Chapter 1143: Fighting Titus.

Yu Xeidi and Shi Lang settled on the side of the human camp. However, none of the people bothered them. Some of them who have come from outside knew what was going on, and they were discussing these things using spiritual communication, because they didn’t wish for Shi Lang or Yu Xeidi to get offended by their opinions. Although, hardly there was someone who opposed how strongly Shi Lang controlled the human race narrative.

The people in the world were always unsatisfied by what you do, so the only way to make sure they keep their thoughts to themselves was to grow stronger. This was why the people in the human race were scared of Shi Lang, because they knew he had the power to crush them all if he didn’t like their opinions.

Two days in the world of cultivation passed in something akin to a blink. Yu Xeidi practiced her interaction with the spirit embryo and just as Shi Lang had predicted, the sword spirit was more inclined toward the slaughter attribute, but when the Terran patiently guided Yu Xeidi things changed and the sword spirit mellowed out a lot.

At dawn of the third day, Yu Xeidi stood up from her spot and said, “Baba, it is time.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “Go ahead, I will be here, if needed I will show up to support you.”

Yu Xeidi smiled and replied, “I am aware of that, thank you Baba.”

Shi Lang patted her head as she vanished from the place. The rest of the humans who were observing the situation from the distance saw that Yu Xeidi flying away, and then they all rushed out to follow her. They wanted to know if it was really going to be a fight or would they end up negotiating things.

Yu Xeidi stood in the void above the Khyber encampment, and radiated her aura. It was enough to call the captain out to greet her. The man bowed to Yu Xeidi and said, “The Young Lord has been informed, Lady Yu, he should be arriving at any moment.”

Yu Xeidi frowned and said, “Was the time of the duel or my intent not mentioned clearly in the letter?”

The guard captain was about to reply when a thick voice sounded from the distance, “It is not that anything was missing, it is just that I wanted to take my time to come over.”

Yu Xeidi looked at the source of this voice, and then she asked, “Are you Titus?”

The burly man nodded and said, “I am Khyber Titus, and you are Yu Xeidi of the Asura Hall. You threw the death challenge to me. What were you thinking?”

Yu Xeidi shook her head and responded with a calm gaze, “No, you are not that big of a person who would warrant anything like a thought from me. I just wanted to blow off some steam and you are just right as a punching bag.”

The humans knew about her blunt attitude, they were kind of surprised that she even exchanged a dialog with this guy. Titus frowned, he didn’t expect Yu Xeidi to be so unpredictable and fearless. He smirked, and said, “Since that is the case, shall we begin and settle this whole thing.”

The next moment, he vanished from his spot and appeared a few inches away from Yu Xeidi, who didn’t even react and watched the man attack her with his punch. The lady took the punch, and she was sent flying for a few meters in the void before she stopped and then she looked at the man and said, “Is that all, or are you holding back thinking that I am a woman?”

Titus raised his brow and made a rude gesture to Yu Xeidi, and then the girl was enraged. Her hair turned red as she said, “Shura Slashing Heaven.”

She slashed with her epee and the attack was so strong and so violent that it caused the fabric of the void to shake from the ripples that it created. To counter the attack, Titus yelled, “Titan Shield, Aegis!”

Phantom of a shield appeared before him that collided with the sword slash.

The people from both races were watching the battle, when one of the Khyber soldiers said, “That is the strongest defense move, looks like Young Lord is not taking the enemy lightly.”

However, the experts in the human race said, “To think that the warring princess has grown so strong that she has improved this basic move to such a level.”

The comment made the Khyber Race people to realize how strong Yu Xeidi was. They were doubtful but the next moment they saw the Aegis shield shiver and it was covered with cracks. Yu Xeidi yelled, “Die!”

She made another slash and her sword intent piled up with the attack from before, and this time, the stack up caused the shield to shatter and the remaining sword intent directly hit Titus on the chest, leaving a horrid gash across his left shoulder as it stretched to the waist on the right.

Titus fell from the void, and Yu Xeidi chased after him. He had yet to die, so she chased after the guy and when she caught up with him, her fists began to rain down like a hailstorm. The people shivered when they saw how Yu Xeidi really pushed to the corner. The duel was settled just like that, but what remained to be completed was even more important and for that Shi Lang was needed.
