**'Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion'**
Chapter 609 - 608: Dreadborne Master
Chapter 609: Chapter 608: Dreadborne Master
Shalor left that dimension with a heavy expression.
He had come here expecting the leader to investigate or, at the very least, show concern, but he just seemed... careless.
His mind leaned toward the fact that there really was a master who owned Dreadborne.
But was that possible?
Shalor looked up.
At this moment, he could see various multiverses all connected here, demons moving about, building and training. Even technological ships designed for demon "aesthetics."
Not only that, but the amount of power they possessed was immense. Several races were under them, working for them as they conquered planets, galaxies, and universes every day.
The number of Rank 1 demons was almost infinite.
Rank 2 demons were everywhere, while Rank 3 demons numbered in the trillions.
Quasi-Rank 4 demons were in the millions.
How many races could withstand such an organization?
How many civilizations would not tremble before this?
Imagine having control over this force.
What couldn’t one do?
Fighting any multiverse would be easy.
Destroying one would be even easier.
Taking over one was basically... confirmed.
They... no, Dreadborne was a fitel-level organization, and it was not weak.
"Damn it... is there really a leader?" Shalor clenched his fist. "Void, isn’t it?"
"Huh?"
"Who called me?"
Just then, Shalor’s heart almost shattered.
He felt himself come under intense pressure as cold sweat dropped from his face. He reverted to his demon form. He had seven wings, a long tail, two horns, and six eyes. His heart beat rapidly.
"I..."
Shalor wanted to speak, but before this power, he felt like nothing but dust.
And this was the confirmation that Dreadborne truly had a master.
But... this...
"Who are you?" Void’s true form asked.
A moment ago, he had still been increasing his mastery over the Rules and taking back the feedback from his clone in the Realm.
He was quite surprised by the amount of Authority his clone had snatched, but it was expected. After all, his knowledge of Rules had been transferred to his clones. If they couldn’t come up with something like that, then Void would be disappointed.
But he suddenly felt someone call his name, and it wasn’t weak.
If it were a Rank 1 or even Rank 3 being, Void would ignore it.
But this was a Quasi-Rank 4 being.
He was curious.
"I am Shalor, a general under Dreadborne, directly reporting to Leader Sword Demon..." Shalor knelt on one knee, his face stricken with horror.
He seemed to realize something...
This was most likely the said master of Dreadborne.
His heart accelerated.
Did that mean everything was true?
"Ah... I see. So, we have grown this much. Interesting," Void muttered in surprise as he expanded his vision.
A smile hung on his face as he saw the functioning organization.
It seemed his slaves had done well.
How exhilarating.
"Sir... aren’t you... outside right now?"
Suddenly, Shalor asked, causing Void to pause.
"Heh, what do you mean?" Void asked as Shalor coughed.
"Sir, apologies for questioning you, but you have been around using the name of Dreadborne to cause mayhem. Ah, I mean... to your preference," Shalor spoke as Void frowned.
What?
One thing Void knew was that he was strong enough that just his name, Osiris, could cause "mayhem." Why would he need to use Dreadborne’s name?
As for his clones, all of them had their roles.
For example, the one in that massive Realm.
Kai, who was coming back.
Abornim, who was about to break through to Quasi-Rank 4.
And the remaining ones.
No one would use Dreadborne’s name for anything.
Something was going on.
"Shalor..." Void spoke, causing Shalor’s heart to skip a beat.
"Sir..."
Shalor felt he had misspoken.
Was he about to be punished?
"Investigate who this so-called master of Dreadborne is," Void spoke.
Shalor’s eyes widened.
Wait...
Did that mean someone else was impersonating the real master of Dreadborne?
Shalor’s eyes turned cold.
How dare he?
Did he think the Dreadborne organization was nothing?
"Yes, sir. I will do so. But, sir, how do I contact you?" Shalor asked, embarrassed.
"Oh, that..."
Void paused.
"Just tell Sword Demon about it. He will handle it. I do need to see that stubborn swordsman. It’s been a while, heh. Or, regardless, just mention my name and tell me."
Void said this as Shalor nodded.
That was good.
He would report to his leader and then to the master of Dreadborne.
Shalor felt Void’s presence disappear as his body relaxed. He turned back into a humanoid figure, his eyes shining.
He had actually been able to meet the master of Dreadborne?
How strong was he?
Shalor knew he wasn’t even close to him. Just by thinking about him, he had appeared.
How terrifying.
But now, he had to accomplish this mission, and he had to do it well.
"Shiiii... is he gone?"
Just then, Shalor heard a familiar voice as Sword Demon walked out.
"Ahh, Leader..." Shalor bowed as Sword Demon coughed.
"At ease, soldier..." Sword Demon said with an embarrassed smile.
Of course, Void had noticed that he was peeking and had intentionally said he wanted to see him.
Argh.
He had been delaying it.
Should he see Void?
Go meet him in that Realm?
But who knew if Void had another body or maybe a clone?
No.
That was the real Void.
Damn.
So he had only sent his clone to that realm.
How strong was Void now?
Sword Demon didn’t know, but after what he had done, he couldn’t face Void.
How could he dare to challenge Void?
Although, yes, most of Void’s slaves wanted to kill him, but not now.
They were far too weak.
They planned for the future.
But he...
He couldn’t keep himself in check.
After all, he loved Chu Su and Shen Ye.
To have two of your disciples killed by your master...
After that master had destroyed your world, maybe even killing your lifelong pet...
And his parents gone...
It was all too much.
"I heard everything. You and I will go investigate. I also want to see the being who claims to be the master of Dreadborne," Sword Demon spoke as Shalor nodded.
"Yes, Leader."
"So, where is he?" Sword Demon asked as Shalor began explaining.
By the time he was done, Sword Demon understood.
No wonder the news hadn’t reached them.
It was on the other side of the Fitel, but of course, Dreadborne’s reputation had reached there, and the imposter had used it to make a name for himself. He had even recruited some beings to pretend to be the leaders of Dreadborne.
How bold of him?
But that side of the Fitel wasn’t weak either. Rank 4 beings existed there in abundance, and Rank 5 beings were even in charge.
So they had to be careful during their investigation. At the very least, they weren’t going there to fight, but to find information.
"Alright, get ready," Sword Demon spoke.
He grabbed Shalor by the shoulders, and before Shalor could react, they shattered the fifth layer of space, directly entering the Fitel as they advanced rapidly.
They passed terrifying Star Sea Beasts at Rank 4 and traveled through the Cosmic Sea.
Shalor was able to feel the true power of a Rank 4 being as his eyes widened.
He longed even more to reach the Rank 4 realm.
