Chapter 1142: Xiao Yu Throws The Gauntlet.

Shi Lang and Amelia had a long conversation and then he set off with Yu Xeidi. The warring princess of the Asura Hall was dressed in battle armor and a big sword was tied to her back. The sword was shivering every now and then, Shi Lang said, “It seems that your sword is developing a spirit.”

Yu Xeidi nodded and replied, “Yes, it is developing a little with every battle, however, I am wondering if the nature of this sword is a bit too baleful.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “Well, indeed, it is young and all the time you weidl it, you are fighting with your all. So if you want to tame the nature of the sword a little bit more, try to calm down and hold it while you are meditating. However, remember that this guy will try to influence your thoughts for sure.”

Ye Xeidi sighed and said, “Why do I feel like it was better when it had no spirit.”

Shi Lang chuckled, they were both flying towards the location of the Dao Battlefield, he said, “You know when a sword grows a spirit it becomes a hundred times stronger, and they are able to conduct your sword intent better because that is the core of its existence. If you have trouble taming this guy, tell me, I am sure Raksha doesn’t want any other sword spirit to be more rowdy than herself.”

A voice echoed in both their heads, “Hey! Lang, I can hear you dumbass.”

The two humans chuckled and then soon they reached the Dao Battlefield, and landed on the ground. Shi Lang was wearing his red and black battle armor, and Yu Xeidi was his spitting image. They both had a similar battle style and preferred similar armors too. When they landed on the ground, the guards on the portal gateway were shocked.

They turned stiff because they could not forget about Shi Lang and Yu Xeidi even if they wanted to. These two have made a name that was written in blood. The leading guard quickly shattered a jade tied to his waist while he vigilantly watched the two people.

Shi Lang smiled faintly and said, “Good reaction, have you guys been well?”

At this moment, a middle-aged man rushed out of the side office and bowed to greet Shi Lang as he asked, “Your Excellency, forgive me for not greeting you personally.”

Shi Lang waved his hand and said, “Forgo this formal nuisance. I am not here to find trouble with you all. I am here only to enter the portal. Also, when I come out, I want you to inform your family head, that if he didn’t find the person responsible behind this conspiracy, I will pay him a visit, while the innocent have nothing to fear, I will not let go of even a single flee that tried to disturb the path of the human race. Is that understood?”

The man nodded repeatedly, as inside his chest his heart was beating like a rattling drum. Then Shi Lang and Yu Xeidi bypassed the man before they made their way directly to the portal. They vanished behind the portal and the middle-aged guard captain shivered before he said, “Val, you have the command I am rushing back to the family.”

Inside the Dao Battlefield, the people were shocked to see the two people enter, then what followed was a mass wave of anxiety among the soldiers and the cultivators who were present there to protect the pass. They all knew who the identity of the two people from the Asura Hall.

Shi Lang didn’t bother with anyone else. The Dao Battlefield served as a gateway for the various races to access the human race plain and it had transformed into a trade route for them, so the skirmishes have reduced significantly, and with the rising strength of the human race, the other races were deterred by the presence of the saints behind the human forces.

Shi Lang directly flew to the place where the Khyber Race encampment was established. When the people saw him approach, they were shocked, and they immediately informed all the superiors they had.

Shi Lang appeared above the encampment and said, “My name is Shi Lang, can you inform your leader to show up.”

His aura was enough to cause the people to suffocate, and even the heavens realm experts would have trouble withstanding that. So when Shi Lang spoke, his words were akin to a command, and his name was famous, because he was the one who fought in the uncrowned leader of the Human race.

Shi Lang waited for five breaths and when he saw that nobody had appeared outside to answer him, he said, “You have five more breaths before we take an action. I only want Titus.”

At this moment, a person appeared before him, and bowed as he said, “Your Excellency, it is forbidden for the Saints to take action against the lower realm cultivators.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and then he gestured toward Yu Xeidi, who directly unsheathed her big blade and a fiery sword intent raged toward the camp walls. In a blink the walls crumbled away as she said, “I am the warring Princess of the Asura Hall, and I am in the heaven realm, yet to climb the level of the saints, do you think it is alright for me to take action against you all for disrespecting a saint?”

The person was shocked, he could not even react when Yu Xeidi took action. He calmed down and then he said, “Your Excellency, Lord Titus has gone back to the Khyber realm, if you have any commands, please tell me, I will relay it to him.”

Yu Xeidi narrowed her gaze and then she took out a piece of paper before she wrote down a few words on it. Then she flicked the paper in the direction of the man, and said, “I am here to challenge your lord Titus to a death match. The difference among us have reached the point where they cannot be solved with words anymore. He commited a crime against the human race by circulating flawed information and inspiring some experts to follow it and fall into the evil path.

The conspirators against the human race will not be spared. Send him the letter of challenge, if he does not show himself in two days, then I will march into your realm to settle the account. That is all fair and according to the agreement of the myriad races, right?”

She left no method for the people to back out at all. This was how dominating Yu Xeidi was when she acted. Shi Lang stood silently on the side and he didn’t say a single word. Although, he wanted to talk and negotiate things peacefully with Titus at first after all, a violent confrontation might gain some attention but now that Yu Xeidi had thrown the gauntlet, he would have no other way but to handle things on the go.

The man gulped, his purple skin was turning pale and dim, because of the challenge letter, and looking at the indifferent gazes of the father and daughter pair, the man sighed and replied, “Yes, I will deliver the letter to the Young Lord. Till then, may I have the pleasure to host you in the camp.”

Yu Xeidi shook her head and said, “Till Titus comes forward, you are hostiles, we will be going back to the human race camp. Make sure you inform us promptly, because failure in completion would result in a forceful confrontation.”

The ultimatum was issued and Shi Lang and Yu Xeidi turned around to head back to the human encampment as they waited for Titus to show up.
