Sun family of the east had taken the responsibility about this issue, so I am guessing that they are the one who should be questioned.”

Shi Lang took out his communicator, and sent a message to the people back home, and said, “Family Head Yang, I would like to invite you and the people who were linked to this mess to the Asura Hall, the Sun family will be present there as well, and I would like to ask them why they faltered and why your family had to suffer this as well.”

The yang family head no other option and he nodded quickly before taking off behind Shi Lang through the space tunnel. They reached the Asura Hall within a few moments, and then Yu Xeidi said, “Family head Yang, please make yourself comfortable in the guest hall, as soon as the Sun family arrives, we will handle this situation.”

Yang Family head wanted to say that it was not that bad but he could not bring himself to lie as it was really that bad.
