Chapter 594: Chapter 593: A new King

Nekro walked out of the basement.

Basically, she didn’t know anything. She only knew that whatever was happening to her was connected to something from the past.

Regardless, Nekro couldn’t allow her to be out of his sight.

He had to monitor her constantly while he waited for the leaders to make their way to the Ynvashi Kingdom.

The news of what had happened quickly spread throughout the Mortal Realm, and it came as an even greater shock when everyone realized that the master behind everything was a Rank 1 being.

With him being at Rank 1, everyone else had no choice but to bow before him, even if some of them were unwilling.

When the three-day deadline arrived, they all appeared, including the Ancestor of the Molak Family.

Only a Quasi-Rank 1 being truly understood the terror of a Rank 1 being.

Was it their strength, speed, or durability?

It didn’t matter.

To a Rank 1 being, a Quasi-Rank 1 was nothing more than an ant, regardless of whether they were at the First Step or Fifth Step.

Knowing this, they naturally rushed to the Ynvashi Kingdom.

After all, if they disobeyed, it wouldn’t only be them who would be destroyed. The forces behind them would be destroyed as well.

Meanwhile, Leon was the one who benefited the most.

During the battle, he had been moving around the battlefield, taking attacks and surviving them. Now, he had already reached the Peak Rank 0 Realm.

All he needed now was for a Quasi-Rank 1 being to attack him, allowing him to survive the attack and smoothly break through into Rank 1.

He also heard the news, and because of it, he changed his plans.

He had been well aware that the people they were fighting weren’t the true enemies.

They weren’t the princes.

They weren’t even the organization.

They were all pawns.

The true enemy was their leader, the Rank 1 being standing behind everything.

"We have all gathered here because we are survivors. You have heard the news. You have heard the calling."

Leon paused.

"Guess how many of your forces went there?"

At this moment, inside a large cave, several hundred people could be seen.

Each of them was a member of the forces under the Molak Family, and they had been separated from their forces during the chaos.

Leon had found them and convinced them to join him.

Now, he stood before them as they remained silent.

Each of them clenched their fists.

They felt ashamed when they heard the news that their leaders had surrendered and once again bowed before an Upper Realm being.

After all, he was the only Rank 1 being in the Mortal Realm.

"We have to stand together."

"Otherwise, the Mortal Realm is finished."

"Yes, things are against us."

"Yes, they have Quasi-Rank 1 beings."

"Yes, they have a Rank 1 leader."

"But we have something else."

Leon paused.

"We are unknown."

"Right now, no one knows we’re alive, nor does anyone care whether we are."

"So we can remain in the shadows and secretly gather our strength."

"By the time we reach our peak, we’ll take over the Mortal Realm."

Leon declared.

The people immediately erupted into cheers, smiles appearing on their faces.

Seeing this, Leon nodded.

"The Mortal Realm can now contain a Rank 1 being."

"As long as we find ancient ruins and absorb their inheritances, I’m sure a Rank 1 being will eventually emerge among us."

"Yes!"

"Thank you, Prince Leon!"

"Prince Leon!"

The people cheered as Leon smiled in satisfaction.

Ynvashi Kingdom

Three days had passed since Nekro’s declaration, and the kingdom was packed with experts.

It was the first time the Mortal Realm had seen so many Peak Rank 0 and Quasi-Rank 1 beings gathered in one place.

The Royal Family had invited them all to a feast to "discuss" the future.

But everyone wore wary smiles.

Who wouldn’t dare to come after receiving such a threat?

And so, a massive feast began.

Nekro sat on the throne that once belonged to the King of the Ynvashi Kingdom.

"According to the history of the Royal Family..."

Just as everyone looked at one another warily, unsure of what to say or do, Nekro began speaking.

"Once, the Ynvashi Kingdom ruled the Mortal Realm."

"All other kingdoms, organizations, and families were vassals under them, answering directly to the Royal Family."

"Tsk... That was the golden age of the Mortal Realm."

Nekro lamented as he took a sip from his wine cup.

After draining the cup, he placed it down and continued.

"I want to bring that history back."

Everyone gasped.

But then again...

Thinking about it, perhaps only Nekro possessed the ability to accomplish such a thing.

Even if some of them were unwilling, they had no choice.

"Yes, Your Majesty," everyone replied.

Nekro smiled.

"No, don’t worry."

"I don’t need your land or territories."

"The Ynvashi Kingdom will be the central power, while all of you will become designated states."

"Your task is to receive orders from me and enforce them."

"As for the ruins appearing and the energy concentration rising, those are all good things for you."

"Take this opportunity to grow stronger."

"Perhaps one or two of you might even break through to Rank 1."

Nekro chuckled as he glanced at the Ancestors of the Royal Family and the Molak Family.

And sure enough, the two Ancestors smiled bitterly when they heard this.

Only they truly understood how difficult it was to break through to Rank 1.

There seemed to be something missing.

Without it, they couldn’t break through.

They were already stuck, even though the energy was sufficient.

Without that single missing factor, breaking through to Rank 1 was impossible.

"So..."

"Is that understood?" Nekro asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty," everyone replied.

"Good, good."

"Stay for a while. Let us host you before you leave."

Nekro spoke casually.

Everyone’s faces twitched.

Why are you still holding us here? Just let us return!

But no one dared to show their dissatisfaction.

So they waited for several more days before finally leaving one after another.

Once everyone had departed, Nekro called for the First Prince.

"Tell me everything you know about your sister."

Nekro spoke coldly.

The First Prince trembled as he hurriedly began speaking.
